Chapter 161 Atoning For Their Crimes
Brisa glanced at the two beaten-up individuals on the ground before smiling at Freya.
“Freya, how do I look in this outfit? Isn’t it beautiful? It’s a limited edition piece that I managed to snatch at a high price a few days ago. It just arrived last night.”
“Looks great,” Freya praised, then pointed at the two people on the ground. “These two are the Octo Adelphos.”
Brisa finally took a closer look at the two individuals, who were clearly not in a normal state.
“The Octo Adelphos? Did they get beaten up? This is quite embarrassing for The Green Flamation forum. They are senior members, after all.”
The two individuals on the ground felt hurt and strongly protested.
“It’s already outrageous enough that you’re pretending to be Green Scylla. How dare you find a woman like her to impersonate Miss Tisch!”
“Miss Tisch is the she-devil of The Green Flamation forum.”
“Miss Tisch is the Black Widow of The Green Flamation forum.”
“How could you find such a cute woman to impersonate her?” One of them sneered and glanced at Brisa’s chest. “Except for her chest, nothing else matches.”
Freya silently sat down on a nearby chair while Brisa stood in place, her smile fading. “She-devil?
While the two men continued to show their disdain, Freya turned away silently.
Then, Brisa opened her furry little bag. “Black Widow?”
She took out a dagger that gleamed with a cold light.
She toyed with the dagger, juggling it like an expert juggler. The cold light from the dagger danced between her fingers, moving so fast that a single mistake could cost her a few fingers.
In the meantime, the two men were dumbfounded.
With a smirk, Brisa revealed her two sharp incisors. “Come on. You’d better explain everything to me today!”
Freya couldn’t help but interject, “Um. They are senior members, after all, so don’t injure them too much. Just cut off an ear or something.”
After the initial shock, the Octo Adelphos trembled in fear.
-Brisa’s knife was faster than the two of them could dodge.
Following that, their wails filled the room.
Ten minutes later…
Brisa, who had calmed down, sat beside Freya, who silently looked at the two individuals before her. The two beaten-up men with swollen faces now resembled balloons even more.
“Have you calmed down now?” Freya asked Brisa.
“If it weren’t for the fact that they are from The Green Flamation forum, I would have cut off their noses and ears too. It would have made them look even rounder,” Brisa replied with a cold smile.
Freya looked at the trembling Octo Adelphos huddling together.
“Do you believe us now?”
“Yes, we do!” they said in unison.
Tisch had posted something similar on the forum before. Although she didn’t show her face, the method was exactly the same.
That was something that couldn’t be imitated.
The two individuals tearfully pleaded, “GS, we were fools. We didn’t expect you to tell the truth.”
The Green Flamation forum was a tight-knit community, especially between the senior members and administrators. They helped each other out within this hierarchical relationship.
When/senior members encountered problems during their tasks, the administrators would help them, which could be considered a life-saving favor.
While trembling, the two begged, “GS, please punish us. We have violated the rules.”
Freya smiled and explained, “Ignorance is not a crime. But will you cooperate with me now? I want to find Rose Zero.”
The two men nodded vigorously.
Then, Freya called Jakob and asked him to untie the Octo Adelphos before introducing them, “This is Killblade, Jakob Dunn.”
After that, the two beaten-up men with shaved heads embarrassedly introduced themselves.
“I’m Michael Kerg, the older brother of the Octo Adelphos.”
“I’m Eugene Kerg, the younger brother of the Octo Adelphos.”
Once that was over, Jakob felt his mouth twitch. He tried to suppress it but failed.
Freya instructed him, “Jakob, bring them to get bandaged up and check their teeth.”
Jakob’s face continued to twitch as he led the two men away. Even after they left, Freya could still hear their voices.
Jakob asked, “Miss Tisch is so ruthless. Did she knock out your teeth?”
One of the brothers replied, “We attacked GS, so this is what we deserved. We’re already lucky that she didn’t kill us.”
But Jakob poked at their sore spots. “Miss Tisch personally shaved your heads. That’s impressive. You should keep this hairstyle.”
When Jakob brought them back after seeking medical treatment, the brothers had also changed their
clothes.
In the meantime, Freya and Brisa were playing Five-in-a-Row in the hospital room, and Brisa snorted coldly when she saw them entering the room.
The brothers shrank back in unison.
Following that, Freya asked about Rose Zero, and Michael, the older brother of the Octo Adelphos, immediately handed her his phone. “GS, you can text her yourself. Send whatever you want.”
Freya looked at the chat history between the Octo Adelphos and Rose Zero.
In addition to standard orders and requests for information, Rose Zero had urged them to find out about her death yesterday.
Rose Zero: ‘It’s best to rape her before killing her. I want to see her dead body!!
Octo Adelphos: ‘We can’t accept this additional request. We can only complete the originally negotiated
task!’
Freya glanced at the two of them, making them immediately start sweating.
Rose/Zero: “That’s fine too. Where’s the body? When are you going to kill her? I saw on Twitter that she’s on the verge of death. Being on the verge of death isn’t the same as being dead!’
Octo Adelphos: ‘You’ll receive the news tomorrow.
After Freya checked the chat history, she returned the phone to Michael. “What bank account did she use to pay you with?”
Michael immediately took the phone and pulled up the bank’s transaction records. “GS, we bought the bank account we used to receive funds, so Rose Zero’s bank account might be bought too. Is this useful?”|
Looking at the account number, Freya curled her lips. “It is useful. Since it was bought, it’s traceable!”
This was much better than searching cluelessly on the dark web, like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Freya sat in the hospital room and had Jakob bring her a computer.
To avoid exposing themselves, Michael and Eugene decided to stand guard inside the ward. The infiltrators had now become the protectors.
Freya was busy until the afternoon, tracing the identity behind the bank account the money was- transferred from. Later, she found the broker through the bank account owner and then used surveillance footage to track down the broker’s sales records.
After all that work, she finally found a familiar name.
It was Danna’s male assistant. The money was transferred from that assistant’s card.
Freya took a screenshot and sent it to Radley.
Once that was done, she did some digging on the assistant and discovered that the assistant left Caltun with Danna.
It seemed that he was “loyal” and still working for Danna at this moment.
Freya propped her cheek and said, “I found it. It confirms my suspicions.”
Brisa leaned over and looked. “Then call the police and arrest the culprit.”
Smiling bitterly, Freya pointed to Michael and Eugene in the room. “If we call the police, what would happen to them?”
Michael and Eugene both had gloomy expressions.
“Michael, Eugene, you two will redeem yourselves by catching Danna,” Freya ordered after thinking for a
moment.
The two of them were instantly energized. “Okay!”
