Before Julia could ask and fully wonder what Jared was doing, she noticed that he was tying the lace of her Martin boots.

Deep inside, as she stared at him doing such a thing, Julia felt like she was elevating. Although it was cold because of the snow, there was warmth in her heart.

“Let’s go.” Jared stretched out his hand, intending to take Julia’s hand.

Lorelei stretched out her long nails, trying to scratch Julia’s face. Not only that, she also wanted to pull Julia’s clothes and make her look embarrassed in public.
However, before she could do any of what she was thinking, someone kicked her using long straight legs. Lorelei flew out and hit the trash can heavily on her back.
And since the trash can was whole when she bumped into it, it scattered around and spread all over Lorelei’s face.
A wave of silence was heard all over the place after what happened. Their old classmates couldn’t believe what they witnessed and were stunned. It was clear that everyone was frightened.
By then, Julia’s eyes fell on Jared’s legs and sighed. “Why did you do it? You’ll get dirty.”

Hearing that, Simon looked horrified and shook his head at the woman. It was as if Lorelei had committed suicide, leaving no room for repentance.
Upon hearing the woman’s shouts and screams, Julia and Jared stopped momentarily. Then, seconds later, they walked side by side in the falling snow. They ignored the woman and got in the car before they left entirely.
