“What?” Caleb asked disgruntled “Why are you looking at me like that ”
“Just helping you figure out what your talents are bro.”
“Hey! You guys can duel, how about that?” Sasha spoke up. The woman was full of great ideas.
“That is brilliant Sasha!”
“Thank you.” She smiled and Blake rubbed her shoulders, a proud glint in his eyes.
“How about it guys, will y’all duel? It’s not each other, anyone that can challenge you guys and win, will get a price.”
“Sure, I’m down.” Caleb was the first to cave.
“I have a better idea, Luna.” Lisa spoke.
I gestured for her to speak. “Instead of Sir Caleb and Sir Mason being the ones doing the dueling. How about we do something where we get some young men to duel, whoever wins gets to take one of the beauty pageant contestant on a date?”
“Smart, I love that idea.” Sasha said. “A very brilliant idea.”
“Me too, alright. Let’s do it!”
Hundred and Thirty–Eight
Isabella Pov
“Where are the lights?” I glared at Caleb. It was the eve to the ball and we had done mostly nothing.
“Oh shit. I think I left it at the the house.” Caleb face palmed himself
“Well go and get it back Caleb!” I yelled annoyed at how slow things were going.
“Yeah. sure.” Caleb said and immediately ran out the door. It was the eve to the ball and we had done a fair amount of work but it wasn’t enough. The main hall in the mansion was not even half decorated yet I had sent out a flyer looking for volunteers that could design the main hall and surprisingly a lot of people had showed up but we were still a little behind.
“You look stressed Luna, Here.” Lisa appeared beside me. she handed me a glass of water with a reassuring smile. Lisa had been helping me out with the planning along with Blake, Caleb, Mason and Sasha and I was thankful to them.
“Thanks Lisa.” I said and took a sip before handing it back to her
I walked into the kitchen and it was littered with maids moving around trying to get a few things in order to start early preparations for the food tomorrow.
They bowed as soon as they noticed me and I gave a nod in response
“Where’s Sashu?” I asked no one in particular She was supposed to be in charge of the kitchen along with I isa but she was nowhere to be

“She had to use the bathroom.” One maid spoke up behind me
“Oh okay How’s everything going in here?” I asked. watching as a less of them sliced some vegetables in the corner.
“Good so far ma’am.” One of the maid spoke up and I nodded Happy that at least things in the kitchen was going well.
Everything was coming together and I couldn’t be happier.
I had initially not been sure that I’d be able to pull off a party of such a large scale but everything seemed to be coming together nicely.
It was 8pm and the mansion was crawling with workers. Some I had had to hire and some volunteers.
“Ma’am where does this go?” one of the volunteer workers asked. He was carrying an old stereo speaker that I was fairly sure was bad.
“uh. come with me.” I led him to a smaller store room just behind the main hall and pointed at where he should place it
“Thanks Josh “I said to him after he dropped the stereo off and he smiled, clearly excited that I remembered his name. How could I not have, he was the very first volunteer that signed up.
I walked around the mansion checking on things, making sure everything was going according to Plan and it was.
“Hey” Sasha waved at me as she walked towards me
“You okay? You look like you need to rest a bit.” She asked as she eyed me up and down.
“Rest? I can’t possibly rest. the party is tomorrow, we have to get
everything ready by then
Sasha shook her head in disbelief
“you really are a workaholic aren’t you? Look. everything is going line The kitchen staff are in good hands, Blake is briefing security for tomorrow, even the hall will soon be ready. You’ve been at it all morning. It’s time to rest, even if for a little bit.”
She said as she turned me around and began to push me by my shoulders towards the stairs.
“But…”
“No buts, you can come back in two hours. We’ll be at it all night
Reluctantly, I nodded and went upstairs. Sasha was right, I needed to rest and take a hot shower. I had been at it all afternoon till now trying to get the party organized and to go perfectly well forgetting I had not even sat down for a second to even rest my legs.
My phone rang in my pocket as soon as I entered my room. It was Chloe face timing me. I picked up on the second ring as I closed the door behind me.
“Hey girl, how’s the planning coming along?” Chloe’s face came on
screen.
“It’s coming.” I said with a heavy sigh as I plopped down on my bed. I did not realize how tired I was until I sat down.
“You look exhausted.” Chloe said as she eyed me up and down through the screen
“I am. I’ve been trying to get things organized since 2pm. I just realized I haven’t had anything to cal since then too ”
You have to go easy in yourself Relax a bit I still don’t get why you couldn’t just hire an event planner for this” She said confusion lacing

