Will Never Let Him Go
Matthew’s eyes were cold and fierce as he stared at Chris. “This is between Frey and me. Who do you think
you are?”
Chris’ temper was already explosive, and when he heard Matthew’s words, he smirked and rolled up his sleeves.
“Alright, today I’ll let you know what kind of person you are. Stop calling her ‘Frey
Matthew touched his face where he had been hit and spoke in a sinister voice. “Chris, it seems like the Hollands have spoiled you.”
Chris was so angry that he started cursing, but Freya struggled to hold him back and tried to reason with a gentle voice.
“Chris, stop causing trouble. Today is Braxton’s engagement banquet. What are you doing fighting here?”
Chris was wary of Freya’s belly, afraid that he might hurt her if he pushed her away too hard.
“Frey, let me go. This guy comes to someone else’s house to act like a hooligan, so I’ll teach him a lesson for you!”
Worried, Freya looked at Mikael a few steps away.
He was holding a phone and leisurely pointed it toward them as if he was filming something.
Freya became anxious.
“Mick, stop filming and come hold Chris!”
Mikael raised his lips. “Don’t worry.”
What do you mean, don’t worry?
Looking at Mikael’s appearance, it was obvious that he was enjoying the show!
Freya was so angry that she almost had a headache!
Chris continued to curse, “Matthew, who do you think you are? Do you think I don’t know what kind of person you are? Do you really think you’re worthy of competing with Radley for a woman? If your brother hadn’t died early, you, a b*stard, would be rotting somewhere with no one caring about you!”
Freya was taken aback and turned to look at Matthew,
Matthew’s face had completely darkened, his eyes filled with intense killing intent.
Freya stood between the two of them, preventing them from fighting.
Mikael walked over leisurely, put down his phone, and looked at the screen with a smile.
“Radley, how was it? Was it a good show?”
Freya was taken aback and immediately looked at Mikael’s phone. From his angle, she could only see the back of the phone, but the voice coming from the phone was familiar and deep.

“Hold onto Chris, and don’t let him hurt Freya.”
Chris also heard it and went mad with anger.
“I’m venting for you!”
“Matthew’s matter will be handled by me when I go back. Mikael, please take care of Frey and bring her back to her mother.” Radley’s voice came through again.
Mikael responded and ended the video call.
He crossed his arms and looked at Chris. “Radley said that he would handle this himself. This man here is not even trying to force himself on your girlfriend. So, stop being angry here and come back with me!”
Freya felt that something was off about the things these two were saying, but she couldn’t put her finger on
She frowned and looked at Mikael, comparing his calm demeanor to Chris’ explosive temper. It was clear that he was the one who thought things through.
However, she had just managed to get Radley to promise not to target the Hoods anymore.
If the Monaghan Group were to attack the Hood Group again, things would become troublesome! Freya stared at Mikael with an unfriendly gaze.
Mikael seemed to see through her thoughts and smiled with a gentle and friendly expression.
He was like a smiling fox.
“Frey, let’s go. We’ll take you back.”
Mikael spoke, and his gaze swept over Matthew, a hint of coldness flashing in his eyes.
Matthew whispered, “Frey, I still have something to tell
you.”
Freya walked back with Chris, not turning her head to look at Matthew,
She gritted her teeth and said, “Matthew, today is Braxton’s engagement ceremony. I don’t want you to make a big deal out of this! I can pretend that what happened earlier didn’t happen, but let’s avoid seeing each other in the future.”
This engagement ceremony was something her mother and Isabella had worked so hard to prepare.
Freya didn’t want any flaws in it..
Back at the banquet, she found a corner sofa and sat down.
Mikael and Chris sat on either side of her.
Freya furrowed her brows. “Don’t you two have anything to do? Where are your dates?”
Chris pointed with his hand.
Freya followed his direction and looked over.
Poppy and Regina were not far away, chatting and laughing with a few other girls.
Freya pursed her lips.
“Then, go and accompany your dates. You don’t have to stay with me.”
They were like two door gods on either side.
Chris raised his eyebrows. “No, what if that hooligan comes over to bully you again?”
Freya rubbed her forehead. “He’s not a hooligan. When you hit him just now, he had already apologized.”
“What’s the use of apologizing after doing something like that?”
Chris’ face turned cold.
Mikael spoke calmly from the side.
“Freya, you do care about the alliance between the Kaufmann Group and the Hood Group, don’t you?”
Freya furrowed her brows and looked at Mikael.
“The Kaufmann Group and the Hood Group have been partners for many years. And Matthew is Braxton’s best friend. I don’t want him to be harmed in any way, Mick.”
Mikael raised his eyebrows, clearly understanding what Freya meant.
“Frey, we are also friends of Radley’s. We can’t just stand by and watch him not be here while the he likes is being bullied.”

Mikael smiled. “No matter what you think, I know that Radley has feelings for you. So even if he’s not in Caltun right now, I won’t let Matthew have another chance to get close to you.”
His tone was gentle, but it sent chills down one’s spine.
Freya immediately felt a sense of unease. “What do you want to do to Matthew?”
“It’s not my turn to do anything this time.”
Mikael smiled and thought of the face of Radley in the video call, his face so cold it seemed like it was about to freeze.
“But Radley will never let him go.”
Freya felt a headache coming on. She sighed and looked at the crowd.
A young man holding a glass of wine was looking around in the crowd.
Freya stood up immediately.
“Edward, come over here.”
Edward had been looking for Freya’s whereabouts all this time, and when he heard Freya’s voice, he looked over.
He saw Freya, his eyes brightened, and he ran over. “Frea, I’m here.”
“Yeah.” Freya smiled. “When did you arrive?”
“I arrived early, but when the emcee was conducting the ceremony, I saw you sitting in the relatives’ seat, so I didn’t go up to disturb you.”
Edward smiled shyly. “But when the emcee finished, I couldn’t see you anymore.”
At that time, he had been invited by a girl to dance, but after rejecting her. Freya was no longer in her seat.
Freya laughed.
“Since you’re here, have a good time. Hannah and Melissa are here too. You can go find them.
Edward looked at Freya with eager eyes. “I just want to stay by your side.”
“Okay” Freya smiled. “Let’s go.
