Chapter 230 Waiting for His Return
Radley and Freya walked toward the car parked on the side of the road.
“I’ll drive you back.”

Freya opened the confidential box in her hand and took out an invitation card from her bag, handing it to

“Master, this is the invitation card for my brother’s engagement banquet. If you have time, please bring your wife and daughter to celebrate.”

Freya stood up and picked up a pile of small wooden structures, preparing to go back to her office to play with them.

Brandon made a disgusted gesture and waved his hand.
Freya’s office was not far from Brandon’s. In just a few steps, she walked to the door of her office. She glanced sideways at Radley’s office door, which was now tightly locked.

In the afternoon, after packing up, she went to Brandon’s office, said goodbye, and then drove home.

Radley: I’ve already met Wilson.

Freya glanced at the traffic light, which had a few seconds left. She put her phone aside and started the car.
When she arrived back at the Kaufmanns’ house, Freya got out of the car and looked at her phone again, Radley had sent another message.
Radley reminded her, “Wait for me to come back.”
It’s these words again. Freya’s heart felt a vague uneasiness. She always felt that something would happen
when Radley came back.
Something was slowly changing.
In a few more days, it would be Braxton’s engagement banquet. The Kaufmann Residence was already cleaned inside and out, and the decorated pillars and platforms had been placed one after another.
Only the flowers that were air-freighted needed to be arranged in advance.
After dinner, Freya made a phone call to Isabella.
Isabella, who was usually carefree, sounded a bit trembling in her voice, “Freya, I just realized that the engagement is in a few days, and I’m so nervous!”
