Isabella’s pov
Is it really necessary?” I asked Alexander with my eyebrows scrunched up question. It was evening now and we were both in his study lounging around. He was telling me about a visitor that would be coming to stay over for a bit in our pack. A visitor I hadn’t heard of until today. Apparently she was the daughter of the Alpha of some powerful pack and she needed our protection. From what? I wasn’t quite sure and I didn’t particularly like the idea either and not just because a strange woman I knew nothing about was going to in the pack.
“Afraid so.” Alexander said without looking at me.
“What’s wrong?” he finally glanced up at me when he noticed how quiet I had gotten. I was perched up on his desk staring down at him while he was seated in his desk chair, going through some paperwork.
“I don’t know if I want a random wolf in the pack.” I said truthfully. I wasn’t jealous or anything but the idea of another woman in the pack didn’t exactly immediately make me want to jump for joy.
“I know my love but we have little to no choice as it stands. They are a good ally to us and have been for a while. It’s only right we do right by then in their time of need besides we never know when we’d need them.”
“But you have to admit it’s kind of weird.”
“Not really, things like this happen all the time. It’s just a wolf pack helping another pack in time of need. It’s only for a short time.”

I heaved a heavy sigh, still not convinced but not wanting to ruin the light atmosphere.
“kay but I still have a bad feeling about this.” I said reluctantly.
He pulled me into his lap and kissed my forehead.
“It’s only for a while, I promise. I’ll kick her out immediately her father notifies me their pack is safe again, deal?”
“deal.” I giggled and he chuckled in response as he played with my hair. I was glad we were back to normal again. The first hours of the day had been nothing but rough but now that I was around his
intimidating but sweet aura, I was glad I came into his office earlier to fix things.
“Now, that we are done with that…” he started to say wiggling his eyebrows In suggestive way.
“Wanna go out on a date with me?”
“A date?” I asked surprised.
“Yes, a date.”
“But it’s a bit late…” I argued. Not mention the fact that I had nothing
to wear.
“Shhh, no buts, I only require a yes or a yes, I’d love to, answer.
I grinned and nodded.
“Yes, I’d love to.”
“Like you had a choice.” He winked. I stuck out my tongue and he shook his head at my juvenile antics.

“Now, go upstairs and get dressed.”
“Right now?”
“Yes, hurry up Luna.”
“but where are we going” I asked, wondering when he had time to pull up a date in his incredibly busy schedule. I had been with him for the better part of the day and even sure he had mostly given me or tried to give me his attention he was still busy throughout, Both with phone calls and pack business.
“it’s a surprise.” He wiggled his brows at me.
“Oh really?”
“yes, now hurry and go get dressed.”

“uh, okay.” I said as I pulled myself off his lap, trying to figure out in my mind what I was going to wear.
He slapped my butt on my way out and grinned when I looked back at him in shock.
“Go.” He said playfully
“okay, okay.” I giggled and I ran out of the office. I didn’t exactly know why but my heart was beating but in a good way. Alexander was being unusually sweet today and I ate it up.
I opened the door to my room and gasped at the sight that greeted me.
I walked deeper into my room and squealed in excitement as I got to
my bed. On top of the queen size bed, was a cocktail dress with matching shoes and diamond tear drop earrings. A small silver clutch bag was perched on the bed too. He really did think of everything, didn’t he?

“oh, my God Xander, this is gorgeous.” I said into the empty room as I pulled the dress up to get a better look.
I ran towards the mirror and placed the dress on my body and almost couldn’t keep my excitement inside at the perfect color and detail of the dress. The red dress looked perfect with my skin tone and the rhinestones that decorated the small slit went perfectly with the silver bag. Without wasting any more time, I jumped into the shower excited for what my Alpha had planned.
I was done showering and dressing up in no time. I twirled around in my floor to ceiling mirror after I finished dressing up. I felt like a princess in the dress, how did he always know to get something that was just my taste?
The shoes were a much darker shade of red, almost black in dim. Lighting and it went perfectly with everything else.
I walked down to the living room, past a bunch of maids that bowed when they saw me and giggled when they thought I was out of earing
range.
Alexander was downstairs talking to one of the security details when he noticed me and turned towards where I stood on the stairs case watching him.
His eyes darkened into a deeper shade of brown as he gazed at me.
Without a word to the security guard, he walked up to me like he was dazed or on a trans.
“It should be a capital offense to look this… breathtaking. “he said, watching me with desire in his eyes.
I blushed, embarrassed at his sweetness and the fact that the security guard was still standing just a few feet away from us awkwardly,

He shook his head as if dazed by the sight of me.
“I’m sorry, I can’t find a word good enough to describe it.”
“oh my God, Xander, you are being totally cringey tonight.” I said with a giggle. His grin was wide as he spoke. “There’s more where that came from.” He said and I rolled my eyes at him.
“come on.” He said and took my hands and led me to the bottom of the
stairs.
“I’m guessing with the grin on your face, you loved my gift.” He said referring to the entire outfit he got me.
“yes! I do! Thank you.”
“Come, I got you more.
”
“More than all this?” I gestured at my outfit.”
He chuckled like what I had said was ridiculous.
“Turn around.”
I did as I was told. I felt his hands move my curled hair to the side and then a pinch of cold in the centre of my neck.
“oh, my God Xander.” I said, touching the diamond necklace he had placed on my neck.
“Do you like it!”
“I love it!” I said with a wide grin.
Alexander decided to drive by himself. I was giddy with excitement

and a bit nervous. I wondered where we were going through out the drive. His hands held onto mine till we got to our destination.
A big restaurant that just opened a few days ago.
“Are we the first in here?” I asked as soon as we walked in. Alexander‘
s hand was at the small of my back as he led us both in.
The restaurant was empty save for waitresses and other staff.
“Sort of.” Alexander said into my ears.
“Sort of?” I asked with my brows knitted together in question.
“Mr Alexander, welcome. This way…” a tall waiter wearing a suit interrupted.
“Come on.” Alexander said and I followed him.
“I can’t believe you rented out the whole place.”
“I wanted to make it special for my Luna, plus consider this as my own personal celebration.”
I smiled like an idiot because why was he so damn cute?
“For what?”
“For resuming your official duty as Luna.”
“oh my goodness, I love it.”
“Yeah, I knew you would.”
We ordered our food and Alexander told me that he had rented out the entire restaurant for the day and that we were their first ever customer and we were in a way christening the place.

“Question.” I said to him after our second course meal.
He motioned for me to continue.
“What would you do it I was pregnant.”
He paused, dropped his fork full of food and tilted his head to the side.
“Are you?”
“Answer my question Xander.” I told him with a playful voice.
“I’d be over the moon. I’d shut down the city.”
I giggled
“Really?”
“Really. So, are you?” he pressed.
“No, I just wanted to know.”
“Well,” he started, grabbing my hands and kissing it. “I’d be the happiest Alpha if that were to happen.”
The rest of the date was filled with Alexander making me laugh and teasing me about how big I’d be if I got pregnant and how he’ll parade me around and how he wouldn’t let me get out of bed.
We got back to the pack hours later.
“I had a great time Xander, thank you.”
He pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead.
“Anything for you.”
