The hand slipped into her clothes, touching her smooth skin restlessly. Celeste, scared out of her mind, pleaded in a shaky voice, “Please let me go. I can give you money, okay?”
Liam lowered his gaze to the irresistibly sexy woman in front of him, his throat bobbing. He remained silent.
Waking up to see his beloved lying next to him flushed all over, his first thought was that he was dreaming.
Only when he felt the warm and familiar touch did he realize it wasn’t a dream.

Without a word, he continued to caress her.
A layer of goosebumps appeared on her skin, making her look adorable. Liam couldn’t resist planting a kiss on her stomach.

She swallowed her fear and said timidly. “Sir, I’m already married. My ex–husband left me because I’m not fun in bed. Even though I’m pretty, I’m as dull as a log. I have no interest in sex, so you might as well just take my money.”
Liam didn’t have the heart to burst her bubble. Would someone who has no interest in sex often wear provocative nightgowns to tease him?
He was a bit curious about how she would try to escape in this situation, so he asked in a fake voice, “How much money can you give me?”
Liam wasn’t as flawless at faking different voices as Celeste. Under normal circumstances, Celeste would definitely recognize it was him, but right now, her nerves were on high alert. Liam chuckled lightly, touching her chin and said, “I own more than a dozen properties, and the annual rent I collect from them is over a million. Isn’t what you’re offering a bit stingy?”
Celeste cursed inwardly. He’s so rich, yet he’s doing this? Is he doing it just for the thrill?
But she didn’t dare to offend him verbally. Since he had revealed so much to her, he probably wasn’t a completely heartless person. Maybe there was still a chance to turn things around.
She continued to persuade him, trying to appeal to his conscience, “Look, you’re not short of money, so you don’t need to do this. I’m an artist. If my manager can’t find me, they’ll definitely call the police. Who’s going to collect your rent if you end up in jail? It’s a lose–lose situation.”
Liam said, “I may not be short on money, but what I lack is you. I think you’re a pretty, sweet talker, and you even care about whether I’ll get caught! You’re very kind.”
Celeste was speechless.
She had zero concern for him! She was just trying to protect her own innocence and safety. Was he crazy?
Liam countered, “How much do you make from a movie?”
