Chapter 148 Can’t Avoid It Anymore
Freya was taken aback by the appearance of Heartless Scoundrel, who appeared to be around 18 or 19 years old.
“Heartless Scoundrel didn’t get someone to pretend to be him to fool us, did he?” Freya said.
The teenager glared at her. “Do I look like that kind of person?”
They had heard the voice of the Heartless Scoundrel in the group chat before, and it was indeed him. His youthful face did not match the magnetic, mature quality of his voice.
Freya was amazed. “Scoundrel, how old are you exactly?”
Heartless Scoundrel snorted. “My name is Landon Johnson, from Capitael. I am 28 years old. You got any problem?”
Brisa stared at him in surprise. “Nothing! Just incredibly jealous of you!”
Although most of the four people had just met, they got along well because they had known each other online for many years.
Jakob was the most excited because he admired the four administrators of The Green Flamation forum.

After a meal, Heartless Scoundrel and Ink stared at Freya’s belly.

Heartless Scoundrel smirked in response.

He had many advantages in carrying out his missions precisely because of his appearance, which he could hide behind.
The four of them spent the afternoon in the courtyard. After a few rounds of fighting between Heartless Scoundrel and Ink, they moved inside and started playing poker.
Freya casually asked, “Ink, what did you come to Caltun for?”
With a card in hand, he said, “I came for your matter.”
Since he had learned that Freya was being hunted down, he had been quietly investigating the people who wanted to harm Freya.

At 8 o’clock in the evening, Inken and Landon left. The Callahan family had a villa by the sea in Caltun, and Jakob followed them eagerly.

“What now? You’re not going to come?” Chris‘ voice was a little hesitant.
“Fine, I’ll be there on time tomorrow night.” Freya sighed.
Since the last time she had dinner with Radley at the Smalzot Yard, Freya felt that she was focusing too much on him.
She had been avoiding him recently, even choosing to visit the Monaghan Residence when he was not there.
Chris wanted to gather at Trinity Club, and Radley, as his good friend, was likely to be there too.

The woman then looked at Chris and asked, “Who is this, Chris?”
Chris smiled and said, “She’s my sister! Not biologically, but she’s like a sister to me.”
Freya felt embarrassed by Chris’s introduction.
The woman glanced at Freya and understood the situation. If she was a daughter of a wealthy family. Chris would have introduced her as such. The fact that Chris said that Freya was like a sister must mean that she had no higher status.
The woman raised her head arrogantly and introduced herself. “Hello, I am Chris‘ girlfriend. My name is
Sienna.”
At this time, Freya glanced at Chris. A new girlfriend?!
But she still smiled and shook hands with Sienna. “I’m Freya Kaufmann.”
