Zora’s POV
“People murdered during that assault,” Eloise added, sounding enraged.
“I noticed Cruz was a jerk, but Ramsey committed something wrong. He split the East by accusing him of doing it, leading to widespread distrust of the accused. I’m curious how Cruz managed to escape out of this situation. Everything was wasted due to his intention to bring Anika into the Hand Estate,” she remarked, looking at me after.
“Do you believe Lori is involved?” she questioned me while looking furious. She already despised Lori. Consequently, it would get worse.
“I have no idea if she was a willing participant,” I stated, to Kara’s growling retort.
“Perhaps they believed that Casey would present her as tribute, too, so she could be accepted in,” she replied, but I shook my head in disagreement
“I don’t think that was her intention. Most likely, she was watching Casey. It was a great strategy. Anika would be admitted to the Hand manor by them. She will hopefully learn something while in the harem While providing us as a tribute, Casey, Shepherd, and Cruz would provide Lori space to serve as the head Luna of the East. It would be wonderful retribution after all, considering we were the ones who worked together to depose Ramsey as the Eastern leader,” I remarked, to Kara’s grumble.
“He was an incompetent leader who had resulted in far too many fatalities. Someone had to get rid of him,” Eloise remarked, just like my parents, her parents were murdered by the bastard. We all realized the truth, but no one discussed it since our parents were murdered for being traitors.

“So, you’re saying that he carried out all of this as retaliation and to get Anika to the North?” When Kara questioned, I nodded.
“They expected Darius to resemble his father. Anika is attractive and unmarried. She only had to charm him through their fuck sessions to gain his approval. They decided to discover another route since our men are good and we went along to wreck their chances.
They had to turn informants and maybe enlist the help of Sofia, Cindy, and other members of the Estate. They would notify us once we were finished with them.” When I remarked, Kara sat down since she was
sweating.
I walked to the closet to grab some shorts and a t–shirt to change into.
“Bring us an identical item. I like to get my hands dirty, so I cannot perform it in a dress,” Eloise remarked, seeming anxious to interrogate the ladies we had detained and Liam’s mother, Amy.
I searched through my belongings in the closet and found a few new shorts that I had not worn yet to give them a selection. I did the same with the t–shirts before delivering them the clothing as I left the closet.
They were placed on the bed and I gave them a choice. I started taking off my clothing so I could change into what I chose.
“What would he stand to gain from all of this?” Eloise enquired, wondering why Ramsey would go to such lengths. She had every right to inquire. If he only cared about getting back with our ex–partners, he only needed to run circles around them to humiliate and banish us, but I had a sneaking suspicion that damaging us was part of his larger strategy.
Ramsey’s goal was to destroy Darius, whilst I was aware that our parents were killed for the same purpose.
He might have attempted a more cunning but fatal resumption of the failed takeover.

I pondered who he was working for now or whether he was the original mastermind, because I knew the Western commander who had led the insurrection at the time had died.
They intended to remove the Hands from power. I was unsure of what Ramsey would have gotten in exchange for his dedication and commitment. He could never be Lord since there were so many more important persons in our society. He needed a reason to be this careful and thorough, so that reason had to come from being under someone else’s authority.
“Ramsey doesn’t have a chance to be the Lord, so he must have a greater gain in this,” I remarked, putting on the shorts.
“We’ll probably find out soon. We will take care of Amy first,” Kara stated. I agreed.
Since I wanted to understand why Ramsey was acting the way he was, Anika would have to be the final person I dealt with. Additionally, I hoped that Casey and Hardy would assist Darius.
I linked Darius after I had finished getting ready.
“How is it going?” I questioned him.
“They are on board,” he answered, making the mark on my inner thigh tingled, so I could sense his relief.
“Long live the King,” I replied, as happiness began to overflow through
- me.
“So, did Liam manage to catch anyone?” When he enquired, I nodded.
“Ramsey’s niece, Anika and a Western Luna, Olga,” I spoke to him, and he was silent.
“That’s excellent,” he eventually said.

“Anyway, Casey asked me to lock up Lori, but she is pregnant and about to give birth, so I put her in a room. I’m not sure whether you want to interrogate her,” I gasped in horror as he continued. Concerned by my response, Kara and Eloise instantly turned to face me.
“Why?” I linked Darius.
“Well, let’s just say that our suspicions were confirmed. Casey won’t take her word for it when she said she was terrified for her life. I may allow you to speak with him. Will you be up for it?” he asked me, as I was at a loss for words to express my feelings. However, I should speak up right away because I didn’t want him to believe I still had affection for Casey.
“Yes, I can see him tomorrow. Today will be hectic. Three women need to be questioned.” I stated.
“Amy?” he queried.
“Yeah,” I answered, then he gave me good luck. In addition, he forced me to swear that I wouldn’t overreact given my current condition. After letting him finish, I put my shirt on.
“What caused you to gasp?” I turned to face Eloise when she asked.
“Casey urged Darius to lock up Lori. She was employed by her father,” I concluded and Eloise grinned.
“Beautiful justice. While I am now bragging, I am aware that Lori is not Samanta. That bitch deserves it,” she remarked, then Kara joined in the laughter.
“I’ll pay her a visit when we finish this day,” Kara remarked with a smile. Honestly, I was reluctant to be in Lori’s position right now, but she wasn’t the issue.
After finishing our preparations, we entered the dungeons.
I praised Wilson after learning that he had detained Anika and Olga,

When we arrived at the cell where Amy would be interrogated, she appeared disoriented and worn out.
“Lady, Hand,” she addressed me. Her tone reflected confusion.
