Wedding Chapter 60 Chaos At The Wedding
When he heard the familiar voice, Carter stopped putting on the ring and turned to look behind
him.
Beside him, Vivien also looked toward the door. Her eyes went wide as she recognized the woman standing before her.
“W–what…” she stuttered.
Julia Watson.
She really came.
Meanwhile, Carter’s eyes widened in surprise, his mind racing with mixed emotions. He had never expected Julia to show up.
Why was she there? What did she want?
Carter couldn’t wrap his mind around the thought as he tried to calm the nerves surging in his skin. After all, most of their guests attended his wedding a month ago and had seen Julia. They knew that she was Carter’s former fiancée.
“It’s getting interesting now!” someone said from the crowd.
Carter’s heart pounded in his chest as he watched Julia approach him. The whispers and murmurs from the crowd grew louder, intensifying the tension in the air.
On the other hand, Julia walked carefully toward Carter and Vivien.
She wore a confident smile, and her eyes locked with Carter’s. As she reached them, the atmosphere seemed to hold its breath, waiting for what would unfold next. Everyone’s eyes were fixed, looking forward to the drama that would unfold.
“You don’t think this wedding will end for no reason again, do you?” Another guest commented.
At that moment, people in the crowd started whispering to each other. Speculation and theories filled the room as they tried deciphering Julia’s cryptic words. As everyone waited eagerly for Julia to say what she would say next, the tension in the room grew.
“Most likely, it won’t, right? Carter and Vivien’s love is real. They’ve worked hard to be together. How could they be destroyed so easily?” The other guest contested.
Quickly, another voice remarked, “You never know. Carter and Julia grew up together, and I even heard that Julia once saved Carter!”
The crowd became silent after that.
Just then, Julia stopped and smiled at Carter and Vivien. As she looked at them, she said, “Congratulations! I’m so happy that you’re finally a couple!”
Hearing Julia’s sarcastic remarks, Carter’s face turned dark. “What are you doing here, Julia? You’re not invited! Get out, or I’ll have someone throw you out!”
“Carter, that’s quite rude, isn’t it? I ran over here to congratulate you and Vivien. Also, I just gave you my wedding gift, and now you want me to leave?” Julia looked at Carter indifferently.
However, Carter didn’t believe that Julia came with good intentions. He thought she must be after something else.

She was after him.
Shortly afterward, Lilian, Carter’s mom, came over with a furious expression and started cursing at Julia. “Julia! Just how low can you stoop? What sins did my family commit to upset you? It’s hard to believe that someone is as evil and vicious as you are still alive. Why don’t you just give up and die already?”
Outside the hotel, Jared was holding a notebook and watching the scene on the screen. The car’s inside temperature was now several tens of degrees below zero. As Joseph stared attentively at Jared, his face was as gloomy as a thundercloud.
After witnessing the scene and hearing Lilian’s curses directed at Julia, he understood why Jared wore such a serious expression.
“What? Sins?” Julia sneered. She was smiling, but her lips didn’t reach her eyes, scaring everyone in the room.
“Your family’s virtuous, Lilian. Your son would have been long dead if I hadn’t jumped into the river to save him. Not only are you ungrateful, but you also curse me, label me as malicious, and wish for me to die. Is this your way to repay kindness with hatred, or just how you’re brought up?” Julia’s words caused more whispers among the guests. Many thought that the Ross family had too far.
Lilian felt like hitting someone after hearing the chatter in the crowd.

