Glenda laughed in a nasty way over the phone.
Isabelle looked down and made an observation. “I think he’s rich.”
Glenda squinted. “If he meets your definition of being rich, he must be super rich. The richest four families in Donsborough are the Levine family, the Herman family, the Hodge family, and the Lopez family. If his last name starts with L, and he’s either from the Levine family or the Lopez family. You’ve met both sons of the Lopez family. The Levine family is mysterious, prestigious, and has many family members, but you’ve met all the ones about our age, right?”
“Hmm.” Isabelle used to attend all kinds of events, so she’d met many people from the Levine family of her generation.
But none of them looked like her mysterious husband in terms of figure and aura.
“Maybe he doesn’t exist officially. You know, like the leader of a mysterious gang.” Glenda started to use her imagination.
Isabelle ignored her and looked down to read the news. The previous trending topics about the funeral were back again, and the event was causing more and more attention. She asked, “Glenda, is the news your work?”
“Yes! That’s my strong suit, isn’t it? I have money, but I don’t want to spend it. I just want to beat the Spencer family with technology!”
Isabelle rolled her eyes at those words. But she knew George still had some cards up to his sleeve!

Feeling tired, Isabelle ended the call with Glenda and then was about to take a shower.
However, Warren suddenly came in!
Isabelle was surprised. She’d thought they could sleep in separate rooms tonight. She looked guarded and stared at the tall, noble figure. “Why did you come in?”
Warren started to unbutton his shirt and gazed at her, saying, “You smell too nice.”
Isabelle remained silent.
“Besides, this is my room.” Warren raised an eyebrow.
Isabelle didn’t know what to say.
She wished to rush outside right away.
Isabelle bent down to pick up the phone on the bedside table. It was displaying her chat interface with Glenda, and she accidentally clicked on a video sent by Glenda.
The title said, “Research.” Isabelle thought it was about jewelry design at first, but then weird sounds came from the video!
Isabelle looked down, and her face instantly blushed.
What the hell was Glenda doing?!
Isabelle tried to turn it off, but she was so nervous that she somehow ended up turning up the volume.
Warren stood there with his hands in his pocket, gazing at Isabelle with interest.

Isabelle felt so embarrassed. She hastily pounced onto the bed and covered the phone.
Isabelle pulled up the quilt to cover it. Still, she couldn’t cover the passionate sound.
In the awkward atmosphere. Warren walked over, gazed at her alluring red face, and swallowed. “What are you watching on my bed?”
“N–nothing! It’s just some video about jewelry!” Isabelle made up something, holding the quilt hard.
Her cheeks were as red as tomatoes, and she looked so helpless.
Warren said mischievously, “Since it’s about jewelry, how about we watch it together?”
Isabelle realized that he’d seen her through.
She must refuse.
Isabelle looked up, still blushing with embarrassment. “No, I don’t think you know much about jewelry…”
Warren’s breath suddenly became rapid.
He found this silly girl cute when she lied to him with a serious face.
“You’re wrong. I’m an expert on it,” Warren chortled. He reached his hand under the quilt and bent down to coo in her burning ear, “It looks like you took the thing I said in the study very seriously. You’re doing research already. Good.”
Isabelle was lost for words, thinking, “What the hell is he talking about? I’m not doing research!”

aside, and said in a husky voice, “My mom is staying here tonight. You can sleep here, and I’ll sit on the sofa.”
Isabelle glanced at his empty bed and felt embarrassed. She wished she didn’t have to sleep on it.
Isabelle went into the bathroom with her phone, intending to vent her anger on Glenda.
But Glenda messaged her first: “Did you watch the video? No matter who your mysterious husband is, he’s rich. Moreover, you’re having a difficult time now. Bella, you gotta learn some skills, which might come in handy. He might turn out to be a prince. At worst, he’s a gang leader!”
“Skill your ass!” Isabelle cursed inwardly.
Furious, Isabelle blacklisted Glenda.
After a while, Isabelle came out of the bathroom sneakily. Only one light left was on in the room, and Warren was sitting on the sofa with his eyes closed. His face was still covered by the mask.
Isabelle looked at the mask and had a strong urge to take it off to see his real face…
Suddenly, the noise of someone sneaking came in from the outside.
Isabelle figured it must be her mother–in–law. To avoid waking up Warren, she hurriedly went to bed.
In the darkness, Warren opened his eyes to stare at her… He was in a good state.
Warren had an illness, which not only made it hard for him to fall asleep but also caused him to sleepwalk and even have hallucinations. He hadn’t slept for a long time. A few years ago, someone saved his life

On the night Isabelle crawled onto his bed, Warren somehow fell asleep.

They also claimed her words at yesterday’s funeral to be insane talks.
Then, they twisted some facts about the photo of Tonya and Brandon at the city hall yesterday. They looked innocent again!
“Bella, is your signature on the will to change the legal representative of Luck Jewelry real?”
Isabelle zoomed in on the signature to take a closer look, and the memories that flashed back in her mind gave her heartache. “Before all of this happened, Brandon coaxed me into signing some blank papers. I trusted them so much back then, so it didn’t occur to me that he might use my signature to steal my company!”
“Tonya has become the legal representative of the company, and she’s also the second biggest shareholder. She’s now holding the company you built up and sleeping with your ex, but she still smeared your name. It looks like the Spencer family is determined to ruin you!” Glenda gritted her teeth with hatred.
Isabelle sneered, “It’s not that easy to steal my company. Luck Jewelry is holding a meeting of shareholders today. I’m not dead yet, so why would the will take effect?”
