Chapter 230: The Scum’s Revenge
“What’s your problem, Karla?!” Julia reached out to support Maddie and forcibly pushed Karla
away.
Unprepared, Karla staggered several steps backward, her eyes brimming with a deadly desire to tear Maddie apart as soon as she regained balance.
“What’s my problem? She spoke ill of me, so I pushed her! What’s wrong with that?” Karla snapped.
Enraged, Maddie put her hands on her waist and retorted, “That’s not speaking ill, bitch! You did all those, and I just told the truth!”
“No, it’s all Julia’s fault!” Karla’s voice quivered with anger as she pointed an accusatory finger at Julia.
“She’s the one who stopped me from reconciling with Conrad – it’s all on her! If not for her interference, I would have been with Conrad long ago! Things would have been different if she hadn’t meddled!” she added.
“Oh, God! Don’t make me laugh, Karla.” Maddie was left momentarily stunned by Karla’s outburst. “Are you seriously blaming Julia? Was it Julia who belittled Conrad and broke up with him after they were kicked out? Was it Julia who pushed you to sell your body to Paul? And was it Julia who brought you here to do these disgraceful acts?”
Karla momentarily remained silent in the face of Maddie’s probing questions.
However, Karla’s ill situation didn’t end there. Julia jumped in to fan Maddie’s words. “Blaming me isn’t fair. Karla, wasn’t it you, back in college, who noticed that my brother was handsome and well–off, so you used various tactics to study his likes and dislikes, pretended to be sweet and considerate towards him, and eventually won his heart? Then you, being a gold digger, broke up with him when you found out we got kicked out of the Watson family, and his face got injured. You thought your ‘sugar daddy‘ was gone, and no one would give you expensive gifts anymore, so you left him. Then, when you saw my brother rise to become the CEO of J & C Limited and his face restored to its former glory, you thought he might forgive you. Did I get it right?”
Julia went on, and Maddie chimed in. “How shameless! You abandon your boyfriend when he’s down on his luck and come crawling back when he succeeds. You must think we’re naive, Karla, especially Conrad.”
“You, you-” Karla pointed angrily at Julia and Maddie, her voice trembling with rage. “Fine, you’re right! Call me a gold digger, but isn’t it natural to consider such factors when choosing a partner? If a man can’t provide for you financially, why should you treat him nicely? Now, is what I said wrong? No, I don’t think so!”
Karla’s expression turned fierce as she vehemently defended herself.
Julia shook her head in disbelief and sneered. “Fine, but don’t ever tell people I forced you into doing what you are doing because I did not! I mean, seriously? Hooking up with stinky older men? Can you even face yourself in the mirror?”
Karla immediately defended herself, saying, “He’s not some random stinky man, okay?! Paul is my fiancé, and we’re planning to get married soon. What’s wrong with an engaged couple sharing an intimate moment?”
Just as Karla finished speaking, Paul, the man she had mentioned, entered.

Chapter 230. The Scum’s Revenge
“Why did you take so long in the bathroom? Mr. Robinson and the others are growing impatient,”
he said.
“Mr. Robinson?” Karla asked, puzzled.
“Mr. Robinson is the CEO of a major company. He’s here tonight for entertainment, and you’ll keep him amused,” Paul replied.
Hearing that, Karla’s face burned with embarrassment, and she couldn’t bring herself to face Julia and Maddie.
She could vividly imagine their judgmental glances without even needing to turn around.
Paul, however, continued, “And also Mr. Lewis! Tonight, you’ll take good care of them. Whether our business with them succeeds or not depends on how well you perform tonight.”
“What?!” Karla’s face paled, and her eyes widened in shock.
“You want me to entertain Mr. Robinson and Mr. Lewis?!” she stammered.
“Yes! These two gentlemen are my close friends who’ve shared everything since childhood, even women. So don’t take this lightly; attend to them immediately.”
Karla found herself in an unprecedented and genuinely frightening situation, but just as her anxiety peaked, Julia’s voice emerged from behind, “Maddie, it’s not safe for us to be here. Let’s leave.”
“You’re right; let’s go,” Maddie agreed.
Embarrassed, Karla clenched her fists, her anger evident in her eyes, her temples throbbing.
She still insisted that Julia’s actions significantly affected her current predicament.
After a grueling night, Karla emerged from the private room battered and utterly exhausted. She was covered in bruises and looked disheveled beyond imagination.
As she stumbled out, a woman’s voice suddenly reached her ear. “Are you Karla?”
Karla gazed up at a woman who exuded elegance, dressed in luxurious attire that demanded
attention.
However, what truly caught her eye was the exclusive designer bag hanging from the woman’s wrist–a limited edition piece of incredible worth.
To Karla’s recollection, no more than ten of these bags existed worldwide. Owning such an accessory signaled an exceptional social status.
“May I ask who you are?” Karla lowered her head, displaying reverence, and inquired respectfully.
“You don’t have to worry about who I am. I want to ask you: Do you want to get back at Julia?” The woman, Cameron, said.
Karla looked at Cameron suspiciously and asked, “What do you mean by that?”
Then, her eyes got bigger. “Do you have a problem with Julia?”
“That’s not important. All you need to answer is if you want to have revenge or not.”
“I do!” Karla clenched her fists and snarled, “I’ve been wanting to do that! The reason I’m in this situation is all because of Julia!”
Karla could tell that Cameron had a falling out with Julia, and this high–status woman offered to help her get even. I
“But I’m not sure what to do,” Karla added.
Chapter 230: The Scum’s Revenge
“I’ve thought about it for you. All you have to do is get Julia to come here, then find some rough–looking guys; the uglier and nastier, the better. Give them some drugs and make sure the media finds out. Julia will be ruined, and people will treat her like a nobody.”
Cameron’s face showed a very mean look, thinking Julia’s life would fall apart if Jared saw the bad stuff about her.
“Okay, I’m in!” Karla couldn’t wait to see Julia’s life go downhill.
The following evening, Julia received a call from Karla. “Julia, come over right away. I need to talk to you.”
Julia hesitated briefly before responding, “It’s late at night; are you out of your mind? Do you think I’ll come just because you want me to?”
“If you don’t come, I’ll just talk to your best friend, Maddie, alone then.” Karla learned from Cameron that Julia was a tough nut to crack, so she resorted to this tactic.
“Leave Maddie alone. If anything happens to her, I’ll make sure you have nowhere to hide!” Julia said as she headed toward the entertainment club.
Along the way, Julia called Henry. She was worried Karla might have hired some people, so if things escalated and Maddie got hurt, Julia alone wouldn’t be able to handle the situation.
Twenty minutes later, Julia rushed into the private room where she had agreed to meet Karla.
As soon as she opened the door, her eyes were assaulted by a highly irritating spray.
