Chapter 136: Jared Comes to Vent Julia Personally
Jessica’s words stunned Vivien, and she felt uneasy.
“No, don’t do that. Don’t call him!” Vivien roared as she could, twisting her worried face and becoming unpleasant.
With what transpired to her, she couldn’t wait to hide herself with no one able to see her. And if Carter had caught her in that embarrassing situation, she couldn’t dare to imagine his wild reaction.
“Alright, I won’t make a call and ask him to come,” Jessica calmed her down. “Don’t worry, and please calm down.”
Right after Vivien worriedly yelled, her emotion moved downhill, with her depressing situation. Jessica said, “You go to the bathroom first, and I’ll look for clothes for you.”
Despite those strange gazes around Vivien, she endured it with the support of the table on the side. Although her body was muddy, she couldn’t sit on the chair forever without urging herself to get up.
‘Julia must have been done to make me like this. When she rushed over, she took the opportunity to drug my coffee,‘ Vivien thought and couldn’t help to pinpoint her as the person behind it all. ‘It must be her! Otherwise, how can she be so well…
As soon as Vivien reached the bathroom, she fought the urge to release again and only limped towards the bathroom.
Meanwhile, the waiters who hid came out after Vivien was already in the bathroom. They cleaned all the mess over the floor with their hands covering their nose.
“Damn!”
“Yucks!”
They even heard someone vomiting around and couldn’t withstand how disgusting it was. “Enough with that. Why are you vomiting?! Hurry and fix it and be quiet!” Jessica commanded. Afterward, she covered her nose and went out of the coffee shop as if she was fleeing away. Even the waiters who continued cleaning the mess said they wanted to die.
On the flip side, inside the office of the President of Brooks Corporation, Jared lent an ear to Joseph, who had told him about the situation inside the coffee shop.
“I think what happened to Vivien is caused by her,” Joseph said, referring to Julia. He added with words brimming with admiration toward Julia, “Madam deserves to be an apprentice of being a divine doctor. I won’t offend her, as she’s more powerful than anyone! If Madam happens to be displeased one day, I’d rather stay here. That way, I won’t have to go out and meet with others.” Joseph cleared his throat and fixated his eyes on Jared. “Boss, you have that kind of wife, and you must be careful then.”
Upon hearing that, Jared’s eyes moved up, staring at him back. “My wife, of course, has to confess about it. Do you even want to teach me?”
Joseph bid farewell silently without uttering a response, avoiding any attempts to set him someone. After all, Jared would be married soon.

Before Joseph lost sight of him, he halted what he was doing and stood. “I’ll go to the AR Corporation.”

“Now?” Joseph was astounded.
“Yep. I have time now,” responded Jared.
“But I didn’t make an appointment in advance,” Joseph reasoned out, and felt Jared aimed to go there to vent his anger on Julia.
As Jared squinted his narrowed eyes, he glanced at Joseph. “Is it still necessary for me to give Paul much respect?”
Joseph closed his mouth in frustration, aware if he continued to argue, his boss would kill him.
“Alright then, I’ll bring someone to prepare it for you,” replied Joseph.
For an instant, Joseph prepared more than fifty bodyguards. Apart from Jared’s Maybach, he also ordered ten more Lamborghinis to follow them behind. Eleven luxurious cars lined up in a long queue and drove towards the AR Corporation.
Meanwhile, the more Paul thought about what had happened recently, the more furious he became.
“This stinky girl is pitiful and shameless!”
Later, his assistant approached his side and reported, “Boss, everything is now arranged. If there’s no accident, Julia can be tied up today.”
“What do you mean by no accident? I want nothing to go wrong!” He yelled.
“Don’t worry about that, boss. I already made an arrangement,” the assistant retorted. “Those are all veterans, aware of what they are doing.”
“Alright.” Paul nodded with satisfaction upon hearing it. “Don’t hurt people. If there’s someone who needs to, that’s me.”
With that, Paul chuckled while rubbing his hands. As he stopped, he interrogated, “By the way, are the injections and whips ready?”
It wouldn’t be denied that Paul was an old pervert, and the assistant knew what he meant. “Of course, everything is now ready.”
The assistant then carried the box, placed it on the table, and opened it. Inside were full of indescribable props. The most conspicuous thing was the improved high school uniform.
Paul moved closer, his hands caressing the uniform, fantasizing about Julia wearing that, his eyes dimmed, and he felt thirsty with those imaginations running in his mind.
At the same time, the assistant’s phone vibrated. He answered the call, and out of the blue, he said, “What?! You mean the Brooks wealthy clan?”
Upon hearing that, Paul halted imagining and eyed the assistant.
Later on, the assistant’s eyes grew wider. “You mean the general manager of the Brooks
Corporation and the president of the company?! And he’s in the company now?!”
Before the assistant could hear the response, Paul snatched the phone. “Are you sure it’s him? The general manager of the Brooks Corporation?”
On the other line, the front desk responded, “They handed over their business card, and it’s indeed him.”
The front desk confirmed.

“Why are they here?!” Paul was confused.
“Only they told me they wanted to negotiate a big deal with you.”
Suddenly, Paul became joyous with that news and laughed out loud.
“It’s a shit luck day!” Paul felt he was over the moon. “The president of the Brooks Corporation came here to meet me in person and wants to discuss a big deal with me. I’m telling you, I’m going to be rich!”
Paul handed back the phone over to his assistant. He adjusted his suit and tie. “Come with me to pick them up.”
It was a double celebration.
Once Paul reached the door, he opened the door. Before stepping out, a tall man blocked the path. ‘Who is this man blocking the way?!”
Paul looked up and saw Jared’s familiar face. His eyes broadened. “It’s you….Why are you here?!” Meanwhile, Jared also glanced at Paul coldly; almost no emotion appeared on his face. Without saying anything, Jared walked in and sat on Paul’s office chair.
“You bastard, get lost in my office!” Paul yelled, pointing to the door angrily. “If you won’t, I’ll have someone to throw you out!”
The receptionist, who had just arrived, thought, ‘How can the boss gain extraordinary courage today? How dare he challenge the president of the Brooks Corporation?‘
Meanwhile, Jared’s mouth remained shut as he focused on the pictures on the table. It was a thick stack of photos, all from Julia.
“Put it down, will you?! Who the hell told you to touch it?!” Paul roared in frustration.
Jared slowly raised his head and met his gaze while his sculpture–like face resembled calmness before the storm.
“Did you say your thing? She’s my woman, not yours.”
The air pressure within the office dropped instantly.
“Your woman?! You little boy, you think you’re worthy? Even Julia herself can’t even figure out if you are,” Paul said with a smirk. “Remember, money is a good thing. If she figures it out in the future, she won’t hesitate to throw herself in my arms.”
Paul then took a photo of Julia from his pocket and was about to place it under his body in front of Jared. Yet, before it happened, Jared had already stood and kicked his long legs toward Paul. That kick was quite hard. With every hit on his body, the sound of broken bones could be heard
around the office.
Paul screamed, agonizing over the pain throughout his body. “AHH!”
At the side, Joseph only glanced at Paul’s legs and sighed. He thought, ‘It must be broken now.‘ Paul deserved to be hit. His boss loved his wife more than his life. And Paul didn’t even care about his boss‘ reactions to what he would do to his wife’s photo.
“You bastard! You’ll be dead if you only came here to make trouble!” Paul shouted, then glanced at his men watching them. “What are you still watching and standing there? Beat him to death!
