Chapter 244: Jared is the Cowherd
Mr. Walker was taken aback when Philip identified himself as Julia’s father. He had heard about the recent turmoil involving Julia and her family, making him all too aware of the situation.
“Are you truly Miss Watson’s father?” Mr. Walker sought confirmation, a note of surprise in his
voice.
“I am indeed Julia’s biological father, Philip, the general manager of Watson’s Enterprise. And you are the owner of this villa, correct?” Philip confirmed his tone stern.
Before Mr. Walker could respond, Philip launched into an unexpected tirade. “I’ve come to inform
that Julia is a rebellious, disgraceful creature. Her behavior is deplorable, and she has repeatedly defied my biological father. She is a disgrace!”

Mr. Walker frowned a hint of displeasure in his eyes. Everyone in this circle knew how devoted Mr. Brooks was to his wife. To offend him was one thing, but to speak ill of Julia, his daughter was another matter entirely.
“In my opinion,” Philip continued, “you are unworthy of Miss Watson’s respect. You are old, disrespectful, and hardly deserving of the title of a father.”
Philip’s words hung in the air, his eyes wide with anticipation. He had hoped that his statement would at least make Mr. Walker question Julia’s character to some extent. However, the response he received was not what he expected.
Philip observed Mr. Walker carefully, realizing that he was a unique figure in Monroe City’s elite social circles. He suspected that Mr. Walker might be from another city, possibly visiting the area
for leisure.
Regardless of Mr. Walker’s background, Philip’s primary goal was to convince him to eject Julia from the villa.
“People outside Monroe City don’t know the full details of this situation, and I won’t go into them. now,” Philip continued, “but I must inform you of one more thing–Julia is keeping a shepherd!” Mr. Walker was left bewildered. Julia, his wife, was keeping a shepherd? Could this be true?
“What?” Mr. Walker exclaimed, unable to grasp the situation fully.
Philip reiterated, “It’s true! In our family, you’ve witnessed her kissing that man in my presence more than once. I’m ashamed to have a daughter like her!” Philip declared, a mix of shame and indignation clouding his face.
Mr. Walker carefully considered the situation and concluded that this matter was beyond his capability to handle. He needed to locate Jared promptly.
Philip’s family observed Mr. Walker’s serious demeanor as he returned inside, assuming that he had gone to confront Julia. They showed no haste in leaving, instead patiently awaiting Julia’s recognition.
Philip, in particular, was eager to witness the humiliation of Julia being recognized. This Tebellious daughter had previously ousted him from his position at J&C Limited, making him a laughingstock in their social circle. He couldn’t let go of this resentment.
Mr. Walker recounted the events to Jared, stating, “Mr. Brooks, that’s what happened. Mr. Watson claimed that Madam was keeping a shepherd.”
As Mr. Walker finished, he hesitated to look at Jared, bracing for a potential outburst of fury. However, Jared responded calmly, “I understand. Just gather a few more people and escort them

all away.”
That was it? Mr. Walker blinked in disbelief. This was a serious matter – it involved alleged infidelity – and Jared’s reaction was surprisingly composed.
Jared noticed Mr. Walker lingering and glanced at him. “Aren’t you leaving yet?”
“Yes, certainly. I will go right away,” Mr. Walker hurriedly complied. He swiftly assembled a group of people and headed toward the gate.
“They’ve arrived!” Julia exclaimed.
“Where’s Julia? Why don’t we see her?” Nathalia peered behind Mr. Walker and his accompanying group but found no sign of Julia. She couldn’t comprehend why Philip had made such accusations. No man could easily accept being cheated on. Shouldn’t they be taking more aggressive actions, like confronting Julia and forcibly expelling her from the villa?
As they pondered these thoughts, Mr. Walker instructed his team, “Remove them. If they dare return in the future, I will personally break their legs!”
“Yes!” The group acknowledged and prepared to carry out Mr. Walker’s orders.
The sight of the powerful elites advancing on them struck terror into the hearts of Philip and his companions. They were ordinary individuals who couldn’t stand a chance against such formidable opponents.
“Why? Why are you attacking us? It is Julia who betrayed you, Julia!”
“Don’t let them leave! Attack!” Mr. Walker ordered once more.
The bodyguards surged forward with raised fists, but Philip ceased his protest, pivoted, and fled with his tail between his legs. Julia and Nathalia, white–faced and terrified, screamed as they quickly scrambled into their car, their embarrassment evident.
On the villa’s second floor, Julia leaned against the window, watching with a lazy smile. She had realized that the person who had followed her yesterday had been sent by Philip. Julia could deduce Philip’s motives – he sought to use her as leverage against her brother to further his own goals.
“How shameless!”
As Mr. Walker relayed Jared’s explanation, he couldn’t help but mumble to himself in astonishment, repeatedly questioning Philip’s audacity.
“What’s strange is, why doesn’t Mr. Brooks seem to care about what Philip said?” Mr. Walker pondered aloud.
As he finished speaking, Shiloh’s voice chimed in from behind him. “Because the ‘cowherd Philip mentioned is my brother.”
Mr. Walker was taken aback and turned to look at Shiloh. “Second Young Master, is what you’re saying true? Philip compared Mr. Brooks to a cow–cough cough, what exactly is happening?”
Shiloh nodded, turning to the door with a mischievous grin. “I wonder what wicked deeds Julia committed in his previous life to be saddled with such a ruthless father who devours people without spitting out their bones.”
Mr. Walker, a bit older than Philip and a father himself, shared a strong bond with his daughter. Observing Julia, he couldn’t help but feel sympathy.
“Poor child.”
After returning home, Philip fell seriously ill due to extreme anger. Julia and Nathalia were

overwhelmed by the failure of their plan to seize the company and the villa. The entire Watson Family fell into a state of desolation that lasted for more than ten days.
In Villa 8 of Purple Garden Manor, Conrad inquired, “Dad went to Benison Villa to look for you?”
Julia nodded, “He initially intended to sow discord but was eventually kicked out by Jared.”
Conrad sighed, his heart heavy with the realization of what kind of father they had. Julia couldn’t help but feel sympathetic.
“Alright, brother, let’s stop dwelling on it. He is not worth the effort. Besides, you still have me,” Julia smiled at Conrad.
Conrad reached out and gently ruffled Julia’s hair, a look of affection in his eyes.
Just as the siblings shared a loving moment, a jarring voice interrupted them.
“Henry, are you sick? Do you have to barge in when I’m using the bathroom?”
