Chapter 253 Freya Was Attacked

Even Freya, who had always been good at enduring, couldn’t help but cry out in pain.
When Radley looked down, he saw a knife sticking out of her chest, and blood continuously seeped out of
the wound!
People in the night market immediately started screaming when they saw the situation.
“There is a killer on the loose!”
The crowd panicked, and it became even more chaotic here as there were already many people.
Radley protected Freya and immediately prepared to take her to the hospital.
However, it seemed that the front was already in chaos due to the screams and shouts.
People kept bumping into Radley’s arms and body as they passed by.
Anxious, he held Freya tightly and lowered his head, only to see blood still seeping out of her chest.
Before he could say anything, he felt a warmth in his hand, and his expression suddenly changed.
There was blood on his leg, too!
When a boy bumped into his arm again, Freya turned her head, her cold eyes filled with chilling killing intent. “Get lost!”
The night market was in disarray, and Radley wondered if someone had intentionally caused it. He pursed his lips and only thought for three seconds.
In Vroria, the only family capable of resolving the current situation was the Marshalls. He immediately took out his phone and called Ryan..
Ryan was surprised when he received Radley’s call.
“Mr. Monaghan, do you need something? Sorry, but I don’t have time to talk to you now. I’m waiting for my cousin’s call. Because of Freya, the Marshalls had a bad impression of Radley. Ryan started to hang up after he finished speaking.
But then, Radley’s tense and gloomy voice rang out.
“Freya and I are in the night market right now. She was attacked! But there’s a stampede happening in the night market right now. You need to come and pick us up immediately!”
“You’re with Frey?” Ryan exclaimed. “What happened to her?!”
He stayed on the call and started walking quickly.
This was all so sudden that Ryan didn’t have time to think about anything else.
In the living room, Sylvia and Ashley, who also heard the commotion, were stunned.
Sylvia’s face turned pale in an instant. She stood up and followed Ryan outside.

Ashley hurriedly approached and held Sylvia’s hand. “Sylvia, Ryan is already heading over. Let’s not make the situation even more messy. We should go straight to the hospital!”
Sylvia’s face turned ashen, and her hand trembled slightly by her side.

Sylvia felt her head spinning.
Radley carried Freya out of the night market and arrived at the car on the side of the road. He carefully laid Freya flat on the back seat.
After he turned on the navigation system, he found the nearest hospital and stepped on the accelerator. Although it only took a dozen minutes, it felt like an eternity.
Radley kept looking back at the unconscious person in the back seat, his face tense. His heart felt like it. was hanging by a thread.
He could only hope nothing worse would happen to her.
After running several red lights, Radley finally arrived at the hospital.
The car broke through the hospital gate and stopped in front of the emergency building.
The security guard hurriedly followed.
In the emergency building, nurses and doctors rushed out and helped Freya onto a stretcher, pushing her inside.
“And she is a pregnant woman!” The emergency doctor was dumbfounded.
Radley’s hand trembled slightly, his eyes fixed on Freya.
Freya’s face was now pale without a trace of color.
After Radley watched her being pushed into the operating room and the door closing, it felt like a door slamming shut in his heart, causing him to palpitate.
It felt like something extremely important was about to leave him.
As Radley stood waiting in front of the operating room door, his expression was as calm as water.
Ten minutes later, hurried footsteps sounded, and the Marshalls arrived.
Sylvia’s hands were quivering.
“Frey! Where is Frey?!”
Radley tightly clenched his fists when he turned his head and saw Sylvia.
“Mrs. Marshall, Frey is currently being treated inside.”
Ryan’s face looked grim. “How is she now?!”
Radley silently shook his head.

On the side, Sylvia’s gaze turned cold when she saw the bloodstains on Radley’s body.
“Aren’t you supposed to be in Caltun? Why did you come to Vroria? Did you bring Frey out?!”
Sylvia gritted her teeth in hatred. She felt like she was about to faint from worrying about her daughter, but her rationality told her she had to hold on.
But when facing Radley, Sylvia no longer held herself back.
“Radley Monaghan! Does my daughter owe you something? Couldn’t you just stay in Caltun? Why did you chase after her to Vroria? Haven’t you tortured her enough before? Why are you still bothering her now?!”
Sylvia’s eyes were filled with hatred.
“If anything happens to Frey today, it will be because of you! If something happens to her, I will never let you go! Even if it means sacrificing the Kaufmann Group, I will make you pay!”
Sylvia heavily huffed as she warned Radley.
The door of the operating room swung open to reveal an anxious nurse hurriedly walking out. Ashley immediately stepped forward to stop her.
“Nurse, could you please tell me how the patient is doing?”
The nurse was in a rush. “It’s still uncertain at the moment. The patient has lost a significant amount of blood and is severely injured. Please excuse me. I need to quickly get some blood bags. We can’t afford any delays with that. Please step aside.”
Ashley immediately made way for her.
Another half hour passed, and nurses were going in and out. Some of them carried blood bags, while the others were frowning. The atmosphere in the corridor grew heavy,
Sylvia’s complexion became increasingly pale, and Ryan’s expression turned grimmer.
When the door of the operating room opened again, a woman dressed in a nurse attire walked out.
“The fetus in the pregnant woman’s abdomen is in danger now. We can only choose to perform a cesarean section. We will need the signature of a family member here.”
Sylvia stood up from the chair next to her. Ashley tried to support her, but Sylvia waved her off.
“Ashley, don’t worry. I can hold on.”
Sylvia held the pen tightly and signed her name on the same document with great force, almost ripping. the paper.
“Can I know how my daughter is now?” Sylvia, with a pale face, peered at the nurse.
The nurse frowned and looked at Sylvia with some sympathy. “The patient’s condition is not good right. now, but please rest assured, we will do our best!”
Not good…
Ashley hurriedly added, “Didn’t you say she lost a lot of blood earlier? Will performing a cesarean section. now affect her?!”
