Freya turned around to leave, but Matthew grabbed her wrist.
She turned around and saw that Matthew’s expression was unusually serious.

Matthew reached into his pocket and took out a velvet box.

Freya pursed her lips. Previously, Matthew had always been playful, so she never took his confessions. seriously, but starting today, she felt that she needed to create some distance between them.
