Chapter 260 He Must Know the Reason
The Monaghan Group.
Radley Monaghan looked at the documents in his hand, listening to the report from the head of the Finance Department.
Hearing a knock on the office door, he responded, “Come in.”
Connor hurried in from outside with a hint of joy on his face.
“Mr. Monaghan, Miss Kaufmann has regained consciousness!”
The head of the Finance Department glanced at Connor curiously. Miss Kaufmann? Miss Kaufmann, who? Who regained consciousness?
Radley abruptly stood up with the documents in his hands.

Before he could finish his sentence, Radley had already stood up and strode out of the office like a gust of wind!
Connor quickly followed, turning back to the head of the Finance Department and. instructing. “Do continue the report tomorrow.”
Outside the Monaghan Group building, Connor drove while Radley sat in the back seat, his hand involuntarily clenching. His thumb and index finger rubbed against each other, and he felt excitement and anticipation he had never felt before.
It had been a month.
He believed that Freya would wake up, but as time went on, the ray of hope became dimmer.
“Is the news confirmed?” Radley asked again.
Connor nodded from the front seat. “Dr. Griffiths personally called.”
The car sped toward Caltun General Hospital.
Half an hour later.
Radley stood in front of Freya’s ward, only to be looking at an empty room. Even the bedding on the bed had been taken away.
“Where is she?” Radley turned to look at Connor.

Connor immediately called Ethan.
Two minutes later, he hung up the phone with a somewhat embarrassed expression.
“Mr. Monaghan, Dr. Griffiths said Miss Kaufmann has been discharged.”
Radley frowned. “Didn’t she just wake up? How can she be discharged already?”
Connor cautiously replied, “Dr. Griffiths said Miss Kaufmann looked at her medical records. and test results, checked her own pulse, and confirmed that she would be fine. She went back. to the Kaufmanns’ to recuperate herself.”
“And Ethan agreed to this reason?!” Radley’s voice was guttural.
He stared at the empty room for a while, tightly pursing his lips. Ethan would indeed agree, as Freya’s medical skills surpassed his own.
But did she not think to tell him after waking up?
Radley furrowed his brows. Maybe she was too weak after just waking up.
It didn’t matter, he could go to Kaufmann Residence to see her.
At 7 p.m., Radley stood in the woods not far from Kaufmann Residence.
The place he used to climb over now had a new surveillance camera with a flashing red light. as it monitored in a 365-degree loop.
There was also a note attached: Comes with an alarm system.
In other words, as soon as he climbed over, regardless of what the homeowner thought, the monitoring system would automatically dial 911.
Radley pursed his lips into a tight line. When he went to Freya’s room before, she joked. about wanting to know how he got in to make up for the loophole.
But in reality, Freya never took care of that loophole.
With her tacit consent, he met her again and again.
It was now clear that Freya didn’t want to see him; otherwise, there wouldn’t be that note under the surveillance camera.
“But why?” Frowning, Radley murmured softly.
He took out his phone and sent Freya a message.

He had so many questions for her, but in the end, he only typed one word.
Radley: Freya.
‘Message not sent successfully. The recipient is not in your contact.
When a bright exclamation mark caught his eye, Radley’s hand holding the phone tightened suddenly.
Just what was going on?!
Freya had been interacting with him normally before, and he could even feel the intimacy and change in her.
Radley looked up and could see the distant villa from here.
The window that belonged to Freya was still lit.
He had to know the reason!
Freya had been resting at home for seven days. Even though she hadn’t gone out at all, she didn’t complain about being bored this time.
Saturday, 10 a.m.
Isabella was peeling an orange in the living room.
“Frey, why do I feel like you’ve changed after recovering from your illness?”
Freya looked up and smiled. “How have I changed?”
Isabella put on a serious expression and stared at Freya for a while. “I don’t know, but I feel like your temperament has changed.”
Freya chuckled and made a hollow expression. “I’m actually already dead. I’m just a soul after possessing someone else’s body!”
She put on a dramatic act, making Isabella burst into laughter.
Isabella then handed the orange to Freya.
“Alright, alright. But seriously, you’ve been resting for quite some time now. Dr. Griffiths said you can go out and get some sun. It’s not healthy for you to stay indoors all the time.”
Freya put on a small smile. “I think it’s fine this way. The weather is getting colder. I might

catch a cold if I went out to sunbathe.”
As the two chatted, the cry of a baby sounded.
Freya stood up and walked to the baby crib next to the couch to pick up her chubby son.
Isabella, too, leaned in and reached out to touch the baby’s face.
“Your son’s voice is really loud, but his face is so cute. I also want-
Isabella stopped halfway through her sentence.
“No, not really, but I don’t mind if you give your son to me.”
Freya knew Isabella was thinking about Braxton’s body, and she smiled. “Don’t worry, although the information I gave my brother was a lie, we’ve made some progress in the lab recently. I am super confident about it.”
A glimmer of hope appeared in Isabella’s eyes.
“Frey, thank you.” She pretended to go in for a big hug.
Freya pushed her away with disgust. “Alright, don’t squeeze my son.”

Freya rested her chin on her hand. “I discussed it with my family. They choose the nickname, and I choose the full name. But I haven’t decided yet.
“But for the nickname… my mom chose Jolly’ for him, my brother chose ‘Amor,” and Grandma chose ‘Brock. They can’t agree on which one to use.”
Even though it was three generations, they couldn’t agree on a nickname for the fourth. generation.
Sarah thought the names chosen by Sylvia and Braxton were not grounded enough, so she directly chose “Brock” to tie the child down so that he could grow up healthy.
As for her mother, she thought “Jolly” sounded catchy and had a good meaning.
Freya covered her mouth. “I just hope that we can decide on a nickname before my son turns
one.”

Freya’s eyes flickered, and she instantly thought of a name.
