The trio huddled together as the message chimed in with a “Dip-,” accompanied by a flurry of photos. Their eyes widened in unison as they gazed at the opulence displayed before them. The villa before them was a masterpiece of opulence, its grandeur undeniable. The sprawling garden, replete with trimmed plants and assorted of flowers they could only recognize but cannot name, was a testament to extravagance. Through the intricately wrought iron gate, they glimpsed exotic flowers and plants of immense value, while a half–hidden fountain appeared so lifelike that it could have fooled anyone.
“What… is this?” Nathalia stammered, her tongue unable to keep up with her shock. “Is this the home of a top–tier wealthy family?”
“It must be,” Philip agreed, equally mystified. “How did Julia get access to this place? What’s her connection to the owner?”
Yasmin’s brow furrowed with a sudden realization. “I’m just speculating, but think about it. Julia has had constant help from someone all this time, and the internet is buzzing with rumors. She must have found some powerful backing, much stronger than our family.”
But who?
“It can’t be J&C Limited,” Yasmin continued, “because Julia’s transformation began before her involvement with J&C. So, she must have ingratiated herself with the owner of this villa.”
Philip nodded, understanding dawning on him. “So, you are saying Julia was taken care of by the villa’s owner?”
Yasmin nodded firmly, imagining an older, unattractive benefactor behind Julia’s newfound success. The thought brought her some satisfaction.
“That makes sense,” Nathalia chimed in. “Julia and her siblings could not possibly have funded J&C Limited on their own, nor could they have attracted a renowned doctor’s help. It all adds up. and it leads back to the villa’s owner.”
As they mulled over this revelation, Yasmin posed the question, “What should we do now? Do we still
go ahead and confront Julia? I doubt she will admit and tell the whole truth.”
After Yasmin’s question, Philip’s head throbbed in agony and ran his fingers through his hair in frustration as if trying to pluck a solution from thin air.
Nathalia’s hopeful expression faded into disappointment. She had been so sure today would bring her closer to the lavish Purple Garden Manor and her dream of owning J&C Limited. But in an instant, those budding hopes were mercilessly crushed. Her hopes of a swift takeover of Purple Garden Manor dimmed, realizing the enormity of the influential forces at play.

When Julia returned to the villa, Jared was still absent. Aunt Selina, armed with cleaning tools, made her way upstairs, ready to tend to her duties.
“Aunt Selina, hand me those tools. I will take care of it,” Julia offered.
Selina hesitated, her sense of duty conflicting with Julia’s insistence. “Madam, I can’t let you do this. It’s my job.”
Julia smiled gently. “Please, give them to me. I could use some light exercise. It’s not healthy for the baby if I just laze around.”
Pregnant though she was, Julia knew the importance of staying active within reasonable bounds.
“Very well, madam,” Selina relented, handing over the cleaning tools. “But I won’t trouble you with Shiloh’s room…”
Before Selina could finish, Shiloh, who had been eavesdropping, peeked out and caught Julia’s comment. He silently smirked at their dynamic.
In this household, it seemed that either they were dishing out romantic gestures, or they were playing the role of audience as the other did. There was no escaping it.
“Haha, I can handle my own room,” Shiloh replied and promptly shut the door, clearly preferring to stay out of this particular scenario.
Julia decided to start with Jared’s room, an environment that mirrored his fastidious daily routines. The room exuded an air of pristine organization, with not a speck of dust or a hint of disorder in sight. It was impeccably tidy, a reflection of Jared’s daily habits.
Notably, the wedding photos hanging beside the bed glistened as if freshly polished. Julia could not help but wonder if Jared meticulously wiped them several times a day. It was both endearing and astonishing.

Without a moment’s hesitation, she yanked open the drawer, her heart racing, and hurriedly began to dab at the drawer’s contents with a dry cloth, her mind racing to salvage what she could.
As Julia wiped away at the drawer’s contents, her eyes fell upon something wholly unexpected.
“This…” She stopped. “Is this a pregnancy test stick?”
