Chapter 135: Rectifying Vivien
“That’s it?”
Vivien rolled her eyes at Jessica at the side.
“Is it that bad, huh?” Vivien pretended to be scared stiff.
“That will be fine. Who will know we did it?” Jessica questioned her and smirked while
rubbernecking at her. “For now, we will wait and see the good show.”
Meanwhile, Maddie’s observant gaze turned away from the two and told Julia, “Just look at those two out there. They were gossiping about you. I don’t know what they discuss, but they feel quite uncomfortable. Hmm, that’s quite fishy.”
With eyebrows raised, Julia gave them a knowing look. Once Jessica and Vivien caught her eyeing them, they pretended they weren’t staring at her.
“Oh look, isn’t it weird?” Maddie felt their actions were peculiar.
“Duh, let them do whatever they want. It’s a waste of energy.” Julia didn’t focus her attention on the two. At the same time, the waiter came over and handed them the coffee and drinks they had ordered.
Julia held the coffee and was about to take a sip at it, but she saw Jessica and Vivien through her peripheral view; they were staring at her again.
Julia narrowed her eyes while her long and dense lashes concealed her through emotions deep within her. With a sigh, she placed the coffee on the table, raised her eyebrows, and smiled at Vivien and the other two.
Seeing Julia glance at them raced Vivien’s and Jessica’s hearts.
‘Quite strange. Why does she stop drinking? Did she notice something?‘
‘There’s no way!
Although they mixed a strong laxative on the coffee, its taste became weird, and people shouldn’t be able to drink it further.
As both had thought something in their minds, Julia, at the same time, stood from her seat and walked towards their table.
‘What is she doing?!”
“Oh Julia, what’s wrong with you?” Maddie asked, already doubting trouble would come. “Nah, don’t worry. I will drink it slowly and be right back….” Before Julia could continue, she accidentally tripped over both her feet, causing her to lose her balance, and fell toward Vivien. “Vivien! Be careful with the coffee!” Jessica yelled and gave a warning.
Upon seeing Julia fall, Vivien felt Julia had made it on purpose, aiming to splash her with coffee to vent her wrath. However, Vivien foresaw it to transpire, so she quickly moved, and the coffee didn’t spill on her.
Even if Julia didn’t make it, she still threw her down and crushed her to the ground.
“I’m so sorry!” Julia faked being concerned and got up from falling on Vivien’s body, yet she intentionally poked her abdomen several times with her fingers.
“AHH! It hurts!” Vivien yelled in agony, covering her stomach in discomfort.
Jessica was quick to lend a hand, urging her to move up. Her brows furrowed, and she asked in

concern, “Gosh! Are you okay? You want me to take you to the hospital?”
As Vivien stood, she held her abdomen and didn’t feel the unbearable pain. “It’s weird. It doesn’t hurt anymore.”
It was only a little unspeakable swelling.
“Are you sure it doesn’t hurt?” Jessica moved her gaze down to her stomach, then glanced at her face back. “So you’re okay now?” She was still worried.
Vivien rubbed her stomach once again, yet the pain faded out of the blue; only swelling remained, and it didn’t seem to hurt her.
With a nod, Vivien responded, “Yeah, it doesn’t hurt anymore.”
”
“That scared me to death!” Jessica breathed a sigh of relief and brought her gaze to Julia on the other side. She gritted her teeth, closed her fists, and roared angrily, “Did you hate Vivien for you to do that to her, huh?! No wonder Carter dumped you because no one can bear a vicious woman like you!”
Julia calmly stood and wasn’t affected by her words. “Well, let’s say Carter dumped me as he is blinded and couldn’t get mixed up with this matter. As for why I did not, it was because….”
A broad, creepy smile arose on her face, and it caused them to shiver down into their spines. She continued her words. “….it’s just an eye for an eye.”
Upon hearing that, Jessica and Vivien’s eyes broadened, not foreseeing her to tell that. Not only Julia’s words but also the way Julia shifted her gaze on the spilled coffee on the floor made them into a nervous wreck. They were caught off guard and felt Julia had seen something.
On the other hand, the waiter came, scanning his eyes on the floor. “Hi, may I know what’s happening here?”
“Nothing serious. I only fell in an accident.” Julia didn’t even apologize to the waiter. It was the same waiter who served her the coffee. And wouldn’t believe the waiter was innocent and had nothing to do with her coffee.
As she scanned the background of the cafe they were in, she found out Jessica’s aunt owned it. And speaking of her aunt, she used to throw hateful words at Julia in front of many people, even behind her back. She was like Jessica.
One reason Julia didn’t hesitate to tit for that to Vivien.
“By the way, please give me another drink,” said Julia, returning to her seat.
As soon as Julia settled, Maddie moved her face closer and inquired. Julia could only hear, “Don’t tell me you did that on purpose, do you?”
“Did you see it too?” Julia raised her eyebrows.
“It’s too obvious. Why can’t I?” Maddie replied. She frowned, “You can’t run to trouble Vivien because you never forget Carter, right?”
Instead of answering, Julia asked, “Do you think my husband now is worse than Carter?”
“How can that be possible?” Maddie leaned on her chair. “Carter’s appearance didn’t level on your husband. And he isn’t sincerely infatuated with your husband. Am I worried that you’re still the one who’s blind?”
Julia’s mouth twitched silently, pointing at her broadened eyes. “Now your eyes are widened and bright like my x–rays.”

