Isabella’s POV
We walked hand in hand as we went through the pack house hallways. It was amazing how gigantic the Red Moon pack house was. If we were speaking literally, I would have to say that it’s a pack castle. I had been in and out of this place ever since I was a little girl and even worked in the gallery on this same grounds and yet these hallways I walked through with Alexander were entirely new to me. He was taking me to our ‘morning date‘ and has refused to tell me where it was. The only thing I had figured out was that it was within the grounds of the pack house.
“Do you know, I completely forgot that we had multiple play dates as children.” Alexander said and I chuckled,
“Don’t worry, you’re not the only one that forgot that we have history.” I winked at him and he laughed. “I think it’s cause of all those years I spent with my grandparents miles away from here.”
“What do you think would have happened if we could somehow know that we were mates all those years ago?”
I thought for a second, “I would have said, ‘ew, cooties!‘ and run away from you.” I said and Alexander threw back his head as laughter erupted from him.
“Fair enough.” He said, still laughing. His laughter was so contagious, I was forced to laugh along with him.

We finally came to a stop and when I looked up, I could see that we were standing in front of a tall archway made of a lone metal pole that had climbing vines and flowers growing all over it. It was a garden! I turned to Alexander with a grin, “Is this it?” I asked and he nodded with a nervous smile.
Not waiting for him, I ran in knowing that my spontaneous action would throw him off for a second or two. Alexander never did anything spontaneously but his plans no matter how short notice were always wonderful. Just like this one. This place was absolutely beautiful and the fact that I never knew that such a place existed made it a hundred times better. I soon heard Alexander beside me and smiled as he wrapped his arms around me from behind before pecking me on the cheek.
“This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Ever.”
“Really?”
“Has this garden always been here? It’s amazing how many grounds of this pack house my feet have never stepped on.”
“It has always been here, you’re just not very adventurous.” Alexander said as I linked my arm through his. I flicked his arm after he made that last comment even though I agreed with
him.
“Not my fault I wasn’t born here and didn’t live here all my life.”
“Well now you do.” He laughed as we walked up to the fountain.
The fountain was a beautiful work of art. There was a large wolf and a mermaid with a bowl were the water pipes were

connected was pouring water on the wolf’s head. He had a slightly annoyed look on his face that made me laugh.
Alexander turned to me with a questioning look and I explained, “That wolf kinda reminds me of you.”
He assessed the wolf statue before turning back to me, brow raised, “How?”
I laughed, “You were always so grumpy.”
Alexander frowned, “Me? You were always so grumpy.”
his
I gasped. “That’s a lie and you know it. I was always so annoyed because you were always so grumpy and mean.”
Alexander was quiet for a second, “That is very fair.” He finally said and I scoffed, a seemingly permanent smile on my face. “I feel terrible about all that now.” He said, his voice low.
I frowned at him, “Please don’t.” I said before turning to stand in front of him, “I’m just glad all that’s in the past now and we‘ ve come so far.”
Without a word, Alexander pulled me into his arms and
enveloped me in the hugest, warmest hug and the only thing I wondered was how we were thinking the exact same thing cause if he didn’t initiate the hug, I would’ve. I loved being in his arms. It felt so comfortable, so warm, so safe.
“I love you, Isabella.”
I froze.
He started to pull away from me after a few seconds, “It’s okay if–”

I bit my lip, shaking my head as I blinked away the tears that had quickly built up in my eyes. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him back to me, hugging him as tight as I possibly could. “I love you too, mate.” I sighed and the next thing I knew, I was up in the air with Alexander’s arms holding my waist as he spun me around.
I laughed out loud as he brought me back down to my feet. There was practically no space between us as we stared at each other.
“I love you.” Alexander said again, brushing away the tear with his thumb.
“I love you Alexander.” I grinned at him, the blush in my cheeks burning.
“I could definitely get used to hearing that.” He grinned.
“I don’t want to ever get used to it, I want everyday I hear it to be like the first. Complete with the butterflies and all.”
Alexander linked my arm in his, “I knew you could paint, I never knew you had a poetic side to your art as well.” He said and I giggled.
We finally came upon the little picnic he had probably had someone set up before we got here just on the other side of the fountain. Everything was so pretty I couldn’t help taking a photo. I wasn’t exactly starving and knowing that he hadn’t had anything to eat since morning,I ate slowly, subtly letting him have most of the food. We talked about everything and nothing and by the end of our little picnic, I could tell that today would always be one of the happiest day of my life.
I grabbed my phone as we were packing up just in time to see

Chloe’s call come in. I was glad it didn’t come earlier and disrupt Alexander and I’s time, no offence at all to Chloe. By the time I tried to pick up though, the call had ended and when I went to call her back I could see that she had actually called a couple times before and I had missed it. I saw a few calls from Ryder as well and tried not to panic about what could be so urgent as I called Chloe back.
She picked up on the first ring, “Bella.” She whined.
“Chlo, is everything alright?” I asked immediately.
“Bella.” She said again before bursting into tears.
“Chloe! What’s wrong please, you’re scaring me.” I complained and she chuckled amidst her tears.
“I’m so happy that I’m crying Bells.”
“And I’m confused as hell.” I said, slightly relieved.
“Bella, I’m pregnant. Ryder and I are expecting!”
I felt bad for Alexander’s eardrums with how loud I screamed. “Oh my gosh Chloe! I’m so happy for you both you can’t even imagine!” I said as tears filled my eyes.
“Thank you, Bella.”
“I’m the godmother, right?”
“You know I have no other friends.” She said and I chuckled. “I can’t believe the Luna is going to be my baby’s godmother though.” She said and I rolled my eyes. “Bella, someone’s gonna call me ‘mom“” She said, sounding like she was about to burst into tears again.

We talked a bit more after that and when we ended the call I turned to Alexander who was trying too hard to hide how eager he was for the gist. He was almost as happy as I was for Chloe when I told him and after packing everything up so it would be easier for a maid to pick up, we walked back together. We were getting close to Alexander’s office when we stumbled on Caleb. Well considering he came behind us, I guess he stumbled on us. He made a low whistle as he came forward and we turned to him.
When Alexander brushed a leaf that he had not previously noticed was stuck to my hair, Caleb rolled his eyes. “Get a room.” He said and Alexander snorted.
“To brush a leaf of her hair?”
“You guys make eyes at each other every second. It’s amazing how cold and emotionless you are when you’re with us and then you’re all high school lover boy with her.”
I chuckled, “I’m his mate, Caleb. Do you want him to be all lover boy with you?”
Caleb wrinkled his nose. “I wouldn’t date Alexander for a million bucks if he were a girl.” He said and Alexander rolled his eyes while I laughed, amused. “Don’t you worry, Mason and I will find our own mate soon.”
“You sure you’re about to give up your player ways anytime soon?” I said before something that he said registered in my mind. “Wait a minute, did you just say you and Mason? Caleb, has Blake found his mate?”
Caleb’s eyes widened and he clamped his hand over his
