Chapter 150: Let Her Take The Blame For Julia (Kat)
Shiloh’s heart raced as he uncovered the hidden object. But before he could see it clearly, a hand swooped in, snatching it away. Julia’s hand darted behind her back, a defiant expression on her face.
“Did you ever think that the esteemed Second Young Master of the Brooks family would resort to rummaging through trash?” Julia smirked, challenging Shiloh.
As Julia stood her ground, her mind raced.
So close. He was so close.
She had observed Shiloh leaving earlier with Aunt Selina and deduced his intentions. Just in the nick of time, she intervened. If he had been a second quicker, he would have seen her holding contraceptive pill.
If Shiloh managed to lay eyes on it, Julia knew that her efforts to prevent him from sharing it wi Jared would be in vain. Although Jared’s memory of that night was hazy, his intelligence was undeniable. With the addition of the contraceptive pill incident, he would likely connect the dot and uncover the truth. Julia braced herself for the inevitable revelation.
“You’ve got a talent for trash can investigations,” Shiloh remarked with a sly grin, casting a look over Julia’s shoulder as he spoke.
He wanted to peek, but Julia firmly held her ground, refusing to reveal the contents to him. “What’s this all about? It’s becoming a real mystery.”
“I’ve already spilled the beans to your brother.”
“Huh? You told my brother? About what?”
Shiloh couldn’t wrap his head around the fact that she would tell his brother, but not him.
“If you’re curious, go ahead and ask your brother,” Julia replied, stepping back a few paces to create distance between them. She then turned and swiftly departed, leaving Shiloh behind with his unanswered questions.
Shiloh couldn’t bear the mystery any longer. He sought out Jared, anxious to uncover the truth. “Brother, what’s Julia hiding? She told you something.”
“Hmm?”
Jared’s nonchalant response left Shiloh frustrated. “You just ‘hmm‘? Seriously?”
With a subtle smile, Jared leaned in and said, “My wife’s matters are my concerns too. Want to know?”
Shiloh’s eyes widened like saucers. He had been hoping for an answer, not a playful tease. “Whatever, brother.”
Once Shiloh had departed, Jared remained engrossed in his phone, seeking guidance from an expert director at a tertiary hospital.
“My wife has pelvic inflammatory disease. What should I be mindful of?”
The doctor offered advice, “Ensure she stays warm, avoids consuming highly irritating foods, and maintains cleanliness in shared spaces to prevent introducing harmful bacteria. If the condition is severe, it’s advisable to refrain from sexual activity.”
Reading this, Jared’s demeanor tightened.

Chapter 150: Let Her Take The Blame For Julin (Kat)
Not sharing a room? Are you kidding me?
Meanwhile, Julia was struggling to suppress her laughter. “Achoo!” she sneezed. Why was she sneezing so much? Must be all the talk about her.
En route to Purple Garden Manor, Julia noticed a car pulling up. With just a single glance, Julia recognized the car as belonging to the Watson Family, often driven by Philip’s preferred chauffeur. As the car door swung open, Philip emerged, his expression stern as he fixed his gaze on Julia.
“Get in the car, I need to have a word with you,” Philip stated, his tone heavy.
“I’ve got nothing to discuss with you,” Julia retorted, her response devoid of emotion.
It dawned on her that her constant sneezing was likely a result of Philip’s recent conversation about her. It was puzzling, really, that Philip had always held a prominent position within the Watson Family, yet he hadn’t reached out to them after they were cast out from their home. And now, with his serious and slightly anxious demeanor, it appeared that something significant ha indeed occurred.
But here’s the thing what did any of this have to do with her?
“Julia, don’t push me. Our family’s reputation is at stake. Please, get in the car right away. If you don’t comply, I’ll go find your brother,” Philip’s tone turned firm.
“Are you using my brother as leverage to manipulate me?” Julia’s frustration surged to the surface. Philip’s attempt to leverage her brother infuriated her more. She loathed when people used her -loved ones against her.
One thing she detested most was when people used her loved ones to threaten or control her. If the situation involved anyone else, she wouldn’t have hesitated to take action long ago. But this wasn’t just any person; it was her biological father, which complicated matters.
The truth was, no matter who crossed her boundaries, she wouldn’t let it slide easily. However, in Philip’s case, the equation was complicated. He wasn’t just her father; he was also Conrad’s father. If she took drastic action against him, even though Conrad wouldn’t blame her, he would undoubtedly feel distressed. After all, one side was his biological father, and the other was his cherished sister.
Amidst these considerations, Julia quelled her impulses.
“If that’s how you’re approaching this, then I won’t explain further. Join me in the car first. There are things that are better discussed in private,” Philip stated before taking his place inside the
vehicle.
Curiosity gnawed at Julia. What was Philip’s motive for seeking her out?
As frustrated as she felt, Julia decided not to escalate things further. If she lashed out, it could hurt Conrad, and that was a line she didn’t want to cross. Philip’s urgency hinted at genuine concern, which puzzled her even more.
Seizing a moment of curiosity, Julia climbed into the car. What could her father want from her? Sliding into the car, Julia faced Philip and urged, “Get to the point quickly, I’m in a rush.”
Although Philip found Julia’s demeanor irksome, he had to temper his annoyance given the gravity of the situation.
“Last night, while your sister was driving back, she had a bit to drink and accidentally struck someone,” Philip revealed.
Raising an eyebrow, Julia inquired, “Did she hit and kill someone?”

“They’re not deceased, but they’re hospitalized. I’ve been informed that the surgery is complete, but the condition remains unstable, and the chances of survival are slim.”
Interrupting her own train of thought, Julia interjected, “Wait a minute! Why are you telling me this?” She fixed him with a stern gaze. “Did she leave the scene after the accident?”
It took him a while to answer.
“Yes,” he admitted.
Julia’s mind raced. Her sister, an artist in the first tier, had been in an accident. If it were exposed it could be detrimental. Yet the news hadn’t surfaced online, meaning Julia’s sister hadn’t been one driving. Someone else was involved.
“In that case, she acted irresponsibly. If she didn’t hit and run, but immediately took the injured person to the hospital, she could have ensured they received timely treatment,” Julia criticized Yasmin’s actions without hesitation.
Philip’s irritation was palpable upon hearing Julia’s scolding. Surprisingly, he was still standing in Yasmin’s corner, protecting her despite her involvement in the hit–and–run incident. It was as it ΋ was disregarding the fact that someone had been injured and left to suffer.
“No, Father, Yasmin fled the scene after the accident. Why are you telling me this?”
Julia’s mind raced. Did Philip somehow discover that she was apprenticing as a divine doctor? Was he hoping to leverage her medical skills to help save the injured person at the hospital? It seeme unlikely, given Philip’s attitude in discussing the matter. If he had known about her abilities, he wouldn’t have approached her with accusations.
“Someone took pictures of Yasmin’s car at the scene of the accident, and those photos show the car entering our Watson Family’s estate. They’ve sent those photos to us, using them to blackmail our family,” Philip explained, his expression tense.
“And then?” Julia inquired, still in the dark about Philip’s true intentions.
Meeting her gaze head–on, Philip took a deep breath. “Yasmin was the one who witnessed the accident. I’ve come to you because I’m hoping you’ll take responsibility for Yasmin.”
