Chapter 136 Mae Lee is deceiving her
“Have you ever left the hospital?”
Mae asked straight to the point, and Jennifer’s drooping eyelashes trembled.
Mrs. Smith’s eyes zoomed in and stated preemptively, “I knew you would say this. I’m afraid that you had already thought about such a vicious plan to protect yourself from being responsible for Jenny’s miscarriage, right?”
She continued to talk not giving Mae any chance to speak while looking at Mark this time around,
“Mark, I think she said back then that Jennifer could not go anywhere in the hospital in order to leave a way out for herself today. I would have guessed that she would talk about this.”
As soon as Mrs. Rebecca Smith finished ranting, she noticed Mae’s lips forming into a smile.

“We asked Director Morris and said it’s okay for Jenny to go out for a while.”

“Oh, now this is odd. Since Director Morris said that she can go out without any problem, it means that there was nothing wrong with the process of my treatment. It’s not appropriate for Mrs. Smith to put the blame on me now, right?”
The expressions of the two of them froze and eventually changed.
Moreover, their guilty conscience couldn’t allow them to meet Mae’s eyes directly, let alone glanced at Mark.

“Mae, you don’t have to reason anymore. Who knows, what means you used to pierce Jenny’s body with those needles of yours. We are laymen who know nothing about it.
Mrs. Smith finally found a reason and suddenly became more assertive.
“Back then, I told Mark that I couldn’t trust you. After all you used to be a vase who can’t even hold a gun properly, then suddenly you end up displaying such great medical skills? You know what, I don’t care. What’s clear now my poor grandchild was killed by you. Mae Lee, I won’t… The family won’t definitely let you get away from this.”
After speaking, she tried to find the slightest look of fear on Mae’s face. However, from the beginning to the end, Mae looked calmn and relaxed, as if she believed that she could get rid of this
matter.

Mae did not give the impression of even listening to her words. She did not even bother looking at them. Instead, she took out a USB flash drive from her pocket and handed it to the man standing behind him.
Mark looked at her and reached out to take the USB drive and confusedly asked, “This is?“.
“I had an accurate screen recording of every acupuncture step and every acupuncture point for Jennifer. With Mr. Smith’s capability, it was not that difficult to find any skilled TCM masters within the country and abroad. Although they did not know my treatment method, if they watched the video, they could surely determine whether the few stitches I gave did anything wrong.”

“Okay, then I’ll find all the famous Chinese medicine practitioners to see how you killed my child.”
Her red and swollen eyes were filled with hatred and rage.
