My eyes widened in shock at Lisa’s revelation.
“Really? this is mine?” I asked, pointing at the ground.
Lisa nodded with a wide grin.
“Yes, This is yours Luna. It’s where you’ll deal with all your correspondence and receive visitors. Do you like it?”
“like it? Oh, my God, I love it.” I said, turning around to get a a better view of the places.
I walked over to my chair and sat. I placed both hands on the table and took everything in.
“Awesome. We are glad you like it” I grinned from hear to hear.
“Alright we have to get back to work do you need anything?” Lisa asked.
“Oh,
yes can I have some of the notes you took yesterday, so I can compare it with mine?”
“Of course. I’ll bring them right over. Anything else?”
“For now, that would be all. Thanks Lisa.”

Lisa and the Laundry maid left me alone in my study and I marveled at how beautiful and cozy my study was. It was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I was so giddy with excitement I couldn’t sit

cabinets at the far left of the room close to the entrance of the bathroom that I hadn’t noticed and inside were some empty office files. I couldn’t wait to fill them up.
The door to my study creaked opened thirty minutes later and in strolled Alexander, looking like a dream as usual.
“How’s my favorite Luna settling in?” he said as he got close enough to hug me. I was standing close to the shelf, skimming through the books.
“I’m your only Luna.” I replied, looking up at him, daring him to say otherwise.
“Only one and favorite one!” he said and kissed my forehead affectionately.
“Good.” I replied with a smile. I pulled away from his embrace a bit and I smacked his arm hard.
“Ouch!” Alexander yelped in response to me hitting his arm
“What was that for?”
“That was for not telling me about this. That you made me a study.” I gestured around the room.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I wanted it to be a surprise, that’s why I didn’t say anything.”
My face softened at his sweetness. Everyday I wondered how someone that used to be the bane of my existence could be so Sweet. It was surreal.
“Thank you. I love it!”
“I’m glad you do my Luna.” He said and he nuzzled my nose with his. I giggled at his cuteness and pulled away from him. Reluctantly, he let me go but he followed me as I walked towards my desk.

I leaned against my desk and he came to stand in front of me.

“Now, Alpha Alexander, take a seat. How may I help you today?”
“You can start by giving me a kiss.” He said as he pulled me back into his
embrace.
Giggling, I stood on my tip toes and pressed my lips against his and he took me into his mouth gently and sweetly, his lips caressing mine as they told me how much they missed me.
“That enough Help? I asked, breaking the kiss.
“For now.” His eyes twinkled with something that resembled admiration. “I doubt I can ever get enough help from you.”
I shook my head at him in amusement. “Perv!”
“Only for my mate!” I pushed him gently away and took a seat in on of the arm chairs.
He asked how I was settling in. I told him I hadn’t had enough time to settle in yet but that I was doing okay.
“How are you finding your new duties?” he rearranged his question.
“A little difficult. I’m not sure about a few things.”
“Like what?” he asked, leaning forward to tuck my hair behind my hear
“Well, I’ve gathered the requests of most of the pack members but how do I start distributing Help and giving out financial aides. Like for example this set of wolves are asking for repairs and security.” I showed him the documents containing individual problems of each pack.
“Oh, that’s for the financial department to figure out.”

“Oh, there’s a financial departmen I have to introduce you to. Mason is in charge. They are the wolves you talk to about things like this. They give you the budget they can afford for the month. That’s why you need to order the people’s needs in order of priority.”

“Tell you what, when you get settled in, I’ll introduce you to the financial department and the other sectors of the pack.”
I leaned back into my chair in thought.
“Wow, I didn’t realize so much work went into this. Did your mother have to do all of this too?
“Oh, yeah. She still does but not as much as before.”
“Wow, that’s Impressive.” I said in admiration of the woman.
“She’s a pretty impressive woman sometimes.”
Without warning, Alexander pulled my chair lose.
“What are you doing?” I giggled.
“This.” He said and brought my chin up to look at him before his lips found mine in a paste frenzied kiss. I moaned his mouth as he drew
me into his lap.
He fisted my hair with his hands and I groaned at the pleasurable pain. I could feel my body start to scream for more of him but I pulled away quickly.
“Alright, you gotta go Mr.” I said patting his chest.
“Why?”

He groaned but–pulled me into another kiss before reluctantly letting go of

“Bye.” I said, when he turned around to give me puppy dog eyes.
He rolled his eyes at me before closing the door behind him. I touched my lips and smiled at the lingering sensation of his lips on mine.
I began to do as he said, writing the people’s requests in order of requests. It was harder than I thought. How was I supposed to choose between so many requests which ones needed to be urgently taken care of. Do I place security at the top, which is obviously more important or financial aids for the old and frail?
I was still figuring all of this out when I got a call from Lisa through the intercom which I didn’t notice before, hat Chloe was here. The door opened before I hung up and Chloe strolled in with a big smile on her face.
“ouuu,” she exclaimed as she took my home office in. “when they told me you were in your study, I thought they were kidding. This is gorgeous. Like your own personal wolf cave.” She said in greeting.
“Right? Only this is strictly for conducting business.”
“Pshtt, it’s whatever you want it to be. You are Luna after all.”
I hugged her in response and led her to the couch.
“This is really nice. I’m so happy for you. Now you have something to do.” She said looking around nodding in approval at the décor.
“No more complaining about not having work to do now.”
“yeah but I think this might be more stressful than I initially thought, just one day in and I’m already stressed and confused.”
