Chapter 241: Tailing Her
‘he next day, Julia went to work, clad in her pencil–gray corporate suit. She soon realized the resence of someone following behind her. She glanced back for a second, noticing two masked nen behind her. They cleverly disguised themselves as pedestrians, trailing her from a distance. nitially, she suspected they might be perverts with lewd intentions, but she realized they were ailing her because the moment she picked up her pace, the two followed suit.
This piqued her curiosity. ‘Why the fuck are they following me? On whose order?‘ she asked herself, brows furrowed in confusion.
Luckily, she spotted a traffic enforcer at the intersection. With eyes beaming, the corner of her nouth rose in excitement as she walked toward the officer. This better be interesting.”
Her actions didn’t escape the keen eyes of the two bodyguards of the Watsons. One of them mmediately panicked. “What‘ s she doing?”
They both stopped in their tracks and pondered. “I think she found out. Shit!” the same nervous nan exclaimed.
‘Easy, man! It’s impossible. I guess she just asked for directions,” the bolder man deduced.
The other man sighed in relief. “That makes sense. But let’s get out of here first.” Just earlier, when they received the order, they were confident they could do the job perfectly. However, their confidence was soon shattered when two traffic enforcers abruptly sprinted
oward them, triggering their instincts to retreat a couple of steps. This action made the traffic police instantly conclude that Julia’s claim was true and these two individuals indeed had malicious intentions.
‘Arrest them!” the traffic enforcer commanded to his fellow officer. Despite being big and robust, the bodyguards hesitated to confront the traffic police. Eventually, they were both pinned on the ground, their hands pulled behind them.
“What’s wrong, Officer? Why are you arresting us?” the scared bodyguard asked.
“Keep it down! The woman informed us that you two were tailing her!” the enforcer angrily responded.
Although crimes weren’t under the enforcers‘ control, they couldn’t just sit back and watch someone being stalked. That was why they could only subdue the offenders and call the officers. from a nearby station.
“We didn’t follow her! We don’t even know her!”
“You didn’t follow her, so why did you back off just now?” the younger officer questioned.
“We- we didn’t run!”
“Yes! We didn’t run away!”
“Enough! You‘ re both going to the station!” the senior enforcer interposed.
Soon, Philip received the news of his bodyguards‘ failure.
“Those idiots!” he roared furiously, his anger erupting once again.
Natalia reached out to her husband and patted his back to calm him down. “Okay. Don’t be mad. I have also deployed some of my men to tail her. Rest assured, we’ll have her today.” Natalia wanted Julia’s company more than Philip did, so she couldn’t afford to fail. She wanted to spend more lavishly than before. She wanted to shine the brightest among her peers. And that

would only be possible if they obtained J&C Limited. Thus, she had dedicated more effort and planned to capture Julia successfully.
“Really? That’s good to hear!” Philip grinned and stretched his arms around Natalia. “I’m truly blessed to have a wife like you.”
Natalia nestled in Philip‘ s embrace, her expression masking her cunning schemes.
As soon as office hours ended, Julia almost ran to her home, afraid that there might be some more men tailing her. But not long after, she slowed down. And then she sensed someone prying on her again.
‘For fuck’s sake! Let them come at me!”
Since she had a very exhausting day at work, she chose to ignore them, unwilling to squander her energy and time dealing with them. She stopped on the sidewalk and hailed a taxi.
There were another couple of bodyguards shadowing her. As soon as the cab drove off, they followed suit, updating Natalia with their every move.
“She just got into a cab. We‘ re following behind.”
“Good. Continue the pursuit and quickly strike when there’s a chance,” Natalia instructed from the other line.
“Understood, Ma‘ am.”
After Natalia ended the call, Yasmin contemplated for a moment. “Is she going to the Purple Garden Manor?”
Upon mentioning the manor, Natalia and Philip immediately recalled Julia and Conrad’s residence in Villa 8.
“Honey. Do you think they actually bought it?”
“Impossible!” Philip quickly dismissed. “Even if they have the means to buy that property, without the right connections, they can’t simply acquire one.”
Natalia frowned. “But–”
Before she could elaborate further, Philip‘ s eyes widened, springing up from his seat. They both exchanged astonished glances. At that moment, a name flashed through their minds.
“The miracle doctor!” Yasmin finally exclaimed.
The room momentarily fell silent after Yasmin uttered that name. If the Miracle Doctor intervened, who would dare defy their wishes?
“So they’ve bought it, huh?” Natalia wore an envious expression upon speaking. Even Philip couldn’t hide his jealousy.
“Those rascals! How dare they live and enjoy themselves there without thinking of us? Those ungrateful, spoiled brats. After I’ve raised them! All they do is provoke me!” Philip yelled in -fury.
“Calm down, Honey. Their luxury will end tonight because we‘ re taking Julia at all costs. Their company and their properties will soon be ours.” Natalia said, her excitement mounting.
The properties from Villa King were top–tier. That was the only dwelling befitting for someone like her. She couldn’t wait to flaunt it among her friends.

Julia quickly covered as she let out a sneeze. ‘Weird. Why do I keep sneezing? Is someone gossiping about me?‘
Sniffling, she got out of the cab and entered Villa Benison.
Meanwhile, the bodyguards who tailed her parked their car nearby. Their jaws dropped at the sprawling estate with exaggerated awe. Such beauty resembled that of a grand estate. However, the place was off–limits to them, so they couldn’t simply waltz in.
The men exchanged glances, unsure of what to do next. The taller one of the men decided to make a phone call to update their boss on their situation.

“What do you mean? It’s not the Purple Garden or the Villa 8? Then, where are you? And do mean what you said that it’s more grand than the Village King manors?” Natalia asked. Natalia was rendered speechless. Using the speakerphone for the conversation, Yasmin and Philip were now aware of the situation.
Philip quickly grabbed the phone from Natalia and spoke. “Which villa is it?”
“I’m sorry, Sir. We currently don’t know,” his man replied.
“Then what are you waiting for, you idiot? Take some pictures now!” Philip angrily commanded.
“Understood, Sir!”
