Chapter 410 The Art of Control
Matthew was left alone in the room while a surge of anger coursed through him with nowhere to go. He slammed his fist onto the table in frustration.
The phone on the table rang, interrupting his thoughts. He took a moment to compose himself before picking it up.
It was a call from Braxton. It had been a while since they last spoke, which was ever since Matthew arrived in Floravalca.
Matthew hesitated for a few seconds, but for once, he did not hang up the call. He answered it.
Braxton’s voice, heavy with anger, echoed from the other end. “Matthew, have you lost your mind? How can you vanish without a trace at a time like this?”
Matthew held his forehead with one hand as a wave of regret and guilt washed over him for not finding. Freya after so many days.
“I’m sorry, Braxton. I received news that Frey is in Floravalea.”
Braxton’s anger did not subside. “What? Floravalca? Frey has already contacted us. She’s trapped in Kundin now! Can’t you inform us when you get news? What’s with the solo act, Matthew? She’s my sister. I can’t let her take any risks! If you don’t want to help, that’s fine, but you can’t act recklessly!”
Matthew sat upright as his brows furrowed. “Frey is in Kundin?”
Braxton relayed the information he had received to Matthew.
“Radley has already gone to Kundin. The Monaghan Group has been established there for a long time and has some influence. You should hurry back. The auction is about to start!”
Matthew pursed his lips and remained silent.
“I’m sorry, Braxton. I have to go to Kundin!”
Braxton became anxious. “Why are you going to Kundin? We can’t alert the enemy now. Radley will find
her!”
Matthew’s eyes darkened. “Don’t worry. I will find Frey before he does!”
With that, he hung up the phone without waiting for Braxton’s angry response, took a deep breath, and looked toward the office door.
“Someone, prepare the plane to Kundin.”
The next day.
At 7 am. Freya struggled to get up and wash up. After changing her clothes, she sat on the bed.
There was a noise at the door. Freya looked up to see Jarnic walking in with an indifferent expression.
Freya had a mocking smile on her face.

“I thought you were so angry yesterday that you would lock me up for three to five days. I didn’t expect you to come after just one night.”
Jamie stood in the room, looking down at Freya.
“Freya, I don’t have time for your little games. I thought about it last night. Since you’re so disobedient, I’ll just have to teach you a lesson.”
As he spoke, he gestured to the door, “Come in.”
Freya frowned, wondering what Jamie was up to.
Two men in white doctor’s coats quickly entered the room.
Jamie coldly looked at Freya. “These are the two new assistants I found for you.”
Freya knew these two men were here to monitor her.
One of them was holding a tray with a syringe on it.
“Inject her, Jamie ordered.
The two men immediately approached, and Freya stepped back warily.
“Jamie, what are you trying to do?”
Jamie said, “Just some drugs to make you behave, Miss Kaufmann. If you’re so scared, you shouldn’t have provoked me in the first place.”
The two men had already reached Freya and were about to grab her.
Freya gritted her teeth, looking at the blue liquid in the syringe.
She wasn’t sure what it was, but she knew she couldn’t let them inject it into her.
“Jamie! If you dare to do this, I will…”
“Stop treating Edward, right?” Jamie sneered, his face cold and handsome. “Freya, you can’t keep crying wolf. Do you think that if you keep threatening me, I will be helpless? Everything that’s happening now is your own doing.”
As the men approached, Freya lashed out.

Freya’s eyes widened. As she panted, she glared at Jamie with her eyes full of hatred.
“Get lost!”
Jamie was not bothered by Freya’s anger at all. In fact, it excited him even more.

The masculine desire to conquer was stirring in Jamie’s heart. He even noticed that he was paying too much attention to Freya.
The two doctors on the ground had already gotten up.

“Bring me the thing.” Jamie ordered.
With one hand restraining Freya, he took the syringe handed over by the doctor with the other.
Freya’s eyes widened in fear.
“Let me go.”
In the next moment, a sharp pain shot through her neck.
Immediately, the room seemed to spin as a wave of nausea washed over her, and the entire room seemed to be moving.
Jamie’s face blurred, and amidst the colorful lights, there seemed to be a fairy-like laughter in her ears.
Freya’s body felt light, but the nauseating feeling did not subside. She pushed Jamie away and staggered to
her feet.
The originally hard ground also became deformed, as soft and wobbly as a piece of constantly undulating. jelly.
Freya collapsed to the ground with her pupils gradually losing focus. She soon found that her limbs had disappeared.

Jamie’s voice sounded out nearby. “Icy Sea’ is the latest drug developed here in Kundin. I didn’t plan to use it on you.”
Freya couldn’t speak. Jamie’s voice gradually became ethereal and hazy.
