Chapter 245 Made Up Her Mind
With her eyes wide, Freya heard a crisp voice outside the door.
“Radley, are you there?”
It was Danna’s voice!
Freya’s big eyes were filled with caution, but Radley’s expression softened in an instant as he strode toward the door.
Freya felt her heart sink as she watched his figure.
A strange pain that pierced her nerves went straight into her head.
When Radley opened the door. Danna was standing outside, smiling brightly. She looked surprised when she saw Freya in the room. The brilliant smile soon turned into a triumphant one.
“Freya, why are you still here after you’ve been abandoned by Radley? Are you not embarrassed?”
Freya stared blankly at the scene in front of her. Just what was happening?
As Radley and Danna stood together, the man threw Freya a cold look. “Freya, I never loved you. I love Danna”

A cry of surprise rang out, and Freya suddenly opened her eyes.
Her eyes were filled with deep pain.
After resting for a while, she finally came back to her senses.
The dim light on the bedside was still on. Freya sat up gently and touched her abdomen.
Thank goodness, the baby was still there!
But that nightmare just now….
Sitting up in bed, she realized that her back was soaked in sweat.
She covered her left chest as feelings of despair and sadness from the dream flowed through her heart like a river, suffocating her completely.
It was a dull pain. But even though it wasn’t sharp, it seemed to have drained all her life and vitality.
Freya tightly pursed her lips. Why did I suddenly have such a dream?
The room in the dream was unfamiliar, but now that she was recalling the dream, it felt strangely familiar!

Freya took a deep breath, and the pain in her chest slowly dissipated. However, the feeling of despair still made her heart palpitate.
She made up her mind that no matter what, she wouldn’t let Radley know about the baby for now.
The next morning.
As Freya didn’t sleep well all night because of the nightmare, she had dark circles under her eyes when she came downstairs early in the morning.
Sylvia was already dressed properly downstairs when she had a surprised face upon seeing Freya coming
down.
“Why are you up so early? Are you going out again?
Freya shook her head. “No, I just couldn’t sleep. But where are you going, Mom?”
Sylvia smiled. “I made an appointment with a few friends to do some beauty treatments today.”
After a while in the dining room, Braxton also came downstairs. Now that Braxton and Isabella were engaged, he exuded a vibrant energy.
“Mom, Frey.”
The three of them sat down for breakfast. When Freya thought of Jamie, she lifted her head and looked at Braxton.
“Brax, I introduced a friend to the Monaghan Network Security Department. He should be going for an interview today. Let me know the result later, okay?”
“What’s this? Are you asking your brother to give your friend special treatment?” Sylvia laughed.
Monaghan Network Security Department was not a crucial department in the Kaufmann Group, so Sylvia and Braxton didn’t mind even if they used their influence to help.
Freya shook her head, smiling. I believe in my friend’s abilities. With his skills, he can definitely get into the department on his own. I just want to know the result. I’m not asking Brax to give him special
treatment.”
“What’s your friend’s name?”
“Jamie Fraser. He is Edward Fraser’s brother and a graduate of a prestigious university.” Freya smiled.
“Alright.” Braxton nodded. “I will personally interview him then.”
It would be a waste for someone of Jamie’s educational background and abilities to be in the Network. Security Department.
Freya thought for a moment and nodded. “Sure.”
After breakfast, Braxton went to the company, and Sylvia went out to do beauty treatments with her friends.
As for Freya, she curled up on the couch, chatting with Isabella on her phone.
Isabella requested, ‘Frey, help me choose a few wedding dresses.

Freya was shocked looking at the flood of pictures.
Freya asked, ‘Isn’t it too early to choose a wedding dress now? The wedding is scheduled for March next year, no?”
Isabella sent a rolling eyes emoji.
Then, she explained, Frey, it’s already the end of the year. Is March still far away? Besides, I need to choose the design first and then have it custom-made. It will take a few months for the handmade sewing.
Freya sighed and muttered to herself, “Getting married sure is a chore.”
She carefully looked at three design styles and picked one to send back to Isabella.
After sending the message, Freya lay on the couch, frowning at her abdomen.
According to the timeline, there was still a little over half a month until the due date.
Originally, she planned to hide the fact that she was having this baby from Radley. However, things didn’t go as planned. She didn’t expect that she and Radley would become a couple now.
Radley had climbed into the Kaufmann Residence after not seeing her for three days. It would be impossible if she wanted to disappear for two months!
What should I do?
Freya narrowed her eyes. This was Radley’s child, but then again… Last night’s dream didn’t feel like it was just a dream.
She always felt that the pain and heartache in that dream were too real as if they were connected to the memories she had lost.
So, unless she really married Radley, she had to keep the identity of this child a secret!
Freya pursed her lips and thought for a while. There was only one solution now.
She had to leave Caltun.
But before leaving Caltun, she had many things to do.
At noon, after having lunch at home, Freya left home and drove to the West Geft Joint Department.
She first went to her Brandon’s office.
Brandon was surprised to see Freya here. “Why did you come here when you should be taking care of your baby?”
Brandon looked disapprovingly at Freya’s pregnant belly with concern.
Freya smiled. “Master, do you have time after work today? I want to go to the traditional courtyard and see Mrs. Lane.”
Freya had already thought about it. If she left Caltun, she could only choose to give birth in Vroria,

Freya planned to check her master’s wife’s condition. As she was about to be away for two months, she couldn’t help but worry that Trisha’s health would deteriorate during her absence.
Brandon nodded. “Sure, but are you going to the traditional courtyard just to see her?”
Freya smiled. “Master, I’m planning to go to another city for a while. I probably won’t be able to come back in a short time, so I came to see you and Mrs. Lane.”
“Why do you have to go to another city to give birth?” Brandon frowned. “You’re almost eight months pregnant now. Can you handle all this moving around?”
