Chapter 149 Can’t You Understand?
After Radley and Chris invited Freya to sit down, they continued the conversation they had just been having about recent economic changes in Caltun.
Freya reached for the bottled water on the table, but before she could open it, an empty cup was handed
to her.
She looked up and saw Sienna smiling at her.
“Miss Freya, I’d like some water too. Can you pour me some?”
Freya didn’t mind and poured half a cup for Sienna, who looked pleased with herself.
Radley, who was in the middle of their conversation, frowned slightly and called over a waiter and ordered, “Please bring in some warm water and juices.
The snacks on the table were quickly replaced by cakes and sweets that girls usually enjoyed.
Freya’s bottled water was also exchanged for juice, which Radley handed to her.
“You’re pregnant. Don’t drink anything too cold.”

When Freya heard this, she raised her eyebrows slightly, realizing that the Hollands had already expressed interest in entering Caltun.
She hadn’t heard of this news before, which meant that this was a secret, but Radley didn’t seem to care at all in front of her.
At this time, Sienna was diligently refilling Radley and Chris’ glasses with wine.
When she reached over to fill for the third time, Freya frowned and covered the glass with her hand.
Radley and Chris both looked over, and Sienna arched her brow while holding the wine bottle. “Miss Kaufmann?”
Freya met Radley’s gaze and said, “Your injury hasn’t fully healed. It’s better not to drink too much.”
Seeing that, Sienna snickered. Even though she was meeting Radley for the first time, she had heard of him before. She was used to dealing with men like him.
Freya was attempting to exert control over Radley as if she were his girlfriend, but Sienna knew that this type of man could not be tamed.

While putting on a lovely front, Sienna chuckled lightly.
“Miss Kaufmann, it’s normal for drinks to be involved in business meetings.”
As she said this, she glanced at Chris.
“I don’t stop Chris from drinking. Although drinking is bad for health, it is unavoidable since the men have many business meetings to attend.”
Sienna’s voice was gentle and her words were neither fast nor slow, giving the impression that she was cultured and refined.
Freya didn’t respond and simply flipped the glass over.
“His injury isn’t completely healed yet.”
While holding the wine bottle, Sienna paused for a moment. She smiled without saying anything else, but it was obvious how she felt.
She secretly compared herself to Freya, thinking that she was very understanding and must have left a deep impression on Radley.

When Freya flipped the glass over, Radley’s cold gaze softened a little and smiled faintly.
He continued to talk about business with Chris, but his eyes were always on Freya.
Radley stopped drinking, and Chris followed suit by pouring his own wine to reduce his consumption.
Soon, the waiter brought in some ice cream.
Freya had not eaten anything cold for a long time, but as soon as she picked up the ice cream, Radley’s gaze fell on her, his voice flat.
“Don’t eat that.”
“Eating one won’t hurt.” Freya wanted to argue.
Sienna watched their exchange anxiously. She had been here all day and still hadn’t talked to Radley for more than a few words!
Her eyes sparkled as she smiled and asked, “I can see that Mr. Monaghan really cares about Miss Kaufmann. I’m curious, are you two a couple?”
The atmosphere became awkward as neither Radley nor Freya spoke, both ignoring her.
Chris smiled and said, “They are business partners now. Don’t ask so many questions. Pour me some wine.”
Sienna didn’t know what she had said wrong and turned to pour Chris a glass of wine.
After pouring for Chris, she filled an empty glass on the table and placed it in front of Radley.
Freya’s eyebrows furrowed instantly. Does she not understand human language?
Sienna poured the wine as if she was being considerate. She stood up and smiled sheepishly. “A little bit of wine won’t hurt.”
Both Chris and Freya’s expressions darkened.
Radley took a look at the wine glass with the golden hues of wine swirling inside before placing it in front
of Chris
It was a little awkward at this point, so Sienna pretended not to know and sat down. After some time, Mikael returned from outside. Freya got up and gave him her seat.
Mikael pulled up a chair and sat down. “Stay there. I’ll sit over there.”
After more business talk, Radley’s brow furrowed slightly, and his face turned a little pale.
Freya had been secretly watching his condition, and her face became cold and hard.
“With your current condition, you should have just stayed at home to recover. Her voice was cold and her tone was grouchy.
Radley’s eyes grew more vibrant. I’m fine. I’m fully recovered.”
Radley and Chris eventually came to an end in their discussion of the current events in Caltun.
Following that, Chris suggested a quick game of dice.
Sienna volunteered and brought the dice cup over, smiling playfully.
“Since we’re playing this, we should bet on something to make it more interesting, right?”
No one objected, and Mikael smiled faintly. “Alright, you decide.”
Sienna looked around. “It wouldn’t be fun if we bet on money. How about we play truth or dare?”
She looked at Chris. “What do you think, Chris?”
Chris was annoyed by Sienna’s antics. If it weren’t for Freya still being here, he would have kicked her out already.
As one of Vroria’s well-known playboys, Chris was very aware of women’s subtle tricks and games. He leaned back slightly and lounged on the couch.

Since both of them agreed, Sienna smiled at Radley and Freya. “Okay, majority wins!”
Sienna lost to Mikael in no time. Mikael was meticulous and cunning, and he asked with a smile. “How did Miss Sienna and Chris know each other?”