“Did I say something wrong by calling you malicious? A few months ago, I only scolded you a few times, and you pushed me into the pool. You would have killed me if Vivien hadn’t come in time and risked her life to save me.”
“What? That happened too?” a voice from the guests asked.
The crowd was taken aback, and their eyes grew cold one by one as they stared in disbelief at Julia. Meanwhile, Lilian was thrilled with how the guests reacted.
Joining her, Vivien was secretly pleased, her face defiant as she looked at Julia. Back then, Julia would lose it and start yelling and acting irrationally whenever she gave her that look. Conversely. Julia looked at Vivien and gave her a snide smile when she tried to provoke her.
Because of that, Vivien was surprised and confused for a moment. “What?”
“Is there anything else you want to say?” As Lilian looked at Julia, her anger grew. She vowed that she would never let someone like Julia marry her son.
“There’s nothing to say. I’ve already told you everything. I didn’t push her! I can’t be blamed for something I didn’t do.” Julia thought of the incident when Vivien fell into the water.
She was there when Vivien pushed Lilian into the pool. In the end, Julia was blamed for pushing Lilian; she suffered and sought to explain the situation to Carter, but he still didn’t believe her. Carter eventually swept her impatiently into the pool.

Even though she knew how to swim, the situation happened so quickly that she swallowed a mouthful of water when she fell into the water and lost her
memory.
When she regained consciousness, she found herself in the hospital. At first, she was relieved, thinking that Carter had saved her, indicating he still cared. But it wasn’t Carter who pulled her out of the water.
“Liar!” Lilian shook her head in disbelief. “You pushed my son into the water and pretended to rescue him!”
Julia saw Carter’s suspicious gaze and laughed at Lilian’s words. “It’s ridiculous. I was only eight years old then. Do you think an eight–year–old child could do that?”
“That shows how rotten you were even when you were young! Your mother died too soon, so no one taught you how to be polite!” Lilian sneered, her words becoming more hurtful.
“You heartless bitch!” Julia’s menacing stare scared Lilian to the point of recoiling.
“What are you going to do? Hit me?” Lilian stammered.
“Apologize.” Julia’s lips parted in a cold demand.
However, Lilian didn’t back down. Facing her confidently, she said, “No! I’m only speaking the truth. Your mother died early, and that’s-”
“How dare you include my mom!” Julia’s hand hit Lilian’s cheek, making her stumble back.
Fortunately, Carter caught her just in time to keep her from falling. Carter’s eyes blazed with anger as he confronted Julia. “That was uncalled for, Julia!”
Julia’s face flushed with anger as she glared at Carter but remained silent. In the meantime, Lilian regained her composure and stood tall, refusing to let Julia’s words or actions intimidate her any further.
As she clutched her swelling face, she shouted. “And how dare you hit me?”

In a cold retort, Julia said, “I hit you because of your foul mouth!”
People watched as Lilian’s already red–faced face turned even more angry.
“Carter, you see what this girl did to me? Do you believe me now? She’s rude and disrespectful! She’s not good for you, son!” Lilian cried.
“Disrespectful? Lilian, may I remind you that I have nothing to do with you or your family anymore? Don’t you dare use that word toward me again!” Julia said it emotionlessly.
Then and there, Carter reached his limit, yelling at Julia, “Apologize to my mother and leave! Or else, don’t blame me for being rude!”
As Carter’s threat fell on the room, a dozen bodyguards appeared. On the other side, Jared watched the scene and saw Carter’s face on the screen, as if he were looking at a dead man.
Joseph then asked, “Boss, should I lead the charge?”
“Not yet. Wait a little longer,” Jared said. He wanted to rush in, but he chose to wait when Julia wasn’t worried. Julia looked at the dozen guys and then turned her attention back to Carter. “I told you I came with a present. After I hand over the present, I’m out of here.”
“What are you planning to do, Julia?” Carter shouted.
“You’ll soon find out.” As she spoke, Julia looked at the big screen.
Carter looked confused when the TV, showing him happy memories with Vivien, suddenly switched to a video of his and Julie’s wedding day a month before. Right on the screen, Vivien showed up just as Julia and Carter were about to exchange rings.
With tears streaming down her face, she told Carter she was pregnant.
The second after her interruption, chaos ensued in the room. Finally, it was the moment of truth.
On the screen, Julia walked toward Vivien with angry eyes, but before Julia could do anything, Vivien suddenly stumbled backward and fell to the ground.

The entire room went into shock.
However, the spectacle wasn’t over. In slow motion, everyone saw Vivien secretly puncture a blood packet from her pockets before she collapsed to the floor.
