Chapter 378 The Wedding Is Approaching
Brandon spoke and looked up at Freya, saying, “Frey, no matter what happens, don’t bear it alone. Trisha Treats you like her own daughter”
He felt the same way.
But he couldn’t voice such sentimental words no matter how much time passed.
In the end, he got angry instead and said, “Alright, come and play chess with me, Radley!”
The two stayed in the courtyard until evening before they left.
On the way back, Freya sighed. “I hope this matter will be over soon. Master and Mrs. Lane are already at such an old age. They shouldn’t worry about me anymore.”

Freya resumed her live streaming.
She decided that she would continue to livestream on weekends. On weekdays, she would work at the fragrance brand that the Kaufmann Group and the Monaghan Group collaborated on.

Edward had returned home early today. He put on the white shirt that was just dried outside.
The shirt was not completely dry, so it still carried a damp coolness, which caused Edward to shiver.

“She’s still in the mood for live streams?” Jamie raised an eyebrow.
Edward was happy because of Freya’s plan to resume streaming. So, he didn’t notice Jamie’s slightly cold
tone.
After putting on his clothes, Edward got ready to leave, Jamie followed behind him, saying, “Let me take you there.”
On the way to the Kaufmann Residence, Jamie became even more impatient than usual. He was even a little restless when he saw the traffic lights.

But now, it had become too troublesome.
After trying for several years, no one in the entire LEV organization could even snatch a book from a young girl’s hands. They would be treated like a joke if word got out.
Now, Jamie didn’t know where Freya had hidden that book. He wondered if he should target Freya next.
As the thought flashed through Jamie’s mind, he immediately looked at Edward beside him.
Seeing the joyful and expectant expression on his younger brother’s face, he sighed deeply in his heart.
The concept of repaying kindness was never effective for him.
But Edward was his only remaining family in this world, and Edward thought of Freya as the sun, Jamie didn’t want to extinguish Edward’s sunlight.
Freya was truly a troublesome woman.
“Jamie, how’s your job at the Kaufmann Group so far?” Edward turned to look at Jamie.
Jamie smiled and said, “Not bad.”
They arrived at the gate of the Kaufmann Residence. By now, Edward’s shirt was completely dry. After getting out of the car, he bid farewell to Jamie.
Jamie thought for a moment and got out of the car. He walked up to Edward and then adjusted the latter’s
collar.
“Edward, there are some things you have to get for yourself. Don’t be satisfied with just observing from a distance,” Jamie said.
Edward was taken aback and immediately frowned. “Jamie!”
“Alright, I get it. I won’t say more.” Jamie smiled.
Edward pursed his lips and turned to enter the Kaufmann Residence.
He understood what his brother meant, but the difference between the Kaufmann family and the Fraser family was like heaven and earth.
Even if he could overcome those differences, he still couldn’t overcome the final obstacle. Freya had always treated him as a younger brother, as a child.
Inside the Kaufmann Residence, Freya sat in the small studio for live streaming. She was tidying up her makeup tools.
When she heard a noise at the door, she looked up and saw Edward standing there, smiling.
“You’re here.”
Edward hadn’t seen Freya for a long time. A blush appeared on his handsome face
Freya held a brush in her hand and smiled. Tve been too busy lately, so I haven’t had time to visit you
“It’s okay. I knew you’d come back on air anyway. I was also busy writing a paper these days” Edward said
