Chapter 224: My Stomach Hurts
He saw a shadow just now, but since it was too dark, he squinted his eyes to see things better. However, after looking for a long time, he couldn’t make
any figure.
“Was I just hearing and seeing things?” he mumbled. Little did he know, Julia was beneath the balcony, hiding herself under a tree with her heartbeat rising. Fortunately, she had moved the ladder in time. Otherwise, she would have been caught by Jared.
Julia watched Jaerd‘ s movement and waited for him to leave. Once he did, she immediately put the ladder against the bathroom window and climbed through. She was careful with her belly, though.
As soon as she made it inside the bathroom, she saw the doorknob turn.
‘What the heck? This man must’ve been suspicious all this time!‘ she thought and hurriedly took off all her clothes. She then ran straight under the shower, soaking her body with the running water. Her plan was only to wet herself and cover up with a towel, but Jared moved too swiftly. He busted open through the door and saw the salacious scene, finding himself frozen in spot. Julia’s face turned red, and just as she reached for the towel, Jared snapped out of it, too, and hurriedly slammed the door.

Julia was startled upon meeting his gaze. It turned out that he was closer than expected. ‘How shameless! Why doesn’t he just take a peek completely?!‘ she said to herself, heaving in annoyance.
“Okay.” Jared walked over to her closet and opened it to see several sets of nightwear. A rosy nightgown caught his attention, so he took it and scanned the fabric. It was made of lace and had a revealing neckline. It was sexy, and Julia would look so alluring wearing it.
‘Why does she even have this? Did she buy this for me?‘ Jared wondered, rightfully so. Thinking of this, he felt hot. He hemmed and walked back to the bathroom door, handing her the change of clothes. “Here you go…”
Upon realizing that he had brought this very sexy nightgown, Julia‘ s lips twitched. Maddie gave this to her, and she would never wear it if the former hadn’t suggested using such a tactic to seduce Jared. In the end, Julia couldn’t imagine wearing that. So, she said, “Change it.” After a few seconds of no one answering, Julia took a peek outside and didn’t see him there.
‘Did he go out?‘ she wondered and shook her head. She decided to wear the sexy nightgown for now and just get another one from the closet herself.
However, as she stepped out of the bathroom, she saw Jared standing by the balcony, looking at her with gleaming yet hungry eyes.
“Oh, so you‘ re here?!” Julia hissed, and Jared didn’t even bother looking away as he answered, “Yeah.” He scanned her body, and although she felt insulted by this, she could admit to herself that it kind of turned her on.

“You d–did that on purpose, didn’t you?” Julia muttered, breaking her words as the man approached her. Her eyes widened, and just then, Jared hugged her. “What are you doing?” Julia asked, panicking a little. However, he didn’t let go. He just scooped her over and laid her on the bed.
Things happened too fast, and the next thing Julia knew, she was already underneath him.
“Don’t blame me. It’s your fault for seducing me, baby.” His words caused her head to short–circuit. It felt as though she was losing all senses and slowly giving in to the man‘ s hungry

Jared smiled, saying, “You did it on purpose, though.”
“It’s a coincidence!” Julia shyly yelled, trying to push him away while avoiding his intense gaze. “Don’t move,” Jared whispered, holding Julia’s hands captive. “I want to see you clearly,” he added and pushed her hands above her head, exposing her body covered by the thin fabric. Julia was speechless. She isn’t dumb and knows that he’s taking advantage of this situation.
Julia looked down and saw how the clothing hugged her figure. Any man who sees her like this would go feral. The intricate design will make anyone wonder what’s beneath her, and Jared’s shaking lips are the evidence.
He gulped several times before leaning closer, finally tasting what belonged to him. “What the…” Julia muttered helplessly the moment she felt the beast taking over her body.
Jared’s lips latched against her neck, then, it slowly hovered just above her plump breast, and although Julia enjoyed the sensation, she couldn’t let this happen.
“No, I can’t, Jared. My stomach hurts…” Julia did her best to get away. She is three months pregnant, and having sex right now might put the baby in danger. They both know it. Jared paused and pulled away, meeting her gaze with sad eyes. “You‘ re lying,” he said.
