“Who are you?”
The cold words caused Seraphina’s expression to change slightly, and she felt a tingling sensation in her heart.

“Mae Lee didn’t tell me that she still has an older sister.”
His tone was indifferent.
And his question caused the expression on Seraphina’s face to stiffen slightly.
“I’m her stepsister.”
“Stepsister?”
Mark eyes narrowed. “Are you the daughter of the Lee family?”

She tugged at the corner of her mouth awkwardly and replied, “Yes” is not right, and “No” is not right
either.

“Sera, you’re father’s only daughter. That Mae Lee, this father of yours won’t recognize her.”

Seraphina was moved to lay on her father’s shoulder and cried even more fiercely.

The heater in the car made Mae sleepy.
In a trance, she felt like she was standing on the deck of a cruise ship.
The cool wind blowing on the sea disturbed her long hair. As far as the eye could see, the darkness was like an endless vortex pressing down on her.
In a blink of an eye, she was already in the sea. The cold water was wrapping her. She watched the man in the distance jump off the cruise ship without hesitation. Although it was very far away, she could see Mark’s panicked face clearly.
She watched as he swam to the other side, getting further and further away from her.
Her body began to sink. The sea water rushed into the tip of her nose and drowned her head. The feeling of suffocation became heavier and heavier.
She suddenly woke up and found herself sitting in the car with soothing music playing.
She squeezed her heart, which was still beating wildly.
She looked out of the car window in a trance. She thought of that thrilling dream. Unconsciously, it had overlapped with her previous life, causing her to not be able to tell where she was.
“Miss Lee, we’re here.”
The driver’s voice woke Mae from her trance. The car was already parked under the basement.
“Thank you.”
She opened the door and got out of the car. After saying goodbye to Aaron’s driver, she entered the elevator.
Just as she walked in, Aaron’s call came.
“Mae, aren’t you home yet?”
