Chapter 247: Swimsuit Trouble
Of course! The guy was no other than Jared. Julia thought she must have been just seeing things, but reality made her have trouble breathing. Why wouldn’t she? Jared looked exactly like in the photo he sent, but hotter, sporting nothing more than swim trunks.
Seeing the photo was one thing. Seeing him in person, emerging from the pool with all that splash of water, his potent masculinity was so captivating it made her heart race and drool. Nymphs were typically used to refer to women, but at this moment, it seemed tailor–made for Jared. He was just that extraordinary and ethereal. He could be just Poseidon himself!
With a face that could rival the heavens and a seductive, well–built physique, Julia suddenly questioned her decision to come here. What if she couldn’t keep herself in check?
Girl! Go get yourself some Greek God!
“Hey, you made it?” Jared greeted Julia with a smile, clearly in high spirits.
Water trickled down his forehead as his gaze held a newfound, eager interest, traveling from her collarbone to her ample chest. Julia was admiring him the same.
After a momentary distraction, Julia swiftly regained her composure, averting her eyes as she consciously avoided ogling the man’s physique.
“I’m going to change into my swimsuit. Is there a changing room around?” she asked.
“Right here, and I’ve got one ready for you,” Jared replied. His gaze briefly lingered on Julia’s impressive figure.
For some inexplicable reason, he felt a little more excited than usual.
“Okay, I’ll
go check it out,” Julia replied casually, heading toward the changing room.
Julia had brought along her own swimsuit, a somewhat casual purchase from a roadside stall. It didn’t particularly excite her or disappoint – it was just your average swimwear.
Since Jared had thoughtfully prepared one for her, Julia figured she might as well see if there was a style in his collection that caught her fancy.
As she stepped into the changing room and laid eyes on nearly a hundred swimsuits hanging there, her mouth quirked into a wry smile.
What struck her wasn’t the sheer number of swimsuits Jared had prepared, but rather their styles – they were incredibly revealing and seductive, bordering on excessively sexy.
Julia pulled a white swimsuit from the rack and remarked, “Three strings total.” She couldn’t help but imagine that wearing something like this in public would likely attract Jared’s undivided, hungry attention.
After a slight shudder, she rubbed her goosebumps and gently placed the swimsuit back on the hanger. She then opted for a one–piece swimming skirt, though even this choice proved quite translucent, revealing the ridges of her own fingertips.
There were even more daring styles than this one in the collection. Julia couldn’t fathom where Jared had discovered such provocative swimwear.
She eventually decided, “You know what? I’ll just stick with my own.”
Julia retrieved the swimsuit she had bought hastily from her bag. She bought it in a hurry from a small roadside shop – affordable, yes, but not the finest quality, to the least.

Julia came out of the fitting room after changing into her swimsuit. As she stepped out, she couldn’t help but notice that Jared’s gaze immediately locked onto her.
Seeing his reaction deepened Julia’s suspicions. With the sheer number of provocative outfits he had prepared for her, it was pretty clear what he had in mind. Well, he was in for a letdown this. time.
“Why aren’t you wearing what I picked out for you?” Jared asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice. He had been wondering which outfit Julia would choose, and her conservative choice had taken him by surprise. Nevertheless, he couldn’t help but appreciate the sight, considering his wife had an enviable figure.
“If I wore what you’d prepared, I might as well have gone au naturel,” Julia shot him a meaningful look, making her stance crystal clear.
“You’re free to choose not to wear them,” Jared replied, unfazed.
Ignoring him, she made her way towards the water for a swim.
Julia had barely dipped her toes in the pool when she spotted the man swimming toward her. He stretched out his arms playfully, saying, “I’ll catch you.”
He was practically undressed, and even though she was wearing a relatively conservative swimsuit, it still revealed more skin than regular clothing. Given the situation, an accidental touch could easily escalate things.
“No need, I’ve got it-” Julia’s words were cut off as she lost her footing and tumbled toward the
man.
Jared was prepared and caught Julia, holding her securely.
Her face smacked into his chest, and it stung a bit.
When she opened her eyes, she realized her mouth had landed in an awkward place. Compared to the slight pain in her face, her cheeks burned even hotter.
At that moment, the man’s voice, dripping with seduction, filled the air above her. “Women, they say one thing but mean another. You say you don’t want it with your mouth, but your body tells a different story.”
“You’re the one! I didn’t-” Julia began to protest when she heard something rip.
Her
eyes widened instantly. She glanced down at herself and saw that one of her shoulder straps had snapped and slid downward.
‘Damn it!‘ Julia cursed in her mind.
This outfit’s quality was even worse than she had thought! She’d definitely be visiting that store later to demand an explanation!
Fortunately, she had a decent figure, which allowed her to keep things somewhat in check. Otherwise, she might have been fully exposed.
However, even without complete exposure, the situation was enough to make Jared’s breathing go wild.
“Don’t look!” Julia quickly moved her hands to cover herself, but in her hurry, the other shoulder strap also gave way.
Julia clenched her teeth in frustration. The store that sold her this outfit was utterly unscrupulous! Thankfully, there was only Jared around. If this had happened at a crowded public

As Julia fumed about the situation, she suddenly heard Jared’s voice, low and barely contained.
“Remember. You forced me.”
Jared didn’t bother waiting for Julia to argue back. He swiftly grabbed the hand covering her and lifted it over her head.
‘Oh no!‘
Julia crouched down in the water on a reflex, attempting to shield herself. But before she knew it, Jared had scooped her up, making a huge splash in the pool.
Her heart raced, and she couldn’t tell if it was from anger or embarrassment. Acting on instinct, she extended her foot to kick the man. She was quick, but the man’s reflexes were no slouch either. He used his thigh to pin Julia’s leg down.
With one leg trapped, Julia wobbled unsteadily on one foot and staggered backward. The man’s large palm slipped around Julia’s waist, providing support from behind.
His hand was remarkably large, effortlessly gripping Julia’s waist with room to spare. She felt like a fish on a chopping board – her mouth covered by the man, her waist firmly held, and her leg squeezed between his muscular thigh.
The entire pool area seemed to have fallen into an odd kind of silence – not absolute quiet, but a peculiar hush that permeated the space.
Julia was overwhelmed and disoriented, her thoughts in turmoil. When she finally regained her senses, she realized that, at some point, she had been carried to the edge of the pool.
Jared held her firmly as if gearing up for a profound discussion about life.
But what kind of life?!
