Chapter 152 Her First Kiss
“Nothing much.” Freya smiled bashfully. “There was a mosquito on your face.”
However, there couldn’t possibly be any mosquitoes in Caltun since it was already early fall.
Radley only smirked before he pulled her by the hand toward him..
With that, Freya lost her balance and fell into Radley’s arms.
She hurriedly pressed her hands against Radley’s chest and tried to sit up straight, but in the next second, a large hand grabbed the back of her head.
Radley’s thin lips, with a hint of intoxication, pressed against hers for a kiss that lasted only a few seconds.
Freya’s head was spinning, and the faint smell of alcohol seemed to dull her mind.
When she finally reacted, she immediately pressed against Radley’s chest and tried to speak.
However, all the sounds she made were swallowed by him.
Her heart was pounding so hard in her chest that it felt like it could jump out.
Freya, feeling annoyed at her own reaction, reached out to twist Radley’s arm.
But when she pressed against his left chest, she heard a muffled groan from between his lips.
She instantly remembered the injury on Radley’s body.
Frowning, she was about to bite the man who had no sense of boundaries when he suddenly let go of her
Their faces were only a few centimeters apart, close enough to see their own reflections in each other’s pupils.
She gritted her teeth, and for a moment, all the words of reproach couldn’t come out. “Radley Monaghan! Have you gone crazy?!”
There seemed to be a dark wave in Radley’s eyes.
After he pursed his lips, he closed his eyes in an intoxicated manner again.
Freya was furious when she saw this. She couldn’t tell if he was really drunk or just pretending!
She then took out her phone and angrily called Connor who quickly came out of Smalzot Yard and took Radley away.
Freya could only watch on, infuriated.
She knew she should take a drunkard seriously, but she couldn’t help feeling like she had fallen into a trap!
“Take care of your boss; he’s drunk now. And don’t let him do anything inappropriate!”
Drunk? Do anything inappropriate? Connor was taken aback. Since when did Mr. Monaghan have this bad habit? But Mr. Monaghan rarely drinks too much, and even when he did, he could still maintain basic rationality.
But looking at Freya’s angry face, Connor wisely chose to remain silent.
“Yes, I will take care of Mr. Monaghan. Thank you, Miss Kaufmann!”
After sending Radley away, Freya drove back home.
As she drove, the faint smell of agarwood still lingered on her lips.
Freya opened the car windows a bit, hoping to let the scent dissipate.
When the car stopped at a traffic light, she couldn’t help but lightly hit the steering wheel in frustration.
A single kiss had thrown her mind into chaos. That son of a b*tch must be poison!
Freya slowly drove past when the traffic light turned green.
As she unintentionally glanced at the rearview mirror, her heart skipped a beat, and she immediately put on a frown.
She was only now noticing the ordinary business car following her.
Freya calmly drove along two more streets, but when she saw that the car was still following her, she got on high alert and took out her phone to call Brisa.
After hanging up the phone, Freya looked at the route ahead with her lips pursed.
She drove the car directly away from the original route to her home.
Ten minutes later.
Freya drove onto a small road next to Moonshine Garden, a place sparsely populated without any residents around. On both sides of the road behind the iron fence were trees in the park. As the sky was dark, everything looked pitch black.
The business car couldn’t hide among the traffic on this stretch of road.
Freya’s heart sank when she saw the car behind her accelerating in her direction. She slowed down, allowing the vehicle to drive past her car.
However, the car came to a stop beside her before two people got out.
Freya frowned at that. Her car had been modified by Brisa, and bullets wouldn’t penetrate the body. When she heard two crisp sounds, Freya knew that the other party had taken action.
In this secluded place with no one around, her assailants were fearless and determined to eliminate her.
Freya locked the car doors and lowered the windows slightly, her eyes on the people in front of her.
“Are you from The Green Flamation forum?”
The two men seemed to hesitate at her words.
Freya smiled. “When you accepted the mission, did you meet Rose Zero who assigned it?”
One of the men growled in a low, hoarse voice, “So what if you have the answer? No one can save you today!”
As he spoke, he pulled out a weapon from the business car.
When Freya saw the outline of the weapon in the dark, she couldn’t help but click her tongue.
She didn’t think someone would dare to use this kind of explosive device in Caltun!
Meanwhile, the other person took out a cold weapon and stalked toward her car.
The two of them soon surrounded her car.
Freya’s eyes narrowed. These two men were obviously skilled, and just the two of them could match a group of ordinary assassins.
No wonder they dared to take on a mission worth 300 million.
There was a loud noise of a piercing shot against the body of the car.
Even though the car had been modified, it couldn’t withstand this kind of point–blank shot!
Freya quickly looked at the shattered windshield and turned to her phone.
When the last bullet pierced through the windshield, grazing her head and hitting the back seat, Freya gently pressed her phone.

At eight in the morning, Radley headed to Monaghan Group from Smalzot Yard.
Connor drove while reporting on the tasks that needed to be handled today.
“There’s a meeting at 3 p.m. The head of Holland Group’s Commerce Department would like to see you after the meeting,” Connor informed him.
Radley sat in the back seat, holding a tablet and looking at the details of the tasks.
Suddenly, a push notification popped up on the tablet.
After Radley’s eyes scanned it, he was rendered stunned for a few seconds.
He found the push notification again and clicked on it.
The first thing he saw on the internet was a piece of news that had made the headline.

‘Caltun General Hospital reports on Freya Kaufmann’s condition! Life–threatening at any moment!‘
A chill crawled up Radley’s back, and he tightly gripped the tablet.
He didn’t actually have much to drink last night. The only thing he was worried about was that Freya would get angry after he impulsively kissed her.

Radley looked up and barked, “Turn around! Go to Caltun General Hospital!”
The car quickly arrived at Caltun General Hospital. On the way, Connor had already investigated what happened to Freya last night.
