Chapter 9 Losing Her Company
Isabelle stared at the tall building of Luck Jewelry.
Luck Jewelry was left by Isabelle’s grandfather, and she took over at the age of 20. In just three years, she developed and expanded the company. She used to support Brandon wholeheartedly, so she made him the CEO while she took the position of General Manager. Back then, she’d believed that they would be a family in the future. But in just ten days, everything had changed.
Isabelle clenched her fists and went straight to the shareholder meeting room on the top floor.
The door was open, so Isabelle walked in, only to find two people having sex on the meeting table.
Brandon had Tonya pinned on the table, passionately kissing her neck
Tonya moaned with pleasure. She gave Isabelle a triumphant look and faked a compassionate tone, “Brandon, this is Isabelle’s favorite table.”
Isabelle’s heart had died on the day of her abduction.
However, what Isabelle was seeing now still hurt her deeply.
In the past, Brandon would sit in the master seat at the table while Isabelle would sit next to him. She used to think they were the perfect one for each other and that they were deeply in love. She used to love drawing designs at this table, which was her grandfather’s legacy passed down to her.

Isabelle looked at Tonya and sneered. Since Tonya was picking a fight, Tonya could have it.
Isabelle picked up a glass of water and coldly splashed it on Tonya.
Tonya’s head was drenched, and she screamed and turned her head. “Isabelle?”
Brandon turned his head abruptly and froze at the sight of Isabelle.
A gleam of mixed feelings flashed in Brandon’s eyes.
Tonya nestled into Brandon’s arms and snapped him out of the trance. He looked down to see the wound on the hand that Tonya showed him intentionally.
Brandon frowned, asking, “Tonya, what happened to your right hand?”
Tonya glanced at Isabelle aggrievedly. “Yesterday, my parents and I took Isabelle home. Isabelle was angry and accidentally cut me…”
“What?” The wound wasn’t small, so Brandon instantly looked angry. “Isabelle, they were so nice to take you home, but you hurt Tonya. You’re out of line!”
Isabelle found this ridiculous, her heart bleeding.
Isabelle gazed at the man she once loved. They abducted her, and she was criticized for cutting Tonya’s hand.
Hiding in Brandon’s arms, Tonya looked gloating. She knew Brandon had a thing for the weak. In the past, Isabelle had been so outstanding that Brandon had become stressed. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have slept with Tonya.
Yesterday, Isabelle got the better of Tonya and Julia. Tonya figured now was her chance to get revenge.

“Brandon, don’t blame Isabelle,” Tonya sobbed.
Isabelle walked over, sneering, “Did you hear that? She told you not to blame me. Maybe it doesn’t hurt.”
Isabelle grabbed Tonya’s hand, pressing a pen hard on the wound.
Tonya squealed in pain.
“Isabelle!” Brandon’s face darkened with rage.
Isabelle showed him her right hand with a still–healing wound from being trampled. “An eye for an eye. When will you pay for taking my life?”
Brandon was intimidated by her stern face and felt somewhat guilty. If she hadn’t refused to give up control of the company, he wouldn’t have resorted to such measures.
Tonya sobbed pitifully, “Brandon, Isabelle blames us.”
Tonya was reminding Brandon that Isabelle was here to get back what used to belong to Isabelle.
Brandon broke out of the trance and said coldly, “You’re no longer the general manager of Tonya. What are you doing here?”
Tonya leaned against Brandon and showed the nametag on her chest, which read, “General Manager.”
Isabelle’s face turned colder.
Brandon once promised her, “Bella, you will always be my general manager.”
Isabelle sneered, her eyes shooting daggers at Brandon. Suddenly, she went to open the door, and all the shareholders were standing outside.

Apparently, everyone had heard Isabelle’s voice, so they didn’t dare come in.
Isabelle indifferently walked back to stand in the spot for the general manager, saying calmly, “Please take your seats.”
Isabelle had a majestic aura at work despite her gentle and delicate appearance. Everyone used to be afraid of her. But now, she had stepped down, so many shareholders ignored her instruction, looking at Brandon.
Brandon squinted at Isabelle coldly. He hated her imposing manner. She’d never shown him the respect he wanted in public.
Tonya soothed Brandon in a whisper, “Don’t be mad. Isabelle has always been like that.”
Isabelle ignored the two and said to the others with a sneer, “The legal representative of Luck Jewelry is me. I heard that today’s shareholder vote is about changing it to Brandon and Tonya. I’m not dead yet, and a forged will is invalid.”
Brandon looked at Isabelle and pursed his lips.
Tonya stood up and timidly presented a medical record. “Isabelle, we’re glad that you survived the incident. It’s just that you’ve been sick for a long time. Mr. Hodge forced you to stay home to rest because he had no other choice. With neurasthenia and severe psychological trauma, you can’t manage the company. The medical record is proof.”
Isabelle turned her head abruptly, and her sharp gaze gave Tonya a chill down the spine.
Tonya glanced at Brandon, but he didn’t say anything. Encouraged by his silence, she passed the medical record to Isabelle. “You can check it yourself.”

With a glance at the medical record, Isabelle looked up at Brandon in disbelief.
Isabelle used to suffer from short–term anxiety due to excessive stress while helping Brandon with the workload. That was what the medical record was about. Brandon was the only one who knew about the condition.
He gave the medical record to the Spencer family to help them frame her as having a severe mental illness.
She had sacrificed her best years for him, but he used her sacrifice as a weapon against her.
Isabelle laughed, almost laughing out of her tears.
Immediately, some shareholders exclaimed, “There’s a hospital seal on it. It’s real!”
“It’s fake! I’m speaking with a clear voice and logical thoughts. Can’t you see that?” Isabelle snapped.
Her composed demeanor had always been astonishing. The shareholders didn’t know how to respond for a moment.
A small shareholder secretly glanced at Tonya and spoke, “Isabelle, you’ve withheld our dividends and mismanaged the company. Everyone knows that the rapid growth of the company is all thanks to Mr. Hodge and our designer, Tonya!”
“That’s right. The company survived these years because of the orders Mr. Hodge had signed and Tonya’s popular jewelry designs. Even if you’re not sick, you’re not qualified to manage the company anymore.”
Isabelle paused and gave a cold smile.

To hear Brandon say that he loved her, Isabelle continuously created designs for Tonya. Brandon said that he wanted to make Tonya the company’s image, so Isabelle could have more time to be his wife.
But all of it was a lie!
“Isabelle, you managed the company too strictly, and you lack ability. You should focus on recovering from your illness! Those in favor of Isabelle stepping down, raise your hands!” someone said.
Several shareholders raised their hands, and others followed suit.
Tonya looked at Isabelle, gloating.
Isabelle’s face turned pale as she was disappointed. But it was not difficult to understand. The Spencer family was currently in a strong position, and she had been slandered as mentally ill. Who would take her side?
The Spencer family had planned this for a long time. Isabelle realized that she was unlikely to win today, but she would take back the company sooner or later.
Brandon stood up and announced, “The change of the company’s legal representative is successful.
“I’d like to appoint Tonya as the general manager, and everyone should follow her lead in the future!”
Tonya looked at Isabelle smugly and walked over, taking Isabelle’s arm. “Isabelle, take care of yourself. You can return to the company in
the future.”
Isabelle slapped Tonya’s hand away. “Don’t touch me. I feel disgusted.”
