Hearing the shower being turned off, I roll to my back and try to open my eyes when I hear him walk around inside the bathroom.
Pulling the blanket further up over my body while I look up at the ceiling. I see the sun has started to go up, and I know he is getting ready to go to work.
I sigh to myself when I know I still can’t leave his pack grounds. I have been here almost for two weeks now, and even if I have had Noah here almost every day and been able to do some work, I’m still frustrated over not being able to leave and go back to my work.
Darian has helped me a lot, and he even fixed some workers to help us with our clients this last week, but still, it’s frustrating to be locked in here.

Turning my head, I look at his sexy body with water droplets still running down his skin. He only has a low hanging towel on him, and I can’t help but take him all in.
“Yes!” I say when he comes over to the bed and tosses the blanket off me before he grabs my body and pulls me up on my feet.
“I’ve got some news for you!” he says while looking at me. Trying to figure it out by his facial expression, but he is not giving anything
away.
“What is it?” He smiles at my question, takes his hand to my hair, and pulls it from my shoulder when I see his eyes travel over it.
I know he has a hard time containing his wolf from taking over and marking me, he has been waiting for the doctor, and it doesn’t get easier for him. He traces his fingers over my shoulder when I hear a low growl coming from him.

“I’ve got a mind link from the doctor, he is back and wants to see us!” he says, and I get excited to finally be able to have a talk with him again, and hopefully he has some new information.
“When?” I say when he leans down and pecks my lips.
“This afternoon!” he says and lets go of me when he starts to walk over to his closet. I can’t wait, could go there right away, and I will have to get there before Darian if I’m going to have a chance to talk to him alone.
“What time? I can meet you there.” I say to him when I hear him take on some clothes.
“I’ll have my driver over here and pick you up, you come by my office before we go over to meet him!” He says and my stomach drops at his words.
I don’t want to go back over to his work, I haven’t been back there since that day when I heard those secretaries and the way they talked about me and him. Not that I’m afraid to meet them again, I just don’t want to feel anything like I did that day.

I know I will have to deal with them someday, and I can’t be this pack’s Luna if I’m not handling them, but I haven’t felt up for it.
“It’s better if I meet you over there instead! Save us some time,” I say in response when I hear him come out of the closet.
Turning my head, I see him dressed in a dark gray suit, and I almost start to drool over him again. He walks over to where I stand and grabs my cheek when he looks at me with an intense gaze.
“You will come by my office today before we go over together,” he says in his dominant voice; leaving no room for argument, but I don’t want to go there.
“Is it necessary?” I ask him when he just looks at me.
“You will come by first, and that’s the end of discussion!” He says and looks at me for a moment more before he lets go of his hold on my cheek and walks over to take his phone from the nightstand.
