Chapter 204: Jared half kneels in front of Julia
‘She hired a Callboy?‘ Lorelei was shocked.
Still surprised by what she knew, she glanced at Jared. His handsome face stood out, even his noble demeanor. It didn’t even look like he was pretending.
Since she still had doubts, she took a photo of the man and sent it to Yasmin.

[Are you sure she just hired this man to pretend to be her husband?]

Even the air around him screamed elegance. If Lorelei didn’t tell them the truth, they would think that Jared was someone from upper–class swimming in luxury because he exuded such a noble aura from the inside out. Just sitting there in silence attracted countless women to flock to him.
‘Such a person would be a hired boy? Impossible!‘
That was when Julia sighed and rolled her eyes. “Who told you he’s just some cheap man I hired?” “Look, Julia, don’t even try to save face now. It was Yasmin herself who told me the truth!” The woman confidently exclaimed. When their eyes met, Julia could tell that Lorelei was provoking her. She even eyed Jared with so much contempt.
And since she was Lorelei, everyone was swayed and believed her words.
“God, I can’t believe I envied her for finding such a fine man, who would have thought…” Another guest at the reunion shook their head and whispered, “We can’t tell who the person is based on their appearance alone. I couldn’t even tell that he’s a Callboy because he looked like some prominent CEO of a big corporation.”

We thought we would enjoy attending this after long years of separating from you. But look now, you’re acting in some drama, showing off and ridiculing people.” She sighed and continued, “You are exactly the opposite of what we imagined, or maybe we’re naive to think this will be great. Today is just all about showing off your boyfriends and wealth. It is such a boring reunion. If you hold an event in the future again, don’t bother inviting
us over.”
After Maddie said those things, she turned around and left.
With a loud bang on the door, it closed, leaving the batchmates looking at each other in shock. They looked around, the setup, the place, the people, and even the food, and that was when they realized that Maddie was right.
After three minutes, a classmate couldn’t help but look at Simon and ask, “Simon, Class President! We have known you for so long already, I can’t understand something. What was your reaction earlier? Do you happen to know Julia’s husband?”

woman.
“I’ll go! Julia is too shameless. If I hadn’t called you, I would have believed it. I almost believe that the person surnamed Brooks is a significant person.”
“He’s no big shot, I swear! If he was, then my dad would have recognized him already!” Yasmin said very confidently.
“You’re right.”
Suddenly, something came up in Lorelei’s mind.

Lorelei remembered that Julia, Jared, and those classmates had all gone out. She wanted to chase them out and tell them that Jared was, indeed, as she said!
