There was only one thing on my mind as I glared down at Rhea, but I didn’t think punching her across the face would go well with Alexander or anyone else in the table for that matter, she seemed to have everyone wrapped around her fingers besides she wasn’t the one I was mad at. Alexander was most deserving of my anger than anyone else. He had left without putting The overly touchy woman in her place. I could not believe he had left without so much as a word to me or her. The woman had been rubbing up and down his back for God sake and insinuated that she wanted him. I was starting to think he was enjoying her company. After all he barely said three words to me throughout breakfast.
“I think I’ll go too.” I gritted out still glaring at Rhea. She was looking at me with a satisfied expression and it took everything in me to not slap the smug look off her facee.
I threw the napkin I had used to clean Alexander up a little too hard on the table and stalked off but before I was out of hearing rage. I heard Rhea turn to Mason and Caleb with a little chuckle
“As I was saying, I have missed you guys so much, it feels like ages. since we last saw each other.”
“We’ve missed you too,” Mason said to her.
It took everything in me not to roll my eyes at Mason. They all seemed close and While that was none of my business, it made my blood boil I wasn’t jealous though, I didn’t care, I just wondered how they all came to know her so well. I wasn’t jealous!

“Luna.” Lisa intercepted me in the hallway. I was half way down to Alexander study to confront him about what had just happened because I couldn’t for the life of me act like I wasn’t boiling with rage inside.
“Have you decided on what to wear to the pack meeting or are you…” She swallowed the rest of her words as I stalked past her, barely glancing at her. I wasn’t in the mood right now.
I was too upset to stay and chat about frivolous things and she seemed to have noticed because she didn’t follow me as she’d usually do.
I barged into Alexander’s office and Blake was the first person I saw. He looked up at me in surprise.

distance say he was just going to head out and come back later Good because I wasn’t sure I’d be able to control my tongue with the way I was seeing red.
“what are you talking about Baby?” he asked, closing the document in his hands and setting it on the table.
“Don’t play dumb with me Xander.” I said “You know exactly what I mean! why is that woman…” I pointed towards the direction of the dinning room

I wasn’t about to beat round the bush about this either. The woman was acting like she owned the place, touching and feeling Alexander up like she was married to him or something.

“I shouldn’t be silly?” I asked in a deathly silent voice that scared even me. He must have seen the look in my eyes because he retracted his words quickly.
“Okay, maybe that was the wrong thing to say, I’m sorry let’s try this again. What are you talking about? She’s just a guest.”
“A guest that clearly wants in your pants. What exactly is your relationship with her, huh? You told me she was the daughter of some Alpha you were trying to help! Why is she talking about how much sex the both of you used to have?”

“No, I am not!” I defended. I was definitely not jealous and even if I were, anyone in their right mind would be too if some random woman was trying to feel their husband up.
“you are…” He said, tilting his head to the side with a small knowing and amused smile. He was enjoying this, my reaction to Rhea and the fact made me fist clench in annoyance

“Some woman… you know what I’m leaving.” I said and turned around. on my heels ready to leave but before I could move two steps, He pulled me by the waist so I was directly to his chest. “let go of me, Xander…” I seethed but his hands snaked around me tighter in response, pulling my closer to his warm chest. His scent enveloped me. trapping me in his embrace.
I tried to fight back one more time but my attempts were useless against him
“Shh.” He cooed into my ears and before long, I relaxed against his chest. He pulled my hair away from my ears and spoke into my ears.

That revelation got me even angrier than I initially was
