For the next two weeks, Freya had been burying herself with work on developing the new perfume brand. On weekends, she would conduct her live stream in which she would share knowledge about health and makeup. As far as it was concerned, it seemed that Freya was back to the life she was once used to, but deep down, she wasn’t sure whether that man she was thinking about had moved on from her.
Meanwhile, Braxton and Isabella’s wedding was prst around the corner, just as all the invitations had been sent out. Considering the fact that the wedding was going to be held in the Kaufmann Residence’s courtyard, Braxton specially arranged some security guards to guard the perimeter around the area. After all, he couldn’t afford to allow anything to ruin the wedding, especially when their wedding was so close.
Later, when it struck 8 pm, Freya went on to help Sylvia with preparing the wedding bed. “Your brother’s wedding is tomorrow. Should we bring Jolly back?”
“Forget about him. He is too young for this occasion, which I’m sure there are still plenty like this one in the future, Freya replied with a smile.
After the two of them took a look at each other’s invitation cards, they proceeded to go to bed. In fact, they had been busy with the wedding preparation for the past few days. Freya pursed her lips, realizing they had indeed not seen each other for a long time due to their busy schedules. Thus, she replied to Radley affirmatively. Just send me the address.
Just come out. I’m already at your doorstep. Radley answered.
She chuckled and changed her clothes, tiptoeing through the door carefully so that she wouldn’t wake her mother up. As soon as she stepped out of the Kaufmann Residence, she saw a car parked not far away. Although the car didn’t have the headlights on, she could vaguely see a man sitting inside. She then picked up her pace and walked toward the car just as the silhouette stepped out of the vehicle.
“I miss you.” Radley gave Freya a hug as soon as she appeared in front of him.
“You came to my doorstep directly and asked if I wanted to grab late-night supper before I agreed to join. you. What if I said no?” Freya curled her lips mischievously.
Then, I’ll go back,” Radley responded with a smile and spoke with a deep voice. Deep down, he missed her so much, as if he was suffering from withdrawal symptoms without her by his side.
As soon as the duo entered the car, they realized they didn’t have much choice at that ungodly hour. Therefore, Freya decided that they should have supper at a barbeque stall, but Radley, who was rather particular with hygiene, didn’t seem to like it, especially the smoky environment. Nevertheless, when he noticed Freya’s hungry look, he smiled and entered the place with her. Then, when the barbeque was served, the atmosphere began to be lightened.

It turned out that a woman was staring at the Kaufmann Residence’s gate. “Freya?! Because of you, I ended up being a fugitive for the past year, yet here you are, having a happy life with Radley?! I swear I will make you pay with your life!”
The next day, Freya woke up early and left the house in an energetic manner. As Braxton’s sister, she was obligated to head over to the bride’s place to pick her up. Soon, a motorcade of wedding convoys slowly made its way to the Parker Residence, where Isabella’s bedroom door was shut. At the same time, a few of Isabella’s bridesmaids stood in front of the door as they tried to make it difficult for the bridegroom to reach the bride.
While the atmosphere was filled with high energy and liveliness, Isabella’s parents stood at the door with bright smiles. Apparently, they were satisfied and proud of their son-in-law, whom their daughter was marrying.
On the other hand, Freya also knew Braxton and Isabella’s mutual friends, and it was only when she saw the smiles on her faces that her mood finally lifted. While she was amused by the funny interaction. between Braxton’s friends and the bridesmaids, the door was finally opened.

In the end, Isabella got tired of waiting and said, “Hurry up and give him my high heels. I can’t wait much longer!” After a burst of laughter, one of the bridesmaids eventually revealed the bride’s high heel by taking it from the corner. As Braxton helped put on the high heels for Isabella, Freya noticed the tears of joy rolling in her best friend’s eyes.
After the bride was collected, it was time for Isabella and Braxton to say goodbye to her parents.

Isabella, who was known for her carefree atutude, smileil brightly until the car started hitting the road. When the sight of her mother slowly disappeared from her view, tears somehow rolled down her cheeks. Overwhelmed with mixed emotions, she said, “That’s who my mom is. She cries easily, doesn’t she? Guess what? She always found me annoying and berated me for causing all the trouble, wishing that I would leave home one day and give her the peace that she had wanted, but now that I’m finally gone, she is sobbing right there. Funny, isn’t it?”
Freya handed Isabella a piece of tissue paper from the front seat and smiled at her. “Wipe your tears first.”
As they continued their journey, they finally arrived at the Kaufmann Residence. Upon entering through the gate, the bride immediately stepped out of the vehicle and made her way into the house with the bridegroom.
Soon, the wedding began officially. That day, Freya was seated in the designated area with her family members since she was the bridegroom’s sister, shooting a gaze at Radley, who was sitting in the first row right in front of the stage.
As a prestigious figure in Caltun, The Kaufmann family was able to invite many influential and rich guests: to their wedding. Looking at the overwhelming crowd, Freya couldn’t help but feel touched and grateful for her family’s status as she paid attention to her surroundings on and below the stage. Fortunately for everyone, the wedding went on smoothly and ended on a happy note.
After the guests left later that evening. Freya hurried upstairs and made her way to Braxton’s room, where she thought she could chat with Isabella for a bit. Nevertheless, before she could reach the door, she was stopped by Sylvia, who showed her the way back to her own room.
Then, Freya ended up spending the rest of her long night having a video call with Radley, lying on her belly in her comfy bed. “Why are you still up?” She blinked her eyes and asked.
“Because I’m not tired yet.” Radley chuckled.
Noticing the stack of documents piling up in front of him, Freya frowned and asked, “What are you looking at?”
Radley pushed the stack of documents aside, pretending to look calm. “Nothing,” he responded with a clear voice.