“Come on!”
The two continued to chat and laughed loudly.
On the flip side, Jessica overthought something and looked at Vivien. “Do you think Julia knows about it?”
When Jessica asked, Vivien wanted to know too. “Like you, I don’t know either.”
“Not gonna lie, but that’s quite dangerous.” Jessica sighed. “At least you are quick to move. Otherwise, you would have been spilled with that bitch’s coffee!” Jessica’s gaze narrowed, and she continued “She’s arrogant and did that in broad daylight without hesitation!”
In the middle of their conversation, Vivien farted too loudly, making everyone’s attention from the cafe eyed Vivien.
“Fuck!” Maddie cursed, moving her attention to Vivien, who blushed with her eyes widened. “What the hell is she eating, and it’s too loud? I thought someone was setting off firecrackers!”
Meanwhile, Vivien aimed to look for a hole and hid in it. She couldn’t move her gaze up, realizing that all attention was centered on her.

Vivien’s fart wasn’t intentional–a loud one she wasn’t even prepared for. Although, in the public places, she could easily squeeze the fart, her fart right now was too irritating and caught her off guard.
“Yucks! It stinks!” Jessica, who sat opposite Vivien, covered her nose, wanting not to sniff that disgusting smell. Later, the smell filled the coffee shop.
“I can’t stay here any longer. Let’s move out as I’m almost suffocated-” Before Maddie could finish her words, a loud fart reverberated in each corner and was ten times louder than the first fart.
Vivien took sharts out of her control, it slowly flowed down and made her white skirt a mess.
The entire stench–filled cafe was filled with stillness. Not even a single movement was heard
around.
“Oh, God! I can’t take it anymore!” Amidst the silence, someone yelled while pressing his nose and rushed out.
Someone also resisted the urge to vomit and ran out of the cafe.
Julia stood, held Maddie’s hand, and both exited the coffee shop without hesitation.
As soon as Maddie stood outside the door, she stared at Vivien, who was still settled inside, with her eyes wide open, looking at those under her; she couldn’t help retching.
“Oh-”
Julia stood next to Maddie and patted her shoulder. “Hey, are you okay?”
“I am fine.” She cleared her throat and continued, “But maybe I won’t be able to eat for three more days.” She patted her chest and resisted the urge to vomit once more.
Inside, Jessica asked Vivien, “Why is it happening, Vivien? What the hell did eat?”

Still, outside, Maddie and Julia were together. Julia said, “Maybe heaven couldn’t stand it up anymore and clean her.”
There was a slight smile on her face.
Suddenly, Maddie sensed an unusual tone. There seemed to be something she wasn’t aware of.
“Tell me the truth. You are the one behind it, right?” Maddie asked, referring to what happened to Vivien.
Without uttering a word, Julia smiled, making her more mysterious, tantamount to admitting it.
Meanwhile, Vivien sprayed around the coffee shop. Although Jessica aimed to run like the other customers, she couldn’t leave Vivien in that situation.
“Vivien, are you fine now? Do you want me to call Carter and let him come over?”
