The moment Julia caught sight of Jared’s expression, she sensed he was elated about something. Jared came beside Julia, his eyes tenderly locked on her, his smile seemingly perpetual. Julia’s ears turned scarlet, and felt the warmth of embarrassment under his unwavering gaze.
She had intentionally uttered those words to provoke Cameron and her group, but unfortunately, Jared arrived at just the right moment and heard them.

“Shall we?” Jared remarked, reaching out and grasping Julia’s wrist.
Julia wore a surprised look. “Go where? For what purpose?”
Jared smiled at Julia, deliberately infusing a seductive tone into his words.
“To the little woods.”
Jared’s voice, already resonant and deep, became even more alluring when lowered and slowed down, enticing enough to make anyone listening swoon on the spot.
At this very moment, all the girls, including Julia, were captivated by this sultry, deep voice. Once she regained her senses, Julia glanced at Cameron and the others, arching an eyebrow, thankful for her immunity to such temptations. Otherwise, she’d be as infatuated as these enamored girls.

“This is so shameless!” Madeline couldn’t help but express her support for Cameron.
Cameron appeared on the verge of tears, evoking sympathy and sorrow in others.
“Cameron, don’t worry. Let’s go, we’ll follow them. I want to see if Julia, that shameless woman, dares to flirt with Jared in front of us!” Madeline declared indignantly.
“Let it go, they… I’m just an outsider…” Cameron wore a bitter expression, feeling stifled.
Witnessing Cameron in this state not only fueled Madeline’s indignation but also that of others like Elora, who were eager to advocate for her.
“Let’s go, let’s head over there!”
The
group of individuals marched resolutely toward the small forest.
Meanwhile, Julia found herself pressed against a tree by Jared.
“What are you up to? Why so forceful?” Julia’s eyes widened, tinged with a trace of wariness.
She wondered, is this guy for real? This is the wild outdoors. Even if it’s not densely populated, it doesn’t mean someone won’t come by later!

“What? Did I hurt you?” Jared looked at Julia while reaching into her clothing, giving her a massage as he spoke.

“Have you no shame?!” Julia attempted to push the man’s arm, but he showed no intention of withdrawing and remained steadfast.
Julia let out a sigh, pursing her lips. She looked up at the man, but before she could say anything, he beat her to it.
“I have no shame? Just a little while ago, I heard someone saying we were a perfect match. Huh?” Jared teased, a trace of amusement dancing in his handsome features.
Julia blinked, employing her talent for feigning ignorance. “Really? I had no idea. Eh? Who could have said that?”
Hearing her play innocently and seeing her act with such skill, a helpless expression crossed Jared’s face. Every time this young woman acted mischievously, she excelled at it. Regrettably, there wasn’t much he could do about this playful young lady.
Or rather, he did have a way.
Thinking of this, a smirk crept onto Jared’s lips, a hint of mischievous desire glinting in his “Since you won’t confess, I’ll have to make you confess.”

His eyes were intoxicated, drowning in the hazy autumn water reflected in her blurred, starry eyes, which seemed to overflow more and more.
His chest suddenly surged!
Jared couldn’t hold back anymore. Both of his hands ventured further.
“Where is he going?!”
Julia jerked suddenly, her eyes widening instantly. She forcefully pushed the man’s shoulders, but unfortunately, as she pushed, her foot caught on a large tree root jutting from the ground. Losing her balance and stumbling forward, she ended up falling into the man’s chest.
Instinctively, Julia reached out and clutched the man’s slender waist.
In the past, a fall might not have been a big deal, but she had three babies in her belly now–she
couldn’t afford to be careless.
“I can’t believe this! Shameless!” Madeline exclaimed upon witnessing the scene.
At this moment, Julia’s face was nestled against the man’s chest, and from a distance, it might have appeared as if she was seeking something.
Cameron clenched her fist, flames seemingly shooting out of her eyes as she glared at Julia.

“Today, I’ve truly seen it. No wonder Cameron is treated so miserably. Turns out this woman has no shame.”
“Exactly, in broad daylight, in a small grove… tsk tsk. She dares to do it, and I’m not even comfortable talking about it.”
Numerous comments were exchanged, each more derogatory than the last.
Jared’s eyes were half–lidded, and his icy gaze flickered over the individuals who had just made those comments.
Revised: Internally, Henry clicked his tongue disapprovingly. These individuals couldn’t see how much Jared adored his wife. Insulting Julia in front of Jared, they were truly asking for trouble! Hearing the offensive remarks, Julia placed her hand on the man’s shoulder, using it to rise to her feet.
“My husband and I share affection. What’s it to you? Got nothing better to do?” she retorted. “You have no shame!” Madeline angrily pointed at Julia.
Julia raised a delicate eyebrow and fired back, “Oh? North Jingxiao and I are married. We have a legal bond. What’s wrong with a hug and a kiss? Haven’t your parents ever shown affection? Where do you think
think you came from?”
“You, you-” Madeline was momentarily left speechless by Julia’s words. She glanced at Cameron before continuing her earlier accusations.
“You’re the shameless one! Jared belongs to Cameron. They are a match made in heaven, while you’re just a third party meddling in their relationship!”
Julia let out a sarcastic “heh” and laughed.
“What’s amusing?” Madeline demanded.
“What do you think? Your words are entertaining. I just mentioned Jared and I are legally married. You call me a third party. Are you disrespecting the law or something?
And Jared and Cameron being a match made in heaven, with me as a meddler? Are you assuming others are fools? Before I appeared, Jared and Cameron were just ordinary friends.
Don’t tell me, deep down, Jared actually likes Cameron.”
“No,” Jared firmly held Julia’s shoulders. He gazed at her with eyes filled with deep affection and determination as if he were beholding the whole world.
