While Freya was lost in thought, Isabella was playing with the baby beside her, discreetly. observing Freya.
“Frey, I heard from your brother that Radley has been visiting your house frequently lately.”

“I don’t want to see him.”
“I can understand that. After all, you got hurt in Vroria because he took you out without permission,” Isabella muttered, “This Radley is a scourge.”
Freya furrowed her brows slightly. “Who said he took me out without permission?”
“Your brother did. He told me everything that happened in Vroria.”
Freya pursed her lips and remained silent.
In Braxton’s eyes, Radley was now unforgivable.
However, Freya’s gaze flickered slightly.
She had regained her past memories and hadn’t forgotten what happened afterward.
That day by the creek, Radley had whispered to her, saying that he could come over every day if she felt bored in Vroria.

“Nothing.” Freya smiled faintly, making Isabella squint her eyes. “I feel like you’ve changed a lot since you came back from Vroria.”
“Have I?”
“Yes, you’ve become much more composed.”
Freya smiled and caressed her baby boy’s check. “Maybe it’s because I’m a new mother. First- time mothers are often more sensitive and sentimental, I suppose.”
Isabella seemed somewhat concerned. “I heard that many people are susceptible to postpartum depression after giving birth. Sweetie, you’re not dealing with some kind of psychological illness, are you?”
Freya cast a sidelong glance at Isabella in response. “I’m sure you’ve heard a lot about my situation from my brother now that you’re engaged to him.”
Isabella chuckled playfully, “Of course, how could you, the esteemed Professor Harlan, suffer from depression?”
They chatted and laughed for a while until they heard some commotion outside.
Freya stood up and walked to the window to take a look.
A group of security personnel stationed downstairs were hurrying toward the entrance.
“What’s happening at the entrance?” Freya asked loudly from the window.
The captain of the security team looked up and replied, “There’s a disturbance at the entrance, Miss Freya. Mr. Braxton instructed us to head over immediately. Please rest assured. We won’t allow anyone to breach the premises.”
How could there be a commotion at the entrance of the Kaufmann Residence?
Freya narrowed her eyes slightly. She saw a familiar car parked outside the garden gate, and her grip on her hands tightened. As the car door slowly opened, even though she couldn’t make out the features clearly, she could see that the face was turned in her direction.
Without hesitation, Freya hurried back into the house, closing the window and drawing the curtains shut.
In front of the Kaufmann Residence’s gate, Radley withdrew his gaze and clenched his fist by

He turned to look at Braxton standing before the gate.
“Braxton, I just want to see her. I have no intentions of doing anything, let alone harming her.” Radley’s voice was deep and somber.
Resentment enveloped Braxton’s face as he sneered. “Do you think I’ll believe what you say? Radley, if you have any decency, you better leave now, or I’ll call the police!”
The atmosphere suddenly became tense.
Radley stared intently at Braxton. “I just want to know why she suddenly left!” She left without a word, let alone an explanation.
At that, Braxton snorted disdainfully, retreated behind the gate, and called the security. personnel who had just arrived.
“Close the gate, and don’t take your eyes off the entrance. If anyone manages to break it. again, I’ll hold you guys responsible.”
With that, the heavy iron gate of the Kaufmann Residence closed with a resounding thud.
Behind the iron gate’s bars, a few bodyguards tightly surrounded the gate, looking in hist direction with fear.
Connor approached Radley grimly. “What should we do now, Mr. Monaghan?”
Radley took a deep breath, recalling the familiar figure he had seen at the window moments. ago, which seemed to be avoiding something, promptly shutting the window.

Haven’t I sealed off all the routes? How can Radley possibly sneak in?!