“I told you if the Luna could do it several times all by herself and save the pack some money so can I!”
Chloe rolled her eyes at me. She had told me I was being completel ridiculous last week when I told her I wasn’t going to be hiring any event planner and I had told her everything would be fine and so far i

“By the way, what are you wearing?” Chloe asked.
“Ohhh, it’s a surprise but I’m going to be wearing red.”
“Ouuu, sexy. Alright, I’m off. Ryder just came in with Xeke.”
I said hi to Xeke before hanging up.
After a shower an a thirty five minutes nap and some food in my stomach, thanks to Sasha sending one of the maids to bring me something, I went back downstairs to do more supervising
The hall was already halfway decorated by the time I came down, and the kitchen staff were already done with their preparation for
Lomorrow.
“I told you everything would go smoothly” Sasha came to stand beside me. She was holding a bowl with chopped fruits inside
“you did. Is Caleb back with the Chandelier and lightning“”
“yeah. he is And it will be fixed first thing tomorrow morning
“Alright. I like the sound of that.”
It was 11pm by the time everyone went back home with half the thing already ready. All things considered everything was going fine I was beyond proud of myself but there was still a lot to be done before 7pm
tomorrow.
I bid the workers goodnight and sent them home with some food and drinks that I had told the staff earlier to prepare. They thanked me but I waved them off. It was the least I could do for their help.
“So. tomorrow is the big day. You nervous?” Sasha asked at the dinning table.
“A little bit but I think everything is going smoothly, don’t you?” I replied.
“I do. “Sasha responded “You did it”
“We did it!” I replied.
Sasha, Caleb and I were both in dinning hall snacking and arranging some of the souvenirs in a bag for the guests. And also boxing some of the prices we planned on giving to the winners.
“I’m tired!” Caleb pouted.
“That’s too damn bad Caleb, you were supposed to get the maids to do this earlier.”
“Why can’t they do it now?”
“Because they are exhausted, they’ve been working their ass off all day.
more work than they usually do.”
“I should be in bed with Felicity by now”
“Who the hell is Felicity ?” Sasha asked.
“A stripper I met two days ago on my way to the north border she had
a problem with her car and I helped her fix it.”
“And brought her home?” Sasha asked.
“Yup.”
“I’m surprised that I am surprised right now.” Sasha said dryly
“Whatever, my point is, I should be resting.”
One hour later Blake took Sasha home and Caleb drove to his suite. leaving me to finish the arranging of the souvenirs by myself.
It was 1am before I finally climbed upstairs to my room.
I showered, brushed my teeth and decided to call Alexander. He was on a business trip, he had left very early yesterday. As I opened my phone. there were several missed calls from him. I immediately called back, he picked on the first ring.
“Isabella!” he breathed as if relieved that he finally got through to me.
“Xander, sorry I haven’t been able to call.”
“It’s fine. Blake said you were extremely busy How are you?”
“Exhausted and missing you. How are you?”
“Missing you too but I’m good, meeting is going well and I think we have the blue moon pack alliance now.
“That’s great” I said to him
“I wish you were here right now. I miss you and I want a hug ”
“I can get on the road right now…”
“Don’t be ridiculous. Xander.” I giggled. “I’ll see you tomorrow, looking rakishly handsome in the outlit I got you. I can’t wait!”
“I can’t wait either.” He said and my heart melted in joy. I had gotten him a black suit with red embroidery decorations that matched my dress and a red wolf mask and I couldn’t wait to dance with him
tomorrow.
I did not know exactly when I went to bed but I was roused from sleep the next day by a loud knock.
