Chapter 92 Caught Red–handed
“Stop it,” Jared said darkly, but Julia didn’t listen. Her hands roamed around Jared’s body, making him stiffen.
Without another word, he grabbed her hand and pressed her underneath him, restraining her
movements.
“Let go!” Julia hissed, struggling to break loose, but Jared didn’t budge. After some time, she grew tired. Her eyelids trembled, and she closed her eyes, slowly falling into a deep slumber.
Looking at her peaceful countenance, Jared was caught between laughter and annoyance. His body was covered in sweat, and his face was red as he tried to suppress the raging desire inside him.
A helpless sigh slipped past his lips. He carefully let go of her arms and got out of bed. He strode into the bathroom and hurriedly took a cold shower to extinguish the ball of fire inside him.
After showering, he donned a set of pajamas and lay beside Julia. He gently pulled her closer, feeling the steady rhythm of her heartbeat. The world around them seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them in their cocoon of intimacy.
He planted a small kiss on her forehead before closing his eyes to sleep.
The next morning, the golden rays of the sun shone through the thin curtains, casting layers of light and shadow across Julia’s face, gradually waking her up.
Groaning, she groggily sat up and massaged her throbbing temples.
“This body’s physique is really poor! I only drank a little yesterday…” she muttered and sighed. She looked around, and her eyes widened when she realized where she was. It was her room! “How did I come back?” she wondered. She racked her brain to recall what happened last night, and her pupils dilated when she remembered she had seen Jared.
It seemed he had brought her back. She was so drunk that she could only remember some vague
scenes.
‘Did I take off my clothes?‘ Julia thought and immediately looked at herself. Seeing she was still wearing her dress, she was relieved.
However, as she thought about Jared’s character, she suddenly felt guilty for thinking badly of him. He wasn’t the type to take advantage of other people’s vulnerabilities. If he were, he would have long exploited her.
She heaved a sigh of relief and leaned against the headboard. At that moment, her phone rang, and Maddie’s name flashed on the screen.
Julia immediately answered the call, and Maddie’s anxious voice sounded. “Are you okay, Julia? Is everything alright?”
A frown flashed across Julia’s face, but she still responded, “I’m fine. Why do you ask?”
Maddie inhaled sharply and explained, “Good that you’re fine. I was worried you might be in trouble, just like me!”
Instantly, Julia’s expression turned solemn when she heard her words.
“What? Did something bad happen to you?” she nervously asked.
“Ahh… you don’t know? Some creep drugged my drink last night,” Maddie nonchalantly replied.
A wave of apprehension overwhelmed Julia’s senses. Her face turned pale as she asked, “Where are

you now? I shouldn’t have left you…”
Hearing her remorseful tone, Maddie let out a long breath and said, “Don’t succeed. Someone rescued me.”
worry, that creep didn’t
“That’s good,” Julia breathed out. The heaviness in her chest lightened as though the huge stone pressing on her was lifted.
“…But because I drank too much, I lost my mind and gave myself to the person who saved me,” Maddie said bitterly.
Her words stumped Julia into silence. A lump formed in her throat as she apologetically spoke. “I’m sorry, Maddie. I drank too much and left you by yourself.”
“Don’t blame yourself. Besides, I was the one who dragged you to the bar. By the way, I told that man to forget what happened. And you know what? That guy was pretty good–looking and skilled, so I don’t think I’m at a disadvantage,” Maddie comforted her.
Julia fell silent. Although Maddie had been in several relationships before, they hadn’t progressed beyond holding hands. Despite her nonchalant demeanor, Julia understood she still cared deeply, but she didn’t want her to think it was her fault.
Setting aside the topic, Maddie said, “Let’s not dwell on it. I need to head back soon. I remember my mom bought emergency contraception a few days ago, but I never took it. I didn’t expect it to come in handy now.”
“That’s good, then. Avoiding pregnancy is important,” Julia agreed, but her brows furrowed. “But emergency contraception’s effectivity is around 99%, so there’s still a chance you might become pregnant. Do you want me to take a look at it for you?”
“Don’t jinx it! Let’s not talk about it, okay? I’ll take the medicine.” Maddie paused when she realized what Julia had said and asked dubiously, “What did you say? You can help me. But how can you do that?”
“Well, I’ve learned the traditional medicine, and I can help you with acupuncture-” She hadn’t finished her words yet, but Maddie had already cut her off.
“Acupuncture? That’s too painful! Besides, you’ve just recently learned that. Taking medical pills is more reliable. Plus, I doubt I’ll be that unlucky, hitting the 1% mark.”
“Okay, then. I’ll hang up first,” Julia said.
Maddie hummed in agreement, and Julia hung up the phone and subsequently dialed Lincoln’s number.
“Wolf Five, help me investigate Rocket Pub last night.” A cold glint flashed into her eyes as she spoke.
“Got it,” Lincoln replied.
Later that night, at the Rocket Pub, a young man sat in the corner, and his gaze darted at the women. His eyes gleamed with lust as he tried to look for his next prey.
However, remembering what happened last night, he cursed under his breath, “Damn! What bad luck!”
Last night could have been enjoyable for him had he not been interrupted by someone. Just as this thought crossed his mind, he caught sight of someone approaching him from the corner of his eye. Turning his head, he gasped. His astonishment grew as his eyes locked onto the captivating girl before him.
‘Fuck! Her face and figure were breathtaking!‘ he inwardly exclaimed.
What stirred his excitement the most was the girl’s evident interest in him. ‘Could this really be happening?”
Seeing the man had taken the bait, Julia winked at him and walked toward the private room gracefully.
Swallowing his saliva, the man followed her like a puppet, as if he had lost his soul.
Witnessing this scene, the onlookers couldn’t help but feel envious; wondering why such fortune didn’t come their way.
Once inside the room, the man’s excitement was palpable as he rubbed his hands together.
Julia sauntered to the man and roughly grabbed his tie without a word.
At that instant, a blood–curdling scream echoed across the room.
“No! Don’t! I was wrong.”
The spectators listening to them got even more jealous as the man’s scream intensified. Shortly after, the door of the private room swung open, and Julia emerged, clapping her hands, exuding a radiant elegance.
‘That fast? It’s only five minutes!‘ Everyone thought and sneered at the man’s stamina.
They swept their gazes at Julia and wondered if they should strike up a conversation with her, hoping a similar situation would befall them.
Finally, a man emerged from the crowd, mustering his courage, and approached Julia.
“Miss Beautiful, I wonder if I have the honor to chat with you?” As soon as his words fell, he felt someone patting his shoulder.
‘Who dares interrupt me? Clearly unaware of the concept of waiting for their turn!‘ he angrily thought but still ignored the person behind him.
He smiled at Julia and continued, “Miss, you-”
However, he didn’t finish his words when he saw Julia’s appalled expression.
