Sylvia had been strong her whole life, but her only weakness was her children.
She had held on for a week, trying not to break down. However, she couldn’t hold back anymore when she saw her son approaching.
“Brax! Brax, the doctor came today. He said Frey might become a vegetable because of excessive blood loss and lack of oxygen to the brain!”

Braxton felt a chill that caused him to shudder and rush through his body.
“Mom, don’t be afraid. The doctor said it’s just a possibility, which means there’s still a chance for her to recover, right?” Braxton could only comfort his mother in a low voice.
His eyes were bloodshot as he looked through the observation window at his sister lying in the hospital bed.
At the end of the corridor, steady footsteps could be heard.
Braxton turned his head and saw Radley walking toward them from the end of the corridor.
In his mind, he immediately recalled their previous conversation. After receiving a call from Sylvia, Braxton asked Ryan for the details because he couldn’t come to Vroria in time due to the heavy rain.

A normal Bentley with its windows rolled down was parked by the road.
Radley’s face was icy.
“Mr. Monaghan, should we grab a few more doctors who treated Miss Monaghan to ask them. some questions?”
“No need.” Radley’s eyes were calm.
The doctor just now was Freya’s attending physician, and Radley had understood what he said.
There was still hope for Freya to wake up with proper treatment.
“Go and find the best doctors who specialize in her condition and bring them to Vroria First Hospital. Radley looked at the nearby hospital building with a heavy gaze.
He had the urge to forcefully barge in and stay by Freya’s side, but that wouldn’t be what she
wanted.
Freya cared about her family. However, her mother and brother now all hated him to the bone.
