Chapter 134: Like A Dragon Or A Tiger
Julia observed the hand’s motion and conditioned herself to be in defense. Julia grabbed the stranger’s arm and twisted it on her back. With that, she heard a familiar voice yelling in pain. “It hurts, it hurts! My hand is going to break!”
Julia’s eyes widened, and then released the man’s arm. “It’s you? Why on earth would you do that?! That’s dangerous!”
When Shiloh heard the commotion in the corridor, he went closer to the door, and listened quietly.
Jared glanced at Julia while shaking his swollen arm, thinking about what Julia did to him. “Dangerous? How many women are there that can do that?” Jared frowned, and Julia raised her eyebrows.
“Where did you learn that? Your information didn’t say anything about having that skill,” Jared asked curiously. Julia had anticipated such a reaction from him once she revealed her fighting skills, so she had already rehearsed what she would say.
“Self–defense. I learned it in secret to protect myself.”
Unamused, Jared complained, “Self–defense? You can catch a criminal at your level!” He rubbed his arm, sighing.
“Enough with that; why did you even come out so soon? My brother-” Jared paused mid–sentence. “Why? What’s wrong with your brother?” Julia asked, confused.
Jared cleared his throat. “Is mine not good enough? Is there something wrong with it?”
After hearing his question, Julia was stunned. Their eyes met, and Jared’s face darkened. “Why do you say that?” Julia asked. “He had no experience with women. I thought that maybe he wasn’t good enough, that’s why. Aren’t you an apprentice of a gifted doctor?” Jared raised his eyebrows. “Since your
medical skills are great, why don’t you prescribe him some medicine? It’s for your lifelong happiness too.”
‘What the?‘ Julia was surprised by what he said. “No way? Does it have that problem? Why don’t you seek medical help?”
Jared was about to answer when the door suddenly opened, revealing Shiloh on the other side. When their gazes met, Shiloh’s eyes widened. “I didn’t see anything!” he yelled, quickly closed the door, and left.
Now that they were both left alone. Julia glanced at Jared, whose face was as dark as the bottom of a pot, ashamed.
Julia faked a cough and cleared her throat. “Wel, there’s nothing to be ashamed about. Everyone had their fair share of problems. How about I help you check it?” Jared gritted his teeth. “I am not sick,” he emphasized every word.
Julia glanced at his pants and then at his face. “I have encountered various patients. Most of them weren’t willing to admit that they were sick. Just accept reality and let me help. I promise to use my knowledge and skills to cure you.”
Jared heaved his chest. Silence filled the hall for a few seconds until he bravely grabbed Julia’s hand and placed it in his trousers pocket.
“Do you want to touch it?”
Julia’s eyes widened, and her cheeks turned red in embarrassment. She turned around and ran from him, unable to utter a word. She hid inside the room and held her chest, which had

been pounding wildly.”
After a few seconds, she finally calmed down. She sat in the corner of the room and stared at her palm. The scene suddenly played in her mind, where a man grabbed her hand and stuffed it into his trousers.
“That trickster!” She stomped her feet in frustration. ‘He’s also sick in the head! Like a dragon and a tiger! Julia hurriedly averted her gaze and put her hand down, thinking she would lose her mind if she continued staring at it.
Jared was left in the corridor, all alone. He glanced at his pants and laughed, remembering Julia’s reaction. ‘She would definitely kill me.” Jared thought and sighed. With the current situation down there, he decided it was time to take a cold shower.
The weekend was fast approaching. Julia and Jared booked an appointment at a suburban hot spring together. And before their departure, they needed to prepare some necessities.
Julia originally planned to go alone, but after Maddie found out, she insisted on tagging along. Maddie confessed that she was bored to death at home every day. Julia didn’t hesitate to let Maddie come, so they went shopping together.
“How about we rest in the nearby coffee shop? I’ll tell them you can’t drink coffee since you’re pregnant,” Julia said.
“Alright, I understand. You are the most verbose anyway,” Maddie said, pursing her mouth. “That can’t be helped since you’re pregnant.”
“Don’t be like that; you’ll get pregnant soon too. And just like me, you will be restricted from doing this and that,” Maddie explained.
Julia shook her head and remained quiet. When they entered the shop, they saw two familiar individuals. It was Vivien and her best friend, Jessica.
“Why are they here? How disappointing. Let’s go somewhere else,” Maddie urged.
Unbothered, Julia sat down, scanned the QR code, and ordered their food. “We came here to eat; why should we go?”
“You’re right. They are the ones who should leave,” Maddie sat opposite Julia and glanced at the menu. “Show me. What else can I drink?”
Vivien and Jessica glared at Julia indifferently. “Look at her face. It’s disgusting to look at,” Jessica began as she eyed Julia from head to toe, smirking.
Vivien sighed. “Don’t bother. She is Carter’s ex–fiance.” Jessica felt distressed and furious seeing how Vivien reacted. “Girl, I don’t even know what to say. It’s your kindness that allows Julia to bully you. People get bullied for the same reason!”
Vivien lowered her head while holding the coffee cup. A few seconds passed, and tears slowly fell
on the table.
Jessica sighed and extended her hand to pat Vivien. “I’m sorry. I didn’t say you’re bad; you’re just too kind! But don’t worry. I’ll avenge you now that she’s here.” Jessica called the waitress and whispered a few words to her. Soon after, Jessica was smirking with her arms crossed over her chest, waiting for a good show,
“Jessica, what was that? You shouldn’t do illegal things for me. It was nothing; I am fine Vivien worriedly asked as she followed the waitress with her gaze.
now,”
“No worries! It wasn’t much. I’m sure you’re aware that my aunt owned this shop. I just asked them to sprinkle some special ingredients in Julia’s coffee.”

After hearing Jessica’s plan, Vivien felt excited in her heart. If her guess were right, the special ingredients would make Julia lose control of herself. She might perform a strip show in the coffee shop, which would be hilarious.
“I asked them to add laxatives, their strongest ones,” Jessica happily announced. “I couldn’t hold them in right after drinking that, so-,” Jessica couldn’t stop giggling while thinking about it.
