Chapter 151: Help! Something Big Happened!
Chapter 151: Help! Something Big Happened!
Julia’s jaw dropped, bringing her eyes to Philip’s side, and his words could not sink into her mind.
However, Philip frowned when he didn’t hear a response from Julia. He let out, “Hey, I am talking to you. Did you even hear me?!”
“Yep, I hear you.” Julia nodded her head and continued staring at Philip. “Well, I thought I was only dreaming and seemed to hear a father asking his daughter to give him an unrelated stepdaughter going to jail.”
Right after she spoke, Julia picked out her ears in front of Philip and stared back at him with wide.
eyes.
Philip didn’t comprehend that Julia was intentionally mocking him with such words and actions. He was about to burst out with frustration, and his face turned pale.
“The incident’s impact isn’t that small, as you have thought of,” Philip began and continued, “We know your sister now is a big star, so she can’t be strained. Her reputation will be greatly affected. even if her acting career doesn’t end. You are a contradiction; you have no job, are idle all day, and have nothing to do. It won’t affect you even if you’ll be imprisoned for a while.”
‘Is this what people say?‘ Julia shook her head and thought about it. In her mind, she felt the original owner had already died. If he were still alive, even if he wasn’t killed by Carter and Vivien–two scumbags–she would be killed by her father.
“What do you mean by that?” Julia had a puzzled mind. “Do you mean you want me to take the blame for Yasmin, let it go, and even call me a waste? Are you even begging for help?”
Julia felt Philip had refreshed her three views to a whole new level.
‘Beg?‘ Philip was quite disappointed hearing it.
“I’m not begging. Why will I?” Philip answered back. “I mean, you are Yassi’s older sister. As an older sister, you have an obligation to her.”
‘What the hell?!
“Why can you tell that? Is it written in the law or what?” Julia’s brows furrowed and brought her innocent eyes to Philip again. “Like you said, I am not good at school, always idle all day, and a waste. I don’t know about laws, but as I have read in a newspaper, no law states that if my younger sister hits someone to death with her car, escapes, and doesn’t want to face her responsibility, the older sister must take the blame. Do you think there’s a rule like that?”
“Julia!” Philip cried out and gritted his teeth in anger. He felt he was about to go wild with Julia.
“Say what you want to say,” Julia calmly reacted, unlike Philip’s roar that frightened anyone. Yet, her tone could make people even more ruffled.
Philip did everything to control his temper and wouldn’t want to let it burst. Deep inside, Philip had already choked Julia to death.
For three long minutes, Philip cooled down.
“I know you want to blame me for everything, Julia, and feel I am impartial. That’s why you had a bitter heart for me for years.” Philip stared at her eyes. “In this way, you can come back after serving your sentence. I’ll take your brother back if you cooperate and surrender to authority. I’m sure these days, the two of you must have a hard time battling for life and survival outside.” Upon hearing that, Julia lazily leaned sideways against the car door with a smile painted on her lips. “You guessed it wrong. You don’t have an idea. My brother and I had started a business, and

he became the boss.” She was confident to share it with him. “We were both joyous in our lives now, while I live in the first grade of Purple Garden Manor and still in the villa king. It feels like living my dream, eating and buying everything I wanted, a hundred times better than the Watson family.”
It was truthful, with no falsehoods included, yet Philip didn’t even acknowledge her words. Philip thought, ‘A self–made success? Ah, that’s so easy! And she’s telling me she lives in that expensive manor? Dream on!‘
Everyone, including Philip, knew that it was the most costly and lavish villa in Monroe City. Not only was every inch of land pricey, but if someone did not have enough status to show, they couldn’t acquire it.
Last time, Philip was lucky enough to step into the Purple Garden Manor with a big boss. With its exquisite environment, he was stunned by its beauty and how tall it was. He didn’t hesitate to interrogate the staff about its price. Still, his jaw dropped, not to mention the villa king of Purple
Garden Manor.
‘I can’t even dream of living with it,‘ Philip thought.
Philip cleared his throat. “Julia, remember that this ain’t a discussion. I am telling you that I have made my decision.”
“What?!” Julia’s eyes widened in amusement. “What’s the use of making a decision? Can’t you understand that I don’t want to take the blame for Yasmin? What else can you do?”
Some thoughts were lingering in her mind. “You want someone to arrest me in the station. forcefully? Well then, I will still confess that it’s not me. I was only forced. I’m not drunk. And tell them it was Yasmin, not me.”
Philip’s grim face became ugly, and he coldly asked, “Is your decision fixed that you won’t take the blame for your sister?”
Before Julia responded, she opened the car door beside her and exited. “If you are sick, then I am
not.”
Philip’s chest heaved heavily, narrowing his gloomy old eyes at her, and threatened her with his. look. “Fine. I know you will regret it.”
Julia shook her head. “No, it’s not me who will regret it, but you will.”
Her words seemed not humble nor overbearing, but she brought her eyes back at him again, seeing dissatisfaction on his face.
Minutes later, Julia blinked and did not waste time looking at Philip. She slammed the door and walked away.
“What an asshole!” Philip roared furiously, followed Julia with a stare, and wished she could shoot Julia. “You must take the blame for this.”
Philip lowered the car window while the assistant waiting at the side came close after she walked
away.
“Boss, what are your orders now?” The assistant asked.
“Now, find someone to release that news, and tell them that someone has witnessed that the car she was driving got hit and run by someone yesterday.” Philip once again glanced at the corner where Julia was already gone. “And tell that witness personally saw that the person who got out of the car was Julia.”

Afterward, Philip got his phone and sent the picture to his assistant.
Someone had sent that picture anonymously to him in exchange for money. And if he didn’t do it, Yasmine would be ruined.
Did that someone who scared him thought he had been nothing for all these years? That was the same method he thought about a long time ago. He acted preemptively and made it public, saying that the back view of that photo was Julia. Though, the figure in that photo wasn’t apparent. Also, Julia and Yasmin’s backs were almost the same, so no one could tell whoever it was.
If he made it public first, then people would be deceived. People would no longer believe it when someone out there pinpointed that it was Yasmin.
“Copy that, boss. I’ll do it now,” replied the assistant
Meanwhile, Julia was oblivious to Philip’s plot, but she stopped walking in front of the pharmacy. It had been seventy–two hours, and the contraceptive pill had little effect. She felt over the moon. that it had transpired two days ago, and it was within her safe period, so she wouldn’t win the lottery just like Maddie since she was pregnant.
Even if she stepped back a thousand steps and won the lottery, she was a doctor, so she could only prescribe some medicines to get rid of it.
‘Thinking about that way, if there’s something…
Julia halted from thinking and lowered her head. She raised her hand and pressed her palm against her abdomen.
If she had one, that would probably be her closest family member, and maybe she could bear that.
In the middle of her overthinking, her phone suddenly vibrated. As she had checked, it was from Maddie. When the phone suddenly connected, she heard Maddie’s apprehensive voice.
“Julia, help! Something serious happened!”
