Chapter 195 The Child is Mine
Amidst the chatter, Radley, who was not far away, also looked over in this direction.
The crowd made it difficult for him to see clearly, but he vaguely saw Freya among them.

Freya sneered. “Stella, your stupidity drove the Williams away from Caltun years ago. I never expected that you still haven’t learned your lesson after all these years!”
“Hmph, don’t brag. Our family left Caltun because–the branch in Capitael was doing well, and we became the headquarters there. Do you really think it was your Kaufmann family that forced us to leave? Who do. you think you are!”
Freya pinched her brow in frustration.
Stella’s way of arguing differed from most people in the hall; she had the style of a street fighter and was very aggressive.
If it were any other time, Freya wouldn’t care too much and would just slap her and kick her out.
But today, he knew that Wilson was watching them closely!
If she got into an argument with Stella now, it would be seen as two shrews fighting in Wilson’s eyes!
But the more Freya ignored Stella, the more Stella felt that the other party was afraid of her.

Radley had somehow walked up to her.
His deep eyes were filled with tenderness and doting.
“What’s wrong? Is this your lover?” Stella asked.
Freya’s earlier demeanor provoked Stella. Feeling that she had the upper hand, she continued to press on.
“The child in your belly is his?”
Though she said so, there was still a hint of jealousy in her eyes as she looked at Radley,
Back when they were at Evergreen University, the men she liked always treated Freya like a goddess.
Ever since then, she had hated Freya, wishing she would disappear from this world!
She wanted to see her fall from her pedestal and become a woman despised by everyone!
Now that she heard Freya got married, divorced, and was pregnant, Stella felt like she had finally vented her frustrations.
The surrounding crowd fell silent.
Was Stella out of her mind?
The Kaufmann Group and the Monaghan Group had stood tall in Caltun for many years, but they rarely took action to drive a company away directly.
But then they understood Braxton’s actions back then.
This Stella was just too foolish!
Radley looked up, his deep eyes showing a cold light as he said nothing, merely observing the situation.
Stella found it harder to continue under his intimidating gaze.
She felt like his eyes could pierce through her soul, leaving an icy sensation in her body.
Her speech became stuttered.
“Are you done?” Radley asked coldly.
Stella widened her eyes. The man before her looked somewhat familiar, but she couldn’t recall who he was at that moment. She gritted her teeth and tried to act tough.
“What’s

business?!”
Radley’s eyes turned cold, and he laughed softly. “Finish what you have to say and then get lost. The Williams is lucky to have a daughter like you. Even if you hide in Capitael, I won’t let anyone who insults her off the hook!”
Although there was a smile on his face, the chilling tone in his words made people shudder!
The people around fell silent.
Radley’s words carried much weight, and he was always a man of his word.
Stella became nervous. “Who are you?”
Someone nearby sneered softly.
“She couldn’t even recognize Mr. Monaghan; the Williams is unlucky to have her.”
“Previously, the Williams couldn’t stay in Caltun because of Stella’s actions. This time, they might be unable to stay in Florin too.”
Stella froze upon hearing the whispers around her.
Mr. Monaghan? The man from the Monaghan Group?
His face overlapped with the one she had seen in the financial magazine. Stella’s heart sank, feeling a chill all over her body.
If her father discovered that she had clashed with Radley, he would surely kill her!
Stella stood like a stone, stuck in place, unable to move around.
Radley looked down at Freya, his eyes filled with tenderness and doting.
“Why didn’t you call me when you encountered someone like this?”

“What if you got angry?” He glanced coldly at Stella beside him. “This kind of person is not worth risking your life for.”
The people around them understood Radley’s attitude toward Freya and started discussing.
“With Mr. Monaghan’s attitude, does that means Miss Kaufmann’s child is his?”
“Isn’t it said that Miss Kaufmann divorced Mr. Monaghan when she got pregnant?”
“What do you know? They are on good terms now. The divorce might have been just a heated argument. Being divorced for a month doesn’t mean they won’t be together again.”
The discussions reached Freya’s ears.
She anxiously raised her head, frowning as she looked at Radley.
His face, usually cold and composed, showed anger now, and his cold jade–like face only softened when facing Freya.
He looked around at the people.
“The child Freya is carrying is mine. From now on, I don’t want to hear anyone gossiping about her behind her back. Caltun has been very peaceful lately, but the Monaghans don’t mind having a few more enemies.”
The people around immediately chuckled.
“What are you saying, Mr. Monaghan?”
“We have never said anything bad about Miss Kaufmann behind her back.”
“Miss Kaufmann is not only beautiful but also talented. They are a perfect couple.”
Freya became anxious. If this misunderstanding spread, the whole of Caltun might think this way!
Was Radley out of his mind?
She tugged at his sleeve.
Radley slightly bent down and leaned in closer to her.
“What’s wrong?”
Freya’s voice was low as she gritted her teeth.
“Radley, why are you saying such things? If you say things like this, everyone will misunderstand. You should clarify it quickly, or else I’ll do it myself!”
Freya’s attitude was resolute. She would never allow this “rumor” to spread!
Radley’s eyes flickered slightly.
He didn’t want to clarify.
There was a subtle confrontation between the two.
In the eerie atmosphere, applause suddenly erupted from outside.
Everyone turned to look, and a tall foreign man was walking towards them.
The man appeared to be in his late thirties, with a handsome appearance.
“Mr. Monaghan is willing to confront anyone who slanders his wife for the sake of love. He is someone worth befriending.”
