After comforting the three little guys, Jane finally had some time to spend alone with Drake.
Jane immediately asked what happened after the incident.
Drake didn’t hide anything, and narrated her the situation.
“After the reinforcements arrived, I went to hunt them down. However, I didn’t get to because they’re gone already. The one who captured Zane was called River. Because you got shot, I sent you to the hospital, and let him escape.”
“You weren’t able to catch one?” Jane asked worriedly.
“I caught a few of his subordinates the ones who got shot during the firing, I didn’t get any useful information after the interrogation, but one thing is certain, that man in the lead has a higher status in the Dao of assassins.” Drake said with a frown.
“Then what should we do? The enemy is lurking in the dark, and we are in the light. How should we know when will the danger comes?” She was most worried about the three little guys.
“Don’t worry, the Deragon Team will be watching them, after this incident they won’t dare to act rashly for the time being.” Drake said slowly.
Hearing this, Jane felt relieved. No matter what, she doesn’t want to let the children be entangled in
this.
Drake hold Jane’s hand and said gently, “Don’t worry too much, I’ll take care of everything.”
Jane nodded, due to her injury, she’s getting exhausted easily although she’s not awake that long. Drake saw that she’s getting drowsy so he let her rest first.
When Jane woke up again she suddenly thought of an important matter. It was Annie who brought her to the yacht. She probably had something to do with this assassins.
If the Deragon group was investigating regarding this Dao assassins, they can interrogate Annie first.
Having thought of this, Jane planned to tell Drake immediately, but when she opened her there
eyes, was no sign of Drake in the ward except for the three little guys.
When the three little guys saw that she was awake, they all ran to her bed and greeted her with
concern.
“Mommy, what do you want to do, tell us, Dad told us to take care of you.”
Drake couldn’t let the three little guys take care of their mother, so he arranged for a nurse to take care of them.
The three little ones were worried about Mommy, so they stayed in the ward. They insisted of taking care of their Mommy themselves.
Jane was amused by the children’s behavior and assured them that she was fine and smiled asking, “Mommy is fine, where is your daddy?”
“Daddy has gone to the company, and he said he will come to accompany you after finishing the work.” Zachary said.
“Okay, well, Mommy has nothing to do, I just want to talk to your dad for something.” Jane said with a

“Mom, are you hungry? Someone brought food just now. There is lean meat porridge, chicken soup, and some light and easy–to–digest side dishes. Which one do you want to eat?”
While saying that, Zane had already pushed the food cart brought by the nurse earlier.
Looking at the cart full of food, she felt really hungry, so she started eating some of it.
When William came in, he saw the three little guys feeding their mother one by one, one mouthful of porridge on the left, one mouthful of chicken soup on the right, and a mouthful of side dishes from time to time, and they ate as well.
Seeing this scene, William joked, “It’s not that bad, three little nurses are already serving you. It seems that the nurses prepared for you by the hospital are no longer needed.”
Jane had almost eaten too much. She was injured, so she’s only allowed to eat a small portion. When William came in, she stop the three little guys, telling them not to feed her anymore.
William approached them, and glance at the handsome Zachary and Zane and at the sweet and lovely Zoe feeling a little envious.
“You are so lucky for having this cute babies all at once.”
Hearing William’s words, Jane thought, back then if it wasn’t William’s help she wouldn’t be able to have this three cute babies.
If it wasn’t for William’s intervention, she would not be the mother of this children now, from giving birth to faking her death, due to Williams efforts she was secretly sent abroad as well to keep Zoe
and Zane safe.
“Speaking of which, thank you!”
After giving birth that year, when Jane woke up again, she was already abroad with two cute babies beside her, and a strange woman guarding her side.
Jane asked the woman who sent her abroad, but the woman did not reveal who the person behind it. She just silently took care of them for a while and left a large sum of money before leaving them.
Later, Jane made an investigation, but she never found out who sent her abroad. Instead of wasting her time finding someone who can’t be found, she started to develop her own business abroad while taking care of her two children as well.
Jane thought that she had only given birth to two children because when she woke up she only saw two cute babies, and did not expect that the other one was left to Drake’s care.
Fortunately, after investigating around, she found out that she still has one child.
All of this was William’s arrangement.
Hearing Jane’s gratitude, William didn’t feel like he had done a great thing, he just didn’t like Annie that much.
Moreover, as Drake’s good
friend, he didn’t want to see his friend regret it at the end, so he did all this.
Looking at it now, everything was worth it, Drake finally knew whom his heart belong to, and also saw Annie’s true face. And now, the not so little family are finally united.
“Small things, there’s no need to thank me.” William said while waving his hands and walked to Jane’s

“I have to see your wounds condition.”
Jane thought her wounds location is in a private part, she then look at the three little guys beside her, pondered for a bit and then said “Zach, take Zane and Zoe out first.”
The wound was on the right chest. She had to take off her clothes to check the injury. Although William is a professional doctor he’s Drake’s friend also, so it wasn’t good for the children to see it.
William started to check her wound after the three little ones walked out of the ward room.
“There should be no problem. I’ll ask the nurse to come over and change your dressing and gauze later.” William said in a relax tone after checking the wound.
“I’m sorry to trouble you.” Jane straightened her clothes and thanked him sincerely.
“It’s just a small matter, If you really want to thank me, introduce me to a beautiful woman, precisely like you who can bear three treasures at once.”
William said stroking his chin and said dreamily.
Jane was stunned for a moment. Where can she find a beautiful woman to introduce to him? And moreover…beauty is a trivial matter, it’s up to the woman if she has the ability to bear three babies at
all.
At this moment,the door of the ward suddenly opened, and a bold figure ran in hastily.
“Honey, are you okay?”
As soon as she heard the voice Jane doesn’t have to guess who it was, no other than her friend April Middlam.
April immediately walked to Jane’s bed after entering the ward looking at Jane worriedly.
“I just found out that something happened to you, so I came here immediately. I heard that you were shot. How are you doing now?”
Looking at the worried face of April, Jane shook her head, saying that it’s not a major problem.
“I’m fine, but you, why are you in such a mess?”
