Chapter 277 Jared Suspects That She is Not the Real Julia
Is it truly the case? Only Julia possesses the answer to that question. Hence, what they currently engage in is
in is pure speculation.
Maddie hurriedly approached Julia, her excitement apparent. “Julia! You’re amazing! I consider
like a sister! I confide in you all the time, yet you kept this hidden from me – that you’re skilled at shooting. Do you still see me as your sister, your close friend?”

Julia scratched her neck thoughtfully. “It’s not that big a deal, Maddie. I simply visit the shooting range to practice and unwind when I have some free time.”
Unwind? What kind of stress was she referring to? Could it be because of Carter?
Maddie allowed her imagination to run wild, contemplating whether Julia had experienced immense frustration during her time with the Ross family. Julia had a reserved personality, unable to express herself freely. Even if she had been mistreated by Carter and Vivien, she might have bottled it up inside for a long time.
After enduring this suppression for an extended period, Julia might have reached a breaking point, secretly retreating to the shooting range to vent her emotions through marksmanship. “Well…” Maddie thought her theory had some merit.
As Maddie pondered this, Jared observed Julia with a calm demeanor.
He was more aware than Maddie about Julia’s shooting abilities. According to Joseph’s
investigation, there was no record of Julia ever visiting a shooting range.
While there could have been an oversight or two in the investigation, considering Julia’s
remarkable shooting skills, it was likely she frequented such places.
Jared scrutinized the girl before him, her eyes as deep as the sea, and her furrowed brow akin to a mountain shrouded in mist.
What was happening to her?
Was she truly Julia?
If not Julia, then who was she?
“Jared, look! The sun is about to set, but the countryside’s sunset is still breathtaking.”
Julia’s sudden voice broke Jared’s reverie.
Jared followed Julia’s gesture, his gaze traveling to the western horizon. The sun was descending, forming a canvas of clouds, and the earth was draped in the soft, golden hues of a countryside
sunset.
After a few seconds, Jared withdrew his gaze and turned to look at Julia beside him.
The girl possessed a striking countenance, her smile radiating a charm so extraordinary it felt unearthly.
He let out a soft sigh, feeling the weight in his heart dissipate in this moment. There was no need to dwell on the earlier question.
Regardless of Julia’s true identity, she was here, a living and tangible presence.
She was his wife.
He and Jared were destined to grow old together.
That was enough.

As night fell, the suburban surroundings stood in stark contrast to the bustling city, now hushed and tranquil.
Around eight or nine o’clock, everyone readied themselves for slumber.
Cameron’s tent was conveniently located next to Jared’s.
Deliberately donning a pure white nightgown, Cameron approached Jared’s tent.
“Jared, everyone is preparing to set off fireworks. Why don’t you join us to watch?”
In response, she heard a cold and indifferent voice emanating from within the tent.
“No interest, feel free to enjoy it without me.”
Cameron’s face contorted into an expression of disappointment and frustration upon hearing this.
Meanwhile, conversations emanated from Jared’s tent.
“Setting off fireworks? I enjoy that. I’d like to go,” declared none other than Julia.
Julia! Shamelessly sharing a bed with Jared! Cameron clenched her teeth and silently cursed. Then, a man’s voice followed.
“I’ll go with you.”
“No, didn’t you say you weren’t interested in fireworks? Just stay here. I’ll return once I’m done.” “I may not be keen on fireworks, but I am interested in sharing that moment with you.”
