“Luna!.” I heard a muffled voice call,
“Luna!” The muffled voice came again but this time, it was louder and accompanied by a loud knock. I snapped my eyes opened and I sat up abruptly from where I laid sprawled on the ground. That was a mistake because my head protested in pain.
“Shit.” I cursed as I held my banging head in my hands. “What the hell happened?” I said to no one in particular.
The memories of last night whooshed over me like a summer breeze and I groaned in pain. we had been drinking and we had taken more than intended and now I could feel my head scream at me in pain.
I pushed Sasha’s leg off mine and she stirred in her sleep but didn’t move to wake up.
“Luna, it’s Lisa. Everything okay?” I heard the voice again but louder this time with a louder knock on the door.
Grudgingly, I pushed myself up from the floor and some stray popcorn fell off my shirt.
I glanced around the apartment and my eyes widened at the mess we had made last night. The entire room was covered in popcorn. From the couch to the arm chair to the ground. Several bottles of beer and a few empty bottles of tequila decorated the room. Chloe’s Chilie pepper laid empty close the couch.
“Oh shit!” I cursed when I heard the knock again. We had really made a mess of the place last night.

“Coming!” I yelled, knowing whoever was at the door probably wouldn’t hear me.
“Sasha!” I tapped the sleeping girl on the floor. “Wake up.”
She stirred a bit in her sleep but didn’t budge.
“Sasha. omg!” I groaned.
“Guys wake up, we need to clear the place.”

“hmmm.” Sasha stretched “I’ll join you in a sec.” She said and I immediately knew that that wasn’t going to happen, she sounded too much like she was talking in her sleep rather than at me.
I tapped Chloe who was sleeping side ways on the couch and she didn‘ t even budge and judging by her loud snoring, I didn’t think she would anytime soon.
Forgetting about the two of them, I scrambled to hide the bottles by myself but before I could even do anything the door to the apartment flung open and in strolled Lisa.
“Is everything okay in here?” she asked, Her face relaxing when she saw I was alive and well.
“Yeah, Lisa. Everything is fine…”
Someone walked in behind her and my throat went instantly dry when the person came to view. It was Alexander’s mother. She looked Gorgeous as always with her hair tied in a low bun. Her vivid eyes scanned the room before meeting mine with a frown.

glanced around the room, I knew there was no explanation I could give that would explain why my room looked like the inside of a club the morning after.
“Luna….” I began trying to form my words. “I didn’t know you were coming.” I swallowed knowing fully well she was going to criticize my guts.
“And if you had, You would have what? Cleaned up?” she asked with raised brows and upturned nose.
Shit, that was the wrong thing to say.
“Uh, y…yes.” I said for lack of a better thing to say… my head was completely blank. Being in the former Luna’s presence could do that to anyone plus her expression wasn’t helping either. She had a complete look of disapproval on her face that made me feel like a child that had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
I twisted my thumb in my hands trying to rack my brain for a good explanation.
“Why, so I wouldn’t find out that this is how you spend your day? I’m really disappointed in you Isabella.”
That one came as a blow. The last thing I wanted Alexander’s mom to be was disappointed in me. I didn’t want to admit it but her approval meant a lot to me.
“I’m really so…” I started to apologize.
“I thought our relationship was stronger than that.” She said with a hurt expression.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were having a sleep over and where is my invitation?” she side and my eyes widened in confusion.
I stood open mothed looking at the former Luna in confusion. I wasn’t sure I had heard her right. Was she offended I hadn’t invited her?
“You didn’t invite me, what you think I’m too old to party?”
I chuckled nervously as I shook my head.
“No, I’m just…”
“Didn’t picture me as someone who enjoyed partying and drinking?”
“Yeah.” I nodded.
“I was as young as you once you know and I absolutely loved drinking and partying but that didn’t stop me from fulfilling my duties. By the way next time call me to get you the good stuff. ” she said as she eyed the bottles that laid unassuming on the ground.
“Of course, I’ll be sure to do that.” I smiled. “How was your trip?” I
scrambled to ask.
“Keep it down.” Lisa groaned from behind me on the floor. “or go outside with whoever you are talking to, your voices are too loud.”
I kicked her and she jolted awake.
“Hey!” she started to protest but stopped abruptly when she noticed who it was that was standing in the middle of the room. With her eyes wide and jaw on the floor, she scrambled to her feet. She bowed down

“No, no. It’s okay. Don’t stress the baby.” The former Luna stopped Chloe from bowing.
“I hope you have not been drinking Chloe?”
“No, absolutely not.”
“Good.” She said before looking back at me.
“By the way how do you like your new study?”
“Oh, I love it. It’s perfect. How did you find it?”
“I have my ways.” She said with a mischievous grin.
“Alright then, I’ll leave you guys to it. Lisa, get two more maids to clean up this place.
“Yes Luna. I’ll let you guys freshen up.” Lisa said as she excused
herself.
Sasha and I both sighed in relief when she finally left.
“Why the hell didn’t you wake me?” Sasha glared.

door. I walked over to the door and opened expecting to see Lisa but instead was greeted Alexander standing at the door way looking rakishly handsome.
“Hey Luna.” He said, grabbing my by the waist into a passionate kiss.
“What was that for?” I asked with a grin on my face when he finally let me come up for air.
“you are irresistible.” He said with his blinding smile. He was so handsome, sometimes he felt unreal. “That’s the only reason.”
“So are you.” I said into his mouth, taking his lips into mine for one
last kiss.
“Come on in.” I said as I let go of him.
Chloe and Sasha bowed immediately he stepped in.
“oh, you’ve got company.,” Alexander stated and I noticed how he expression changed from light to dark when he noticed Sasha.
“Yeah, we had a sleepover last night. Sorry I didn’t inform you it was kind of impromptu.” I was saying to him but his eyes weren’t on me anymore. They were staring at something behind me. I followed his eyes and found what his eyes were trained on and I cringed at my stupidity.
Oh shit. I had completely forgotten to take out the bottles. I glanced back at him and he had a look of disapproval on his face. He shook his head at me and Wordlessly, he let go of me and walked out of my
room.
“Xander.” I followed him out to the hallway.
“Wait, let’s talk about this. Xander!” he didn’t so much as turn around

I sighed and went back to my room.
Lisa came in almost immediately with two other maids and started to clean up.
“One of the guards will take you home.” I said to Chloe when she
emerged from the bathroom. Ryder was supposed to come get her but I wasn’t sure that was such a good idea anymore. After the alcohol thing with Alexander, the last thing I needed was another reason to piss him off.

“I gotta go too. Wanna go say hi to Blake. ”

“I had so much fun. Thanks for having me.” She said, giving me a quick hug.
“me too!” I replied, hugging her back and before long my room was empty save for me and Lisa.
I took a shower and went to Alexander study. I found him in his study looking out his window, deep in thought.
I knew he could sense my presence but for some reason he refused to turn around.
