“Ahhhhhhhh!” Sasha and I screamed holding each other like our life depended on it as the ghost appeared on the screen bloodied with sunken cheeks and sunken eyes and rotten teeth without warning. I could feel Sasha’s heart beat almost as loud as mine.
“Can you guys keep it down? I’m trying to watch the movie.” Chloe said, rolling her eyes like we were two stubborn cubs running around the pack
If the girl wasn’t pregnant and I didn’t love her, I would have slapped the shit out of her.
We were supposed to have gone out for drinks to celebrate like Sasha suggested but the realization that Chloe wouldn’t be able to drink much because she was pregnant became a no factor. So We had decided to just stay in and watch some movies and eat popcorn
Chloe had suggested we watch a horror movie and while I wasn’t a fan of horror movies, I indulged her. It was weird because she’s was more of a kdrama girl than anything.
“How are you not scared out of your mind right now?”
I glared at her. She didn’t even like horror movies until now, was this part of her pregnancy cravings? I always thought cravings only had to do with food.
We’d all initially agreed on a Korean drama but she had gone against it and when Sasha and I had pushed back on it, she looked about ready to cry. Now I wished I had let her cry.
Sasha was looking at her like she was crazy too. How was she watching the same movie we were watching with such indifference?
“It’s really not that scary.
I paused the movie, completely done with the emotional rollercoaster. I was sure I’d be dreaming about being chased by a bloodied ugly ghost for a weak now.
“Okay, we are taking a break, I’m going to go make more popcorn. Sasha you are coming with me.”
I said to the brown head woman without giving her chance to refuse. There was no way I was going anywhere by myself.
I didn’t see Sasha follow me but I sensed her.
I opened the microwave and poured some of the corn on a bowl and started to prepare the popcorn.
“He’s in there, you idiot! Don’t go in!” Chloe yelled from the living room. Sasha and I glanced at each other with raised brows and confused expression.
“We gotta find a way to get her to stop watching that!” I told Sasha.
“I swear…” I started to say when, Sasha jumped suddenly.”
“What?” I jumped too and almost hit my head against the fridge.
Chloe burst out laughing.
“You scared me!” Sasha yelled as she placed her hands on her chest, panting.
“My bad.” Chloe grinned, knowingly.

She walked towards the fridge, opened it and brought out a bottle of water from inside.
“Y’all hurry up would you, you are missing all the good parts.”

“We need to suggest games or something. I’m not going back in there.” Sasha suggested.

I left the apartment and thirty minutes later showed up with some alcohol
“Where have you been? You missed the entire movie and what do you have there?” Chloe asked staring at the huge carton in my hand.

Sasha looked about traumatized when I glanced at her.
“You alright Sash?” I asked eyeing the girl up and down.
“next time, we choose the movie.” She said simply.
I burst out laughing.
“Now that we are done with movies let’s play few games
“Sure. What do you have in mind?” Chloe asked facing me.
“soooo, we got booze, how about truth or dare?
“I’m down.”
“Nah, too much of a hassle and knowing you, you might tell me to do something like run naked in the hallway.”
“I am offended by your accusation” I feigned hurt but all it did was make Chloe scoff..
“How about never have I ever?” Sasha suggested.

I noticed they were both getting along or at least Chloe was warming up to her a bit and I found it cute.

noticed Chloe giving her the death glare.
“I’ve got an idea on what she can take!”
“What?” Chloe and Sasha asked simultaneously.

I said, proud of my idea.
Both Sasha and Chloe’s brows furrowed in confusion.

“You are actually a horrible person.” Chloe whispered dramatically.

“Miss Isabella, it’s Lisa.” I heard the voice that had been muffled a bit louder now.
I stood up amd my eyes widened at mess in the apartment.

“Sasha!” I tapoe on the sleeping girl on the floor.
