Freya found herself under the intense gaze of Jamie, the man who had just stepped forward and was swiftly kicked to the ground. Observing the interaction between Freya and Jamie, everyone else held back, not daring to approach for the time being.
Freya clenched her teeth, “I will inform Edward.”
The atmosphere instantly grew tense.
A few seconds later, Jamie broke into laughter, “So, what kind of deal are you proposing?”
Freya responded, “I won’t reveal your deeds to Edward, and in return, I’ll give you The Compendium of Medical Wisdom. How does that sound? You’ve always desired that book, haven’t you?”
The smile on Jamie’s face gradually faded.
“Freya, are you treating me like a fool?”
“That book isn’t in your possession at all but in Radley’s, correct?”
Freya’s eyes narrowed sharply. How did Jamie know the book was in Radley’s hands?
Seeing Freya fall silent, Jamie sneered. “Are you still attempting to lie to me even when you’re on the brink of death? Freya, your little lover has put the The Compendium of Medical Wisdom’ back up for auction. This time, it’s a global auction. I suspect he’s trying to lure us out so that he can locate you.”
Freya felt a chill run down her spine. Her last bargaining chip had been rendered useless by Jamie.
Jamie coldly asked, “Do you have any other deals to propose, Miss Qin?”
Seeing the eager looks of the men surrounding her, Freya clenched her jaw and abruptly raised her head.
“Ten days! Give me ten days, and I will definitely have a treatment plan for Edward!”
Jamie stared at Freya, his brows furrowing slightly.
He knew very well that she was likely lying to him, but staring into those bright and piercing eyes, he felt inexplicably irritated.
“Lock her up first,” Jamie ordered the man next to him.
Freya was hoisted up from the ground by Monkey and taken back to the bedroom on the first floor.
After depositing Freya into the bedroom, Monkey returned to the third floor.
In the room on the third floor, the other men had already departed, leaving only Jamie standing quietly in the room.
Monkey cautiously approached the door. “Mr. Strategist, Moonblade has reported that she has arrived near the hotel where the Caltun auction will be happening.”
Jamie nodded. “How is everything going over there?”
Monkey respectfully replied, “Moonblade reported that the security of the auction venue is jointly managed by the Monaghan and Kaufmann Groups, and many more men are patrolling while undercover,

– Jamie’s eyes flashed with a hint of murderous intent. “Black Hawk. It seems he also covets that book.”
The man looked grave.

After receiving Freya’s call, he immediately left Floravalca and headed for Kundin. When he thought of everything he had heard on the phone, his heart felt as if it was being set on fire.
It seemed that Floravalea was just a decoy!
The Japanese-style villa in Kundin was where Freya truly was.
In Freya’s last call, she said she was on the run and would be meeting him in the capital of Kundin.
Radley was on edge, wishing he could immediately tear Jamie to pieces.
Two hours later, Radley landed at the airport of the capital of Kundin.
The capital of Kundin was also located in the middle of the country, so he immediately went to the police station upon arrival.
There were several Monaghan Group branch offices in Kundin. As their presence greatly boosted the local economy, anyone from the company would be treated with great respect by local officials.

The chief was going to arrange for Radley to stay in a hotel, but he refused as he had a villa in Kundin.
Connor had also arranged for some of their men to fly into Kundin in batches.
By the time Radley arrived at the villa, there were already more than a dozen men waiting in the courtyard.
“Go and rest. Be on standby,” Radley instructed.
He then strode into the villa.
At 7 p.m., Inken called.
“I’ve checked Jamie’s family history. While he was born and raised in Caltun, he disappeared for a few years when he was fifteen. That was probably when he joined that organization!”
“Jamie…” Radley’s voice was icy cold. “I’ve arrived in Kundin.”
Inken asked over the phone, “Why did you go to Kundin? Didn’t you say that Freya was in Floravalea?”
Radley’s eyes were heavy as he replied, “I received a call from Freya saying she escaped from Jamie, but she probably didn’t succeed. She told me she was in Kundin.”
“She didn’t escape?” Inken was worried. “Okay, I’ll send people to Kundin right away to meet up with your people. Kundin has always been a tough place, and guns are allowed, so be careful!”
Radley’s eyes darkened as he hummed in acknowledgment. “How are the preparations for the auction?”
Inken replied, “The auction officially starts the day after tomorrow. Don’t worry. As long as they dare to show up this time, I’ll make sure to catch them all!”

Matthew was in a villa, furious..
