Liam’s lips were close to Celeste’s ear, his breath tickling her cheek and the back of her ear
Her ear began to heat up, and she pushed his chin away, pushing his face a little further away from hers.
Liam seemed to sense that she wasn’t really resisting, so he moved closer to her ear again and planted a kiss on her earlobe. “I must follow the doctor’s advice,” he said.
“Since when did you start following the doctor’s advice?” Celeste retorted, “You don’t even take the medication the doctor prescribes when you’re sick.” Liam furrowed his brows, as if he couldn’t remember ever not following the doctor’s advice. But that excuse wasn’t enough for him to give up on her, so he said, “From today, I will follow the doctor’s advice”
With that, his lips fell to the corner of her mouth, kissing her bit by bit, moving from the corner of her mouth to her lips. He tentatively licked her lips, then suddenly stopped, furrowing his brows and sniffing the air around her.

Liam didn’t know how to explain, so he grabbed her in a fluster and kissed her again, proving that he wasn’t lying to her.
Liam initially just wanted to show her that he wasn’t disgusted by her, but when their lips actually met, they both got a little carried away.
